I had a great experience with Costco Tire center when I needed new tires on my car after my back tire blew out on the freeway. I brought my tires off the Costco tire website and they had a deal on the Bridgestone brand. My old tires were Michelin but I didn't trust them anymore after my tire just blew out when the dealership already said it was still in good condition. It took a week for my tires to be delivered to Costco. I called their tire service to see if I could go sooner than my appointment date because the earliest date available on their website was two days later. The person who picked up said I could come right when they open as a Costco Executive member and they can fit me in. I did just that and Costco even open their doors 10 minutes early to let people in. I checked in at the tire center and he said as a walk in, they'll try to work on my car in an hour if they are free. I got a call an hour later that my car was done. So they finish it quick and I was happy with the service. read more

I called ahead and Remy helped me with my tire order. Came in and the customer service was quick and efficient. Tires were bought and I just had to wait for them to arrive. Once they were delivered, I came to pick up the tires. You get a number cone and put it on your car. The whole experience was pretty smooth and faster than expected. Only thing was none of the tire caps were put back. Annoying but I should've checked. Aside from that I am happy with my tires. Thank you! read more

BLANCA IS DA BOMB!!!!! So nice to see a woman working in a tire center. Blanca is a bubbly, efficient ball of energy with love of her job - a RARE find indeed! She got us booked in quickly, confirmed our choices for installation and when we checked out with our new tires, she was there to pose for a great pic and send us out with a cheerful thanks and 'See you again!' Many of us "little girls" follow our dads and brothers around while they work on cars, learning tools and basic car repair, but rarely find inspiration to work in that field. Blanca - and, indeed, Costco Tire Center Pacoima - shows that, if you have the capability, knowledge, passion and energy, anyone can work in this department. DANGEROUS DELI PRACTICES: Re-labeled food made us sick! I am beyond disgusted with the Pacoima Costco deli. My husband and I both have severe food poisoning after eating the Chicken Alfredo purchased here. When I looked at the package, I discovered a "Sell By" label had been placed directly over a hidden, original label. They literally covered up the original packaging information to keep selling it. It is gross and dangerous that this warehouse would risk their members' health just to avoid tossing a tray of pasta. I have already filed a formal complaint with the health department and have photo proof of the overlapping labels. Do NOT trust the deli dates at this location. They clearly care more about profit than food safety. read more

It was a good deal overall, and I appreciate the pricing. However, I had to wait more than 3 hours for just two tire replacements. I was told I would receive a call when it was ready, so I waited patiently. After noticing it was taking quite a while, we followed up multiple times. On the third time asking, we were told it had already been ready but I never received a call. I just hope they can be more mindful of customers' time and improve communication. I went to Hamer Toyota where I was told my tire was "non-patchable" and a new replacement was $550. I told them just to add the spare and the advisor told me that was not recommended. I told him the replacement is the same size as the other 3 tires so to just use the replacement and leave the tire with the nail in my trunk. I went to Costco and was going to only replace 1 tire for half the price. The tire center staff went above and beyond by checking my tire with the nail and called me telling me they could patch it up or if I wanted to go through with the 1 tire being replaced. I opted to only get the tire patched as it saved me over $250. I hope Costco management sees this and highly considers giving the tire center staff a raise and/or bonus!! they truly deserve it. For those people that write negative reviews over wait time seriously need to reconsider it as Costco offers good prices and warranty. If you don't have the time to wait or come back later for your vehicle then you need to take it somewhere else where it may be quicker but it will definitely cost you more over time. I wouldn't have wrote this review if it wasn't for Mark one of the guys at the tire shop. I purchased the tires through the Costco website and I called him a couple hours later to check if they had any in stock to just get it installed without waiting for the tires to be shoppe He took his time to look around and found 4 that I wanted and he told me to come in the next day and he'll have it on hold for me. He followed through on his word and I was able to get in there and be out in no time. When I saw him in person he was very courteous and professional. I went today and they broke 2 of my center wheel caps that's going to cost me 40 bucks to replace, that alone wouldn't get me to upset, but the fact they didn't tell me and just left it in my cup holders ticked me off. I question if I will come back to get any services from them ever again after this experience. I spoke to the worker after he gave me my keys and asked if everything was good. But he failed to notify me that they broke my wheel caps. What the heck costco tire center? Who breaks someone's things without mentioning it or even offering to replace them. read more

If you make an appointment beware that your car might not be ready after your 30-45 min Costco shopping trip. I would recommend go get some Jamba Juice or stroll thru Best Buy before shopping at Costco to avoid waiting for 20-30 min after you paid for your stuff inside Costco. Other than the long wait, for the price and complimentary services and warranty, getting your tires at Costco is probably the best deal. You have free Nitro (or whatever its called) air. If you get a nail or a puncture that needs a patch, they cover that for free. If you completely destroy your tire, they give you a good deal on a new one. read more

