This is not about COstco products, they are OK. It is they allow scam operation in their store. Their AT&T stand inside the store is full of lies, they claimed that they would offer competitive price and Costco gift cards if you switch the phone/internet service provider to AT&T. You may think you got a good deal, new phones, competible services with great price and Costco gift cards, wrong! Not only my cellphone services had not properly ported for more than a week, but also, suprisingly, I was blindly "signed up" a home appliance insurance, which I was had never heard of, the "first responder" discount was not there as promised, all the services much higher priced than competiters, my monthly bill was almost trippled, totally liar!! It took me almost a month to restore my family and my phone service with my old provider, and took me weeks to esculate and dispute their false charges, that the AT&T services had never been rendered! Costco, please remove AT&T sales booth from your store, stop them from continuously lying to the members, they did nothing good, but ruin your reputation! read more

Bolingbrook Costco is my new favorite Costco! I'm always certain I will find items here that my store doesn't carry or remove from stock much too soon. I was looking for the Woozoo 360 pedestal fan and Bolingbrook had a boatload of them left --after my store got rid of them months ago. Over the winter they kept a nice stock of my favorite vintage Port wine. So yeah, Bolingbrook Costco, I love you. This used to be "my" warehouse before I started going to the Naperville location --over a decade ago. Funny how time flies, when you're having fun. Visiting here recently, reminded me of how massive this location is. The aisles are nice and wide and I was jealous because my current warehouse could never -- because of the small footprint. It's nice being able to move through aisles without playing bumper carts. There are some nice folks working here and it's nearby IKEA. Win-win! Right? Wrong. Make sure you have room in your car for your haul as l've witnessed people standing outside scratching their head - wondering how the new 82" will fit alongside the muffins and apple pie. Costco has a really good frozen and bakery selection. Their fruit selection, at least at this location is a bit sparse compared to Sam's Club in Joliet which has more of a selection. Overall a good place to buy in bulk. read more

This CostCo had a great selection. I was able to get some food here I enjoyed. It looked like they typically had good produce here. The store was spacious, and they have a large parking lot. I was grateful for self checkout kiosks. read more

This is my 2nd go to Costco if the one in Orland Park doesn't work out. Somehow the optical department in the Orland Park location failed to support our service needs, and a call to Costco Corporate said to try another location and they called this location to make sure. BUY HARD Come out to Costco, we'll get together, have a few laughs...... This wholesale goods juggernaut is right off of I-355 & Boughton, in Bolingbrook. It's easy to get overwhelmed by the store's 125,000 sq ft of wide open space, but I've found it's easiest to slowly work your way clockwise, starting at produce and ending at the freezer section. It's busy any time of day, though the staff keeps things moving so there's rarely a line at checkout. The liquor aisles are stocked with a large assortment of beer, wine, and spirits. I picked up a 24pk of Michelob Ultra (12oz cans) for $17 and a case of Two Brothers (12oz craft bottles) for $24. Kirkland's award-winning vodka is a close relative of Grey Goose, and you can get 1.75L of this stuff for only $27......welcome to the party, pal! Milk comes in those weird gallons with the off-center lid--it's not much cheaper than at ALDI or Meijer. You can get a 35ct of diet Coke for $14 (this comes out to 40¢ per can). While stocking up on human consumables, we usually pick up a few months' worth of cat food and kitty litter for Lana, our feline Queen of Thieves. Food court options vary depending on location, though you can always count on pizza for $1.99/slice, as well as the $1.50 hot dog combo (footlong + fountain drink). Remember to ask for condiments if you're planning on eating in your car. The first few times I visited this Costco, they didn't offer the chicken bake, but now it looks like they do, so I'm not sure what the deal is. Basic membership is $60/year. We upgraded to the executive membership ($120/year) at the insistence of a staff member, who explained that we'd get an additional 2% cashback in the form of a check at years' end. I'm not entirely convinced that this is the best option, however, since we'd need to spend a total of $3,000 annually at Costco to break even on the "upgrade". We might've gotten duped. * TL;DR * Who said shopping in bulk wasn't an action packed adventure? It might not have as many grenades and gunfire as your typical outing from the baldheaded hero, but the savings will surely have you saying "yippee ki yay". Seasonal items (like skeletons and Christmas trees) are gone just as quickly as they arrive, so if something tickles your fancy, buy it. Our buddy John McClane can get a big box of gauze for his bloody feet, and, thanks to Costco's service/installation department, the Nakatomi Building can replace all their shattered glass on the 33rd floor (there's a lot of it). Grab an XL box of Twinkies in the snack aisle for loyal patrolman Al Powell, too! Costco is pretty legit. Perhaps this review is destined for a sequel...... read more

