I couldn't be happier with the tires we purchased for our cars. Costco does a great job. Affordable. Great all season tires that are pre-siped. We purchased ours in the fall during the time their times were on sale, also included a discount for the installation. Includes coming back in a week for them to check on bolts. read more

Usually always a great experience, but today, unfortunately, there was a major lack of social distancing inside and the store was very crowded. Seems Costco is not limiting capacity despite Spokane County still being in phase 2 during the COVID pandemic. On a Saturday, there should be waiting line to get in, but not today. While Costco employees can't entirely monitor how customers are doing with maintaining distance from other household groups, there could be staff around to help prevent crowding in the produce cooler area. And limiting the overall capacity at one time would go a long way toward preventing crowded area. Now is not the time to get complacent with public health guidelines. read more

Hadn't been here for a while and since I've been diagnosed with Celiac disease. So we decided to go and see what options they had to offer and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. They had multiple bread options, tons of snacks, dressing, sauces, seasonings, even pizza. And I didn't even get to look through the whole place! We have been customers at the Sprague Costco ever since they opened and this trip we made today was the worse service from the guys that boxed our groceries. My husband is 86 a disabled Veteran and has had both shoulders replaced and one reversed. Lifting for him is very difficult and I at 73 don't have a lot of strength so we always tell them to please box the groceries lighter then normal. I stepped up and explained this to the guy boxing and what he did was totally uncalled for. We bought almost $400.00 in groceries and he put them in two boxes and set the boxes fitting across the basket so the only way to possibly get them out was to lift them straight up and over the basket. It took both us struggling to do this and in the process my husband ripped the skin off the top of his hand which doesn't seem like much unless you're on blood thinners and then it's a real problem. I went back into Costco for bandaids and to say something to customer service. When I told the young lady she did give me two bandaids looked at my Costco receipt and said she was sorry but didn't say she would let anyone even know about this incident.. If you go into Costco and need your boxes packed light double check before you go to your car. A few will say you can ask for help to your car but remember they don't come home with you. If they would pack them a little lighter some of us won't need them to help us to our car and will allow us our Independence as we get older. BV read more

The employees here care! They are all helpful and kind. I had an adverse situation happen, where when loading up my items into my car, my car key got caught on the cart and bent. I couldn't start my car with it. Every employee was helpful. The cart guy referred me to who to talk to for help, the door person watched my items up front, and the electronics employees let me charge my phone to make a phone call and directed me to their supervisor. Then the supervisors used their resources on hand to actually bend my key back into place! It worked! My car started. Everyone was very accommodating and aided in decompressing a stressful situation. I have been a Costco member since 1996. I have been to a lot of other locations across the country and I must say that our Spokane location is the best on around. When I lived in Winter Park, FL there was a Costco just down the street from my house across from my College, and it didn't even come close to this one, but on a side note every time I would be filling up with gas one of the attendants would as ask me where I was from in Washington because of my plates on my truck and when I would tell them they would ask if it's true on how busy our Costco is and if it's as awesome as the rumors they've heard.....and I always laughed and told them it was like being Charlie in the Chocolate factory. read more

Good location and definitely off of the regular downtown area. I did notice a lot of the products they were selling are mostly organic and or carry the Kirkland signature name. Pretty pricey since the last time i have gone into a Costco but, hey you've seen one you've seen them all. I go into Costco maybe once a month to purchase my groceries for our family and on occasions when i really feel on splurging on a home decor/cleaning item. I like the clothing that they sell, iv'e purchased clothing items from Costco in the past and they have lasted me a good while. read more

I agree, it is your typical Costco. I've found good buys and they have a good return policy for electronics. Don't go in there expecting expert advice. Do your homework first, shop at the other big box stores and THEN come here for the prices. Excellent location and service as well as great Costco products. I learned one time that Costco specializes in getting the very best brand of each kind of product rather than many products, and I'm almost always satisfied even if it's something I haven't tried before. Yes, I'm an official member of the Cult of Costco. Some family favorites: the Yakisoba frozen noodles (great for lunches); red lentil hummus with corn relish; salads; very fresh fish of all kinds; torta rolls; eggs, butter, and milk; Kirkland almonds; and Dave's Killer Bread. Raspberries. Chocolate coconut almonds. Everything is good. Two minor issues: 1) Always check the box if you're getting electronics (a camera, an iPod, etc.). I've been given an empty box twice. 2) One of the cashiers at customer service addresses women as "young lady," which if you're older than 12, you completely hate. Costco, can you do a training to let the cashiers know that this is demeaning? read more

