I've special ordered tires, bought several pairs of glasses, and regularly get gas at this Costco location. I also Sherpa for mi esposa on her Costco runs. The quality of the products is high, and the prices are good if you can handle the serving sizes. Can't beat the gas prices. The frame options for spectacles are underwhelming and generally not fashionable, but the price is right, the return policy is great, and I'm not a slave to fashion. I decided to try progressive lenses instead of my usual tri-focals this year and absolutely hated them. Costco took them back, no problem, even though there was nothing wrong with them and they were exactly what I ordered. They can get you brand name tires, like the Michelins I bought, for the best prices around. Go to Les Schwab if you don't care what the brand name is and you'll find better prices there. read more

Best kept secret? Costco on a Wednesday night... 630pm, plenty of parking and no lines!!!! Don't tell

We love going to Costco. Yes, we sometimes buy in bulk when we were not expecting to, but we are pretty good about only buying what we know we will use. Their return policy is the best. We had a printer that stopped working, and they refunded the full amount. We go to Costco first on shopping days and then to a grocery store for the items they do not have. read more

This Costco is the best in my opinion. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is CLEAN. The produce is fresh and delicious. The selection of foods and wines is amazing. The prices are the best I have found anywhere for meats, dairy products and bakery goods. The quality is predictably excellent. I go there about every two weeks and I am never disappointed in the quality or selection. If I have one thing I wish were different it is the cluttering of the aisles with vendors, boxes and the like. It can make it really hard to get around with the big carts. But it is such a minor complaint. read more

I guess they don't want me to join. "Generic Error" on the website and in-person "customer service" lines are far too long.

not bad. plenty of parking but too much crowd even on weekdays as it takes load of people from kirkland redmond and i guess bellevue as well. you can find almost everything, their cheese cake is good. read more

The staff here is incredibly friendly and sample time extends past 4pm regularly. I recommend this Costco highly. Also, if you're hungry, the polish hot dogs are quite tasty...any only $1.50...and this includes a drink. read more

I LOVE our Kirkland Costco BUT has anyone heard of a personal Costco shopper??? I just don't seem to be able to find the time (or the parking place)???? If so approximately what do they charge per trip/hour especially for returns? read more

For the information of everybody who loves Costco........it is owned by China and it stands for China OverSeas Trading Corporation.

Prices are great but realize that not everything there is actually lower than the outside.

Helpful employees. Great selection. Parking is easy. Lines move quickly. I recommend this location!

Yesterday I went to the Customer Service asking the difference benefits of Gold versus Executive. The girl told me several benefits and mentioned that I will get a bag of gifts I renew my executive instead of changing to Gold. I told her I will renew the Executive and on top of that, open the Costco visa. After transaction, I asked about the gift and she apologized that they run out of bags. She decided to give me a small plastic bag with a small water bottle and 3 snacks. I said thank you and proceed shopping. After shopping I pass the canopy with the advertisement about opening an Executive membership and I saw some gift bags. My cart was heavy and I had a kid that wants lunch so I decided I will not stop at the customer service. Then when I passed the Customer Service, I saw a sign that says: Executive and Visa, you could get a $60 gift card. Not sure what does it mean, but I am disappointed that CS did not feel obliged to check or provide rain check for us. I like shopping at Costco even though we go to other stores as well and expect a good service when we pay 120 for membership there. read more

DO NOT BUY TIRES FROM COSTCO! I have always had great experiences shopping at Costco but the customer service for purchasing tires was horrible. I got quotes from several places and decided to go with Costco since they generally always have good product and good service. I was told they don't take appointments but it generally takes 1 - 1.5 hours from start to finish after you arrive. I sent an employee to have 2 tires put on. She arrived at 10:00 AM and didn't get out until 2:30 PM. They charged my card at 10:15 AM for 4 tires. I had to call and ask them why they put on 4 vs. 2. Then, they gave me the pressure sales pitch to keep all 4 on the car. I ended up agreeing to 3 but it took them another 2 hours to get the one tire off! My employee asked if she could walk around in the warehouse while waiting and have them call her. 2 hours later she finds out that the car was finished but they didn't bother to call her. The manager told her that sometimes they get too busy to call. Wish now I'd just gone ahead and purchased tires at Discount Tire. Now, instead of paying another $20 - 30 on the tires, it ended up costing $$70 - 80 more because of having to pay my employee for all the extra wait time. read more

