This is my favorite Costco to go to! Everyone here is always super nice, friendly, and helpful. It's a big Costco, which is great because they pretty much have everything I need. They also have lots of samples, and the store is always clean and nicely organized. I come here about every two weeks and always enjoy shopping here. The gas prices are good too! My only complaint is that the gas station area feels a little too small and doesn't have enough pumps compared to other Costco locations I've been to, like Monterey Park and City of Industry. It can get pretty crowded, especially during busy times. Other than that, I love this Costco!! read more

Looking for a couple of things and somehow always leaving with much more. It was a busy Sunday afternoon, but that's part of the fun. I usually prefer this location over the Alhambra one- the drivers here aren't as crazy lol. There are usually plenty of samples to try, which makes it easy to discover something new. The vegetable spring rolls are a favorite- crispy and convenient for dinner or feeding a crowd. The blueberry cheesecake croissant is SO good. They taste almost artisan-quality with a caramelized crust and $12.99 for 6 is such a steal. Also picked up the chargrilled chipotle seasoned chicken, which is awesome for tacos. Planning birthday parties are expensive, so I'm glad to have heard about Costco's new artisan sandwiches. You do have to order this in advance, but I think 24 hours is plenty. The sandwiches are actually really good. It serves about 20 for $50. You can also get gas here. They have a cafeteria section, but there's very limited seating. Overall a decent spot for bulk shopping. read more

No crazy drivers to deal with, no one who would fight me for a shopping cart, store is clean where aisles are wide and products are organized - I truly love it here! Many years ago, I had cancelled my Costco Business Membership to get one at Sam's Club because of the reasons listed above. I would still occasionally stop by a nearby Costco with my mom, but each visit would remind me of why I wouldn't want to go back. This used to be my local Costco until I moved years ago. This Costco is fine, I still still stop by if I'm in the area and need something from here. It's convenient that it's right off the 210. It carries everything I want and need. The only thing is I feel like the parking lot here is crazier than others, there's a lot of horn honking going on and the food court area outside is always congested, more so than other locations I've been to. Maybe it's the time or days I go... but just be prepared for a bit of chaos at this location. read more

No pumps sensor but you pnly have 2 pumps to see. 5/5 Service Didn't need any but there are workers wearing safety vests if you need them. The pumps have the QR code scanners. No cash just cards. Plastic is King here. 4/5 Likelihood to Return Yeah it isn't my forst choice but close to me so why not. When in the area Costco gas is always a good choice. Does Costco gets busy sometimes and overflow parking goes to outside of the parking lot they have a gas station and they are usually pretty busy it's hard to make a left turn so that area gets backed up a lot so be careful be mindful and watch out for those drivers that try to fight for parking spaces read more

Went today on June 6, food court is under construction. It is still as crowded as any Saturday. We needed up parking near Starbucks and walked over. Lots of samples on the weekends, around the afternoon it can be a hit or miss since most of them stop and clean up. The self checkout line will be someone pre scanning your car items so that once you get to the register you can scan your card and all the items are already there to pay! Super quick but you cannot buy alcohol and if you want to use any Costco credit card cash back it has to be at a staff checkout register. read more

This is a great Costco. I was able to find parking. The layout of the freezers reminds me of the Alhambra location. The free samples didn't start when I was there (maybe 11 am?). They have a variety of dried fruits, which is nice for a little road trip. Service was good. read more

This isn't my local Costco, but I've been in the area after a trip elsewhere or more usually I rent Turo cars out in Azusa more often than not, so this is the Costco that I'd stop by if that was the case (with a family member or friend who has membership of course). It's definitely much less hectic to go here even during the high traffic times (after work/on weekends) than it is to go to the Costco in City of Industry (my home Costco), which is quite nice and I always appreciate some peace and not as much chaos as I peruse the massive warehouse style store. Even the gas lines aren't a giant fisting cluster here, despite having a line as per usual (though it's nice that I don't have to worry too much and plan going super after hours). Stock is good, found everything that we needed and left with some things we did not lol. read more

I came in here to buy a few things, it's July 3 and as you can imagine, the story is full of people. I had two items in my hand and a lovely lady called. Shakira came up to me and in order to help move the lines pushed me towards the side of the self checkout where I was helped by another cashier. They're really trying to push people through as it's so busy but the service and Customer Service is always as good here. I was just totally taking her back that I was in line for not too long given I only had a couple of items. I really appreciate Shakira for looking out. Excellent customer service and support. I could be wrong but this store feels smaller than most other Costco stores. As a result, the Susie's here feel smaller and much tighter when you have multiple customers pushing shopping carts in opposite directions. It does feel as though shopping here it a little more challenging than other locations but eventually, you be walking out the front door a happy camper and after your receipt has been reviewed and approved by store employees. read more

Love this location! In comparison, I was born and raised in Los Angeles, so everything that doesn't take 1-2 hours is an upgrade. It's fairly easy to find parking. They have friendly staff. Gas is always more affordable here than any other gas station. The tire center is super easy to book for an appointment. I can usually find anything I need here. They have a wider selection of vacuums here than my local Costco (Moreno Valley). Highly recommend! read more