I tried to like Costco today. I really did. If the parking lot doesn't do me in, the mindless cart traffic will. But today I put on my big girl panties and did my least favorite errand, going to Costco. I survived the war zone that was the parking lot. I dodged getting ht by a car that actually didn't care that I was in the crosswalk. I made it safely into the store and began my mission when I saw her. The pariah. The shark. The woman who pounced on me before I had 10 steps into the store. "Do you pay for tv service?" Didn't matter that she was nice. I don't like being approached by salespeople or solicitors. I'm weird. I don't care. But it happened at the north side location too with cell phone salesman hovering and pouncing on shoppers as they entered the store. No more Costco. I'm already spending a small fortune each time I go and I don't appreciate pushy pariahs the second I walk in. Buh bye Costco. read more

Just buying gas at Costco will more than likely pay for the membership over the course of a year. However, the fantastic return policy just made it worthwhile for me. I had purchased a battery for one of our cars. It came with a replacement warranty for 4 years. It died just under 3. I brought it in and was given a new one on the spot. No hassles. No pro rated refund. Plus, the original price of the battery was 1/3 less than the auto parts store. Add in all the good deals on food and this place is awesome. read more

Costco on sprague always has what I am looking for at affordable prices. When their products break they always exchange or refund.

Costco is one of our favorite family outings. (Don't worry, we don't bring a gaggle of kids to irritate you and get in everyone's way.) The customer service is miles ahead of most ppaces. I absolutely love Costco. Buying in bulk is my thing and their produce and bakery area is great too! I manage to somehow fit bulk sized products in my small apartment and yes it is worth it. Also their muffins are delicious and I have to force myself to not buy them everytime. The downside is since Costco is so awesome it is always busy (reason for 4 out of 5 stars instead of 5 out of 5) and goodluck getting a sample of naan bread with shredded meat on it, you would be waiting hours. Costco is a staple to my grocery shopping and helps me save so much money. I love it! read more

DO NOT have your 8 mm home movies done through Costco. It is obvious that whoever did the video transfer, just put them on and didn't adjust the focus on the projector. Some of it is horribly blurry. I paid over $150 for very amateur results. read more

Treated like a thief! My daughter and I have a Business account with Costco. Have for years! This time my daughter goes in to save me time because I am a single mother and work 6 days a week to feed my family. She offered to save me some time and get the market list for me. The cashier was very rude but she rung her up and finished the transaction than asked my daughter if the card was her card after the fact that the transaction was done. My daughter was treated like a criminal as the cashier screamed for her supervisor not once but four times so loudly it caused attention from many patron in the store. What happen to customer service? Could you ask her if she was on the account? What happen to taking an interest and not a position? Would have found she is a customer already. WOW! I will be telling many people about this and spread the word to others as I do have a clientele business who would love to hear about this experience. read more

When shoping at any large store you have to be a smart shopper. Costco produce is by far the worst. When you purchase Costco produce make sure to really check it out. Turn over the tomatoes, grapes and whatever else you can and check the "hidden" bottom for rot as a lot of it is sold that way, and usually you don't find out until you get home, and usually not for a couple of days. They sell these items as is because their CEO's know a consumer, "YOU", more likely then not will just throw the rotten produce away rather than drive all the way back to costco and stand in line for a couple of dollars in refunds. REMEMBER Costco is a large "'corporation" out to make money, and they know for a fact that if they sell you sub par products you will just throw it away. Then they make money getting rid of rotting produce. Really, really, think about it!!! They're there to make money, not you happy! This is the second set of tires I have purchased from Costco's tire department @ the E Sprague location. The price is competitive and with the $70 rebate a good deal. Their other fees are less compared to other tire dealers and Tirerack.com. So I purchased a new set of tires on Thursday and that following Monday, one of the tires was completely flat. Turns out a chuck of glass was embedded in my new tire! Costco said to drop off the tire ( I had the inflatable spare tire on). A few hours later they called to say the tire could not be repaired, so a new one was needed. The new tire would be in the next day & I could have the tire put back on that evening since I worked all day. Not only did they replace that tire under the road hazard warranty, but they also deflated my spare tire and put it back in the trunk compartment. How is that for quick service? This unfavorable review is for the Tire Center. It is awful. Always a long line, long wait, bad service, but if you buy tires there, they offer a warranty, right? Well as soon as you buy your tires, should something go wrong, tire going flat, etc.. they want you to set an appointment for a few days later or wait for 3-4 hours to 'possibly' get into the rotation. Seriously? They won't fix a tire going flat unless you wait several hours and then maybe not?? This is the kind of service they provide. Two thumbs down. read more