We're from southern Illinois but ended shopping here. Beware the lot is always full and customers do not respect putting carts back and damage is caused. it must be a frequent thing at this location because they have signage stating it, see the pic's. Park at your own risk and I parked far out. Otherwise the store is clean and well maintained but on this visit to save a few bucks it cost me way, way more. It's Costco...The membership prices are almost understandable to me now! I can't wait for them to return to Samples and demos...Their Rotisserie Chicken is simply the best at $4.99...Plenty of Champagne, Red and White wines all at or below regular store prices. Look for the savings stickers, Buy in bulk and save more. Prices ending in .97 are closeout, so stock up on your favorite wines when you can. Found everything I was looking for and the staff is very polite - even the free sample folks are pleasant. Bathrooms are clean, soap in dispensers and towels and blow dryer both available. Food court wasn't busy and my order came out as soon as I placed it on the kiosk. Overall good store. Every time, when I visited this place, I've been getting a great experience.Thanks to the entire staff for doing a great job during these tough times and thanks for keeping everyone safe with masks on. read more

Normally, I just reviews restaurants. But I have to give credit where credit is due. Costco has the best St. Louis style ribs. Fair price, big, and meaty. I ALWAYS have more than enough. I even share with my neighbors! If you know how to BBQ them (or in my case smoke them) you will be BBQ King for at least a day :-) read more

If you don't know, Costco is a warehouse store requiring a membership that sells large size items or items by the case. I find enough items in sizes I can use that justify a membership for a two person household plus some things I buy for my business. One can bring a guest and get items rung up separately but one can't give one's card to another person to use by themselves. Non members CAN buy prescriptions at the pharmacy they just pay a little more. The prices are often the best in my area plus the Costco price can sometimes be cheaper than using insurance. The pharmacist are busy but they will always take time to answer questions. If only one Pharmacist is on duty in the early afternoon, you may have to wait about one half hour until they return from lunch. They also give the usual vaccinations. There is a limited menu snack bar with the famous $1.50 hotdog and refillable soda. Basic cheese and cheese with pepperoni pizza is available by the slice or whole. A chicken Caesar salad is a bit overpriced but pretty good. Soft serve ice cream is available plain, with chocolate or strawberry topping for about $2.50. Costco sells a limited selection of basic clothing very reasonably priced. There are no changing rooms. My Costco has a pretty good selection of beer, wine and liquor. Gas is usually a few cents cheaper. Batteries and tires are sold and installed. Across from the "tire store" are free, self serve air pumps. Costco has a generous return policy. If you don't have your receipt, they can find the item through your membership. The Costco Kirkland brand is very good quality. My biggest complaint is that aisles are not marked and some items are moved around. One has to search for an employee. When found they are very helpful. Bags are not available. It's bring your own or grab some used display boxes. A personal story: I had an injury that required me to use a walker. I wasn't getting enough exercise and my stride wasn't normal so I took my walker to Costco put it into the cart; using the cart for support I added trips up and down many additional aisles to my regular shopping gaining several thousand extra steps to my day. Costco gained because I bought things I didn't know they stocked. This only worked on weekdays between 2-4 when they were less busy. Covid is still around! Bring back cart wipes and hand sanitizer. I miss the "Kirkland" beach towel. It was bigger, cheaper and longer lasting than their current ones. read more

Came to this Costco right now since I had some free time off work. I'm surprised I haven't visited this Costco ever yet. Anyway I came here coming to get a few things and turned into a three hour fiasco spending spree. They are already on top of Christmas stuff too! There's less free sample employees here than others. By far one of the most quietest locations ever and this place was packed! Food Court was awesome, the checkout line moves fast. I'm surprised they didn't accept MasterCard which explains the other times I went to various Costcos, it wouldn't work and wasn't my cards fault. Ample amount of parking, there's not alot of boxes here in the bin if you use those, especially on my visit. Water bottle machine is only a quarter! The store is clean and well stocked and has all your departments BUT doesn't sell cigarettes. read more

I just recently went to this grocery store to buy groceries and also look for appliances and other household items. I did not have any problems with the groceries, and I really like how everything is nice and fresh, especially the produce, meats, and the like. I went to the store mainly because I wanted to look for a burner gas grill for some reason. I was really not going to buy it and I was just trying to check it out to see if it is available here and also if the prices are good. I was really glad how the staff helped me when I asked for it, like where it is located inside, the price, and the things about the particular burner gas grill I liked to check. After thinking and knowing the price, I ended up buying it since it is reasonable and it really seems like a great choice considering its quality and everything. It was not my intention to really buy it, but thanks to the staff who helped me, I realized that it was a great deal. I like their customer service. I did not forget to buy gas, and their prices are definitely better than anywhere I could ever think of. read more