I moved and this is now my closest costco. The parking is great and its easy to find spots fast. The lines for hotdogs are considerably shorter than other locations like the Alhambra one. The issue is this costco has a horrendous gasoline station layout. It's way too close to the parking area and people refuse to fill into the center lanes. This creates a huge congestion in two entryways. Otherwise, this costco also stocks a good variety of products. read more

Had some really great service here today at the Costco meat section. I was looking into the refrigerated meat section when Berto, one of the butchers came over and asked if he could help me find anything. I told him my Dad wanted some lamb chops . He told me if there is any in the back, he would cut up some chops for us and to come back in ten minutes to pick them up. We came back and he had them wrapped up and ready to go. This location does not seem as crazed as other locations, so that is a plus. My go-to store since it's so close to my house, I feel the vibes from the other shoppers and lines are less hectic than the Alhambra location. Just gas is reason enough to get membership, cheaper than the other stations in town and reliable. Also their rotisserie chicken, only $5 for a large, well seasoned and cooked to fork tender... this item will last 3-4 days of meals. Try not to come on a weekend, if you can get off work early on a weekday and come it's more than tolerable. Samples are always fire and the quality of products they carry is stellar, the downside is that everything is bulk so if you don't have a lot of space for store in your place you might need to play Tetris. The Costco app is easy to use and you can pull up your membership card there to scan so it's one less card to carry in your wallet. Plenty of parking in the lots just be patient with pedestrians. read more

Clear aisles calm clerks and their sample people are the sweetest my mother's all time favorite is the Armenian breads and delicacies 3 for a little less than 18 and the man doing the demos had great recipe suggestions. Came on Friday around 2pm no lines and shopped within 40 minutes. Must have been luck. This Costco is always busy. I think my wife and I go to much because one of the people who gives out samples recognizes us all the time. Today she wanted to know why I didn't bring my wife, I told her so I can get her samples too. Saw the cheesecake everyone is trying to make go viral and it's cool. But looks like overkill. This was my usual go to for 7 years while living in the area almost 20 years ago. Back then, you had to work for certain companies in order to be a member. This location is where my membership started in 2000. We were visiting the area and stopped for gas. Glad to still have the same membership to take advantage of Costco gas prices. read more

I came to this Costco Tire Center for a tire check-up and was the first person in line, standing on the yellow line. While I was waiting in line to be the next one, a bunch of people showed up and ignored the line, walking straight to the counter. The employee named Erik kept ignoring me, despite me being there first. He failed to organize the line or instruct customers to follow the proper procedure. I was incredibly frustrated. Thankfully, another worker, Edith, showed up later. She actually observed the area and recognized that I had been standing there first. She corrected the situation and got me checked in. Management needs to train employees like Erik to handle crowds better. Edith is a superstar and saved my experience, but Erik's inability to manage the line was unacceptable. read more

8/17/24 Tried every which way to locate this Costco gasoline on Yelp but couldn't. My location is ON. Am I missing something? There has to be a review for this Costco gas! In any case after my annoyance & disappointment, I would say if in the area we would fuel up here. Thankfully it's on the way to our destination AND it's cheaper than Montclair's Costco gasoline at $3.79/gas versus $4.05 at Montclair. It makes a digestive when you fuel up every 2-3 days. The entrance to the fuel pumps is off of Todd St and it tends to bog down when the lines are long, some going to the wholesale shop instead of the gas station. The logistics here are not as efficient although I saw two attendants minding the lines, too. A customer tried to cut in front of the gas line & the attendant redirected that person towards the back of the line. read more

I usually go to Chino Hills Costco, which appears to be well run. I came to Azusa this evening, waited in line at self checkout longer than I should have and found that only 3 of 6 self checkouts were open (they had plenty of employees in the store). I mentioned this to the self checkout lady and the excuse I got is that she was the only one at self checkout (she said it in a way that came off as an attempt to legitimize only having 3 of 6 self checkouts open). So i challenged that attempt 3 times, and 3 times she made the same attempt to excuse this stores poor checkout performance with a staffing excuse that we all know is rooted in mismanagement of employees. As I'm showing my receipt at the door, I could hear a male employee say, "We're out of here at 9 oclock!". At closing, employee focus must be getting the remaining customers checked out asap, not straightening the shelves, with customer checkout a tertiary focus. I'll also add that checkout lady was just plain dismissive and it's been a pleasure writing this review as exposition of her demeanor. read more

I think I found a Costco that doesn't look like a zoo in the afternoons, this one in the city of Azuza is a great find! I think this place is well organized and the staff here is super friendly. Talked to one of the workers that said her coworker has been working here for 40 years!! That's some loyalty for sure but she will be returning this year. The items here are almost all similar to the many other Costco, I just like how it isn't so packed and jammed with a ton of people. Came here I bought two brooms and a pan for $9.99! That's such a good deal. I also bought two soups for $8.00. Also got some grapefruit cups, can't wait to try those out! I like this location because when Los Feliz downtown have it they do :) I will say thay they are super packed all the time but I think that's all Costco stores!!