Caveat: This review is ONLY for the Kirkland Costco. For the people complaining about getting "snapped at" by the samples people, I say bring on MORE snapping please! People at this Costco cut and snatch like there's no tomorrow. I will say that the adults are actually worse than the kids at this location. For instance, there was this grown man at the chicken salad/pretzel bread samples booth today demanding that he get first dibs on the sample tray before the samples lady was even finished preparing it. Yeah, really. I don't know why he felt so entitled...maybe because he's more special than the other customers? If I were the samples lady, I would've told this loser to grow up & piss off. Maybe it's because of the proximity of this Costco to Microsoft and other tech companies in the area that bring in the more socially challenged "special" people, I don't know. Whatever it is though, I wanna snap & scream at every other person myself every time I'm here. They are so rude! read more

Well, Kirkland Costco, if you put customer service feedback slips out for people to complete, this review wouldn't be public. Idiots. This store is by far the worst in the area. Consistently slow service... tonight was especially awful. After waiting in line an excessive amount of time, watching all the other lanes fully move through their queue, the cashier tries to ask if I want to upgrade my membership. I think he might have realized he made a mistake given how I just watched him take 20 minutes to put one customer through the darn line, but some other dipstick female comes bouncing up to try to get me to upgrade. No sense of anything the customer needs. Completely focused on herself to the point of being offensive. Wtf, Costco. That's part of why your darn lines are so long. How about we come to you when we want to deal with that crap, huh? Awful experiences one right after another tonight. Thought just a random Thursday night would be ok to visit, but nope. The front end "manager" was a joke, too. Completely oblivious to the situations around him. It was pathetic. He's just looking around at nothing, attempting to look like he's working. "Dan MC" is it? Yeah.. thanks for not having customer service feedback forms out. This gets to be public as a result. :) Some lame girl behind the counter near the restrooms tried to tell me feedback forms were between membership and photo processing. What a surprise, nothing was there. For reference, I've left many positive customer service comments at the Issaquah location. Kirkland's location sucks big time. read more

The wholesale corporation Costco scored again. If Costco's employees are not picking up moldy strawberries out of packages in front of the customers (which means they are selling half of the box with mold infected berries for the same price like the full box), they are selling unripe green-yellow produce. Bought three packages of strawberries to find out (at home) that most of the strawberries are unripe, yellow. Shame on Costco! Shame on Driscoll's that is selling the finest organic strawberries - not edible. The cheating on consumers by corporations has no bounds. The strawberries are red from one side and yellow from the other. However Driscoll cheats on consumer by arranging the berries the ripe side up in the box and Costco sells this brand! It was at home where I found out the berries were unripe from the side not visible in the box. Done with this brand and shopping for produce at Costco. read more

Okay. I have to say something about one of the products that Costco carries. I've had a lot of cookies throughout my life. Granted, I'm only 22 but 22 years is still ample time to try all sorts of cookies- homemade, store-bought, chocolate chip, cinnamon and sugar, M&M- the list goes on. When I first tried "Miss Thinsters Coconut Cookie Thins," I had an awakening. They were so unique, so delicious, so eye-opening, that for a moment I felt the way that Neil Armstrong felt when he first stepped on the moon. I felt the way that Thomas Edison felt when he first thought about inventing the light bulb. And most importantly- I felt the way that Nicholas Cage felt in "National Treasure" when he found all of the treasure. All of it. All of the treasure. I didn't realize what I was missing before I tried one of these cookies. But now that I've tried one, I can say with full confidence that everyone else should too. So here's to you Neil Armstrong. Here's to you Thomas Edison. And here's to you Nicholas Cage. I've felt what you have, and without "Miss Thinsters Coconut Cookie Thins"- I never would've been able to. Thank you. read more

Not happy with the change to Citibank. I had a credit card with them years ago and they have not changed. Customer service is not in their vocabulary. The transition was horrible. Like Dennis S who also posted my experience was just like his. I have never in 40 years of having a credit card paid interest. I was charged for $27.00 late fee that with phone calls was able to get taken off my bill. Then I saw they charged me interest because I had not paid my final bill with American Express. I was told that the billing was going to transfer to Citi. So I waited for a bill. I looked on line and saw they were already trying to make $ off me. Not happy they said they would credit this to my account. Next day the bill arrives. Says not to be late or I will have a late fee. Thanks Citi, I have no history with you so you make me out to be one who does not pay my bills. My payment was due on the 9th of August. So I scheduled with my bank to send the total balance as I have done for 40 years about 3 days early. Today 7/25 I get a call from Citi. Your payment is past due. Pay now. I told them that my payment for the balance was coming. They seemed ok with that then. I went back on line and changed the payment for ASAP. I can see it now. My 800+ credit rating going down the tube because Costco wants to save $$$. Careful who you partner with it my bite you in the end. read more