Wish I could give No-Stars... but this tire center is an embarrassment to the Costco Brand and they need a better, more professional staff! I have gotten burned twice by this Costco and they run their tire shop like a crooked mechanic shop that tries to up sell as much as they can to make a quick buck! First I ordered new tires for my truck, before they mounted them, they tried tell me the Toyota lug nuts fit their socket "too tight" and they might incorrectly torque down. I called BS and had them show me the socket and lug nuts, it fit just fine. The manager wouldn't budge. It took so long to even get the appointment and my old tires weren't safe to drive so I really had no choice but to pay the extra $70 for new lug nuts. Then I went back a few weeks later because My SUV low tire pressure light came on. These tires were only a couple years old with normal rotation done by the Acura Dealership. I still had approx 40K miles of warranty remaining on the tires. I waited almost 4 hours just for them to rotate the tires and fill all tires to the correct pressure. They refused to rotate the tires because they said my wheels were out of alignment and the tires were wearing down uneven. They tried to sell me new tires or said they can't rotate my tires unless I take it to a mechanic for a wheel alignment. Don't even bother with the Pacoima Costco Tire Center. It's a shame because their Warehouse staff is excellent and we love shopping there since they tend to be less crowded than most Costco Warehouses. read more

Terrible service. Obvious internal communications problems too. I had to come back after my tire light came on, 10 minutes within having it replaced at Costco! A technician who was incredibly patronizing tells me that my car is "fancy" so he isn't sure what's going on. He instructs me to pull into the repair bay and when I do, a different tech flips out, yelling at me that I'm not supposed to be doing that. Literally scolded for doing what your team member just instructed me to! No apology, no acknowledgment that I've just paid hundreds of dollars to get a repair done correctly. No accountability on their part to make sure the customer has a satisfactory experience. I get that prices are low, but having a good attitude and treating customers well should be universal for any responsible business. Get it together Costco tires, you either need new staff or better training! And of course they weren't able to fix the light coming on! read more

The service here is quick and simple, they get right to it and don't complicate things. I had gone to order 4 set of tires for my car on Thursday and got the call saying to bring my car in for the tires on Monday. I went there first thing at 10 when they open and over all took ruddy and hour and twenty six minutes to complete.When ordering in person you will have to know the tire size of your vehicle (says on the sticker of the drivers side door) . The only odd thing about this experience is that when you go to the service counter there is nobody to greet you nor is there a check in list or bell , button of any sort to notify a worker that you are there. I felt confused as if I was to go find someone from Costco or I had to ask someone to call someone to the front desk. I was waiting for 15 minutes till one of the technicians came. read more

Lets begin with, my car has run flats, which means, my car does not come with a spare tire. So I have been without a car for 6 days. Brought my original tires at Costco a few years ago, they still have lots of life in them. One of the tires was defective. Since the other tires are still good and one was under warranty. I decided to get buy 1 tire so at least the back ones match. They originally told me 3 days, then 3 - 5 days. It has now been 6 days, no tires and I am without a car. I have been very nice and patient. Explaining to them that I have been carless the entire time. Asking as nicely as possible if they can look into it. There reply has been, "maybe tomorrow boss," no apology, no since of urgency. I find the lack of customer service astonishing. I DO NOT recommend Costco Tire Center to anyone. read more

I went in to Costco's Tire Center this morning (Wednesday July 7). Granted, I wasn't very optimistic given the poor reviews on Yelp. However, my dad has had nothing but positive experiences at this location so I went at his insistence. Background: I drive a 2012 VW Golf. It ain't pretty but it gets me around. I've patched the tires on my car many times over. I was surprised by the pricing I was given. It was hundreds less than I expected. I originally planned to buy just one tire since I got a flat rear yesterday and my spare tire was already being used in the front. I know, I know, poor decision on my part not fixing it sooner. Given the pricing, I opted with replacing all 4 tires. When I first got there, it was before the tire center opened so I waited maybe 10-15 minutes for the crew to set up for the day. Not a big deal. Once they were ready, they quickly helped everyone in the line before me and got to me within minutes of opening. I explained my situation and I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of pressure or aggression. After explaining the options and pricing available for my car, the employee left it up to me without trying to influence me or pressure me. As I said previously, I decided to buy the 4 tires and have the tires installed as well. I also asked for a favor. The favor was to have the best of the 4 tires already on my car replace the punctured spare tire I had in the hatch of my car and they fulfilled it. All things considered, I had a great experience given that it was last minute and I was out of there with new tires installed in about an hour. My brother (who is very knowledgeable about cars) had a look and it is also his opinion that they did a good job. read more

Their tire prices are affordable with very good warranty. This tire center is very reliable and has never disappointed us. Let's start from beginning after my tire sensor went off. I went to Lancaster Costco first and they said tires just needed air and sensors light would go off on its own. Then after three days light was still on. Went to local costco in pacoima and spoke with Jairo and he was so rude. No smile, no hello just this miserable look of inconvenience. I told him my story and he didn't ask for my membership or anything else just he sent me back out to the tire repair entrance to wait and did not come out. after a while I asked Tyson for help and he was able to explain what might be wrong , sensor replacement. I had to some back in to the store and he checked my records typed up a repair order and worked on my car. I was upset about how Jairo treated me and his unprofessionalism. Unlikely of Costco employees. Anyway, I give two stars because Tyson made up where Jairo lacked. I wish I would've not encountered Jairo first and then that would be a different outcome. read more