Stopped in the store because was in the area. Store parking is a joke, as the layout causes constant traffic jams and this store is extremely busy. Located the item I was purchasing and waited 20 minutes in the self check line. Then went in the next line at order pickup for another 10 minutes. Turns out, after waiting another 10 minutes that the product I purchased was sold out. Staff was rude, arrogant, and slow. Got my refund but no remorse for horrible experience. read more

Allow time ~ that is the best advice one can offer. It is usually a madhouse and the parking lot can be hazardous to your car. However, park a distance away and you will be okay. So, the carts are HUGE to hold all your purchases. They offer monthly specials and some of them are really good. But, I really do not like that the aisles are not labeled. There is no rhyme or reason to the layout, so you are left to wander to buy things that you originally did not come to purchase. Checkout lines are usually long, but there is usually someone to help you unload your cart so they move rather quickly. Of course, your items are put back in your cart individually after being scanned. Also, they DO NOT accept Amex or Mastercard. They could use an express lane, just saying. read more

Bought whole set of Michelins tires in May 2021 at Ft Myers Costco. Thought it was a good idea because warranty would be honored at any Costco. Warranty is pretty useless. Tire got a side puncture and they won't repair side puncture. Told them I wanted a new tire. Was told they didn't have any of those tires and would put the spare donut on!! I told them to get one from Michelin. They said they had to get one from another Costco! The closest one they could find was in San Francisco CA!! They would ship it but don't expect it before a week!! Then I have to pay the difference in price cause they're not on sale!! I only have one car. They told me I had to come back after 25 miles for a safety check on the lug nuts and I can't drive more that 50 miles on the donut!! So what am I supposed to do in the meantime?? I go here several times a month and I can't rate it any less than 5 stars. I get everything I need here-- from groceries, home goods, furniture, clothing, etc. On weekdays, the samples start coming out around 11:30 to 12:00 noon (ending about an hour later) and again at 3:00PM (the last people are usually gone by 5:00PM). I avoid coming here on weekends because it's too crazy (especially the line for gas)! Costco has the most generous return policy and they always have great sales going on. Plus it's so fun being able to try something new risk-free. I have the executive membership plus the Costco credit card so I get even more back in rewards! It's great having hundreds of dollars given back to me in a check each year-- another reason why a Costco membership is worth it on top of the low prices and amazing products! read more

Great neighborhood Costco. I love coming here to buy things in bulk because it is cheaper. The food is amazing, they have tons of samples throughout the day. I'd also suggest the food court because the food there is delicious and cheap, a hard to find balance. Just keep in mind that you might have to wait about 20 minutes for pizza. I have been a member of Costco for at least a decade. Today I went in to renew my membership, which I had allowed to lapse. As an Executive-level member, I had a rebate for the previous years purchases plus an additional credit. I asked to apply my rebate and credit to my membership renewal, and I was given a hard time despite being advised by a representative of the 800 customer service that it wouldn't be a problem. In the end, they did apply the rebate and credit, but it took an inordinate amount of time and discussion. I'm giving them 2 stars as they claim to be all about customer service and, in this case, they fell short. read more

The best Costco Warehouse that I have ever been to! Costco's get pretty crazy but this staff also helps you check out faster. They seem to be always improving and applying LEAN fundamentals. They have 6 self serve payment kiosks now as well as 3 self serve payment kiosks for the cafeteria! Parking is great, service and quality are top notch and customer service is fantastic! Costco always have many deals but what keeps making me come back to them is their food court because the prices are always cheap and based on online reviews it's because the prices remained the same since the 80s. Therefore it is a classic! They usually have really good deals with their gaming laptops as well and I would check often to snag up deals if a gaming laptop is in your wishlist. read more

My brother and I went here with a list of 2-3 things we wanted to get. We ended up leaving with nearly a cart full of goods!! This Costco was very well stocked and well maintained. We saw so many good things in here that we wanted! We arrived at 9:38am, and the flood-gates of people were already going in when they had just opened 8 minutes earlier! The Optical Dept. at this particular Costco is 5 Stars. My family and I moved closer to the Naperville location but still drive to the Bolingbrook location for our eye care needs. My daughter had a problem with an eye glass order and Amy in the Optical Dept. went above and beyond the call of duty to help meet her needs. We ended up ordering 2 new pairs instead of the first ones that should never have been ordered in the first place. The costs for eyeglasses and contacts can add up esp. if everyone in the family need them so I recommend Costco in Bolingbrook to save yourself some money and get quality assistance. read more

Tanner is an absolutely terrible 'supervisor'. Came up to my boyfriend at checkout yelling with an attitude saying he's going to put a "block" on our card. Just because his mother was not in the store with us. Yes we understand the situation but the way he came about it was absolutely ridiculous, uncalled for and humiliating. Literally yelling for no reason at the register. Honestly Avoid this man if you see him in the store. Hopefully he learns how to treat people correctly. Won't be shopping here again read more
