This review is specifically on the Costco food court at the wilsonville Costco. I'm a big fan of the Costco food court system. Grab a pizza for dinner after you do all your shopping. This is the first really bad experience I've had with a Costco food court and this is not my normal Costco. I called ahead and pre-ordered my pizza. When I paid for my pizza. I also ordered two mocha freezes and a strawberry frozen yogurt. The food court staff did not put the lid on the mocha freeze and for whatever reason thought this was a coyote ugly experience and slid the mocha freeze across the counter with such Force. It went right off the counter and all over myself and my son. Wall covered in sticky sugar, the food court staff just stood there watching us. A random 7-year-old had to go and get paper towels so I could try to not track mocha freeze all over. The food court staff immediately asked if I would want them to remake the one they threw at me. I was beyond confused and told them I have to go to the bathroom to wash out my shoes and pants now. As I was able to catch one of the mocha freezes. The food card staff told me they would put it in the refrigerator To which I'm thinking you will remake my order. When I come back. After trying to remove all of the mocha freeze in the bathroom, we came back and had to wait in line as they were very confused that we still wanted our order. They finally gave us our pizza which they made wrong and told us we would have to go to the end of the queue if we wanted to get the pizza we ordered. A. At which point a manager was called over to try to assist in the situation. She told me she would watch the video feed later and wanted to know what she could do to help. I said I would like my food but since it's not ready I would like a refund. She then said she would give us a gift card but that would take too much time and the next time we come to just ask for her? Everything about the situation was weird. She then tried to get a refund on my $17 order but was unable to. Eventually she handed me $10 cash to try to fix this mistake. I was still covered in mocha freeze. The order was wrong. And I will not be getting food from this Costco food court again. read more

This Costco Pharmacy always leaves me with a bad taste due to the lack of communication and the poor customer service. The excuses of "oh we had a lot of sick calls today, so your medication hasn't been filled yet", then changing the story to "we had to order this medication in", yet the pharmacist the night before never stated the medication needed to be ordered in... keep in mind I was told it would be ready the night before by the pharmacist within an hour. So when I waited until the next day to pick it up, and I was told "it wasn't ready and wouldn't be ready for quite awhile" it was upsetting, and the cashier wasn't friendly about it, she just made excuses. Instead of making an effort to get it done, I felt like I was inconveniencing them just by being there. I'd go elsewhere and believe me I've looked into it, if the costs for 1 medication weren't such an enormous difference everywhere else. While I understand the day in day out dealing with customers can kill a persons soul. I do my best to remember how awful people can be and I try to be polite, respectful, and courteous for that very reason. A little communication without excuses and an attitude can go a long way. Maybe trying to put a rush on items that should have been ready prior to incoming rx would help too when a person comes to pick the prescription up, maybe prioritize those rx first. read more

I had a very unpleasant interaction with the pharmacy today. I did not find their customer service to be very pleasant or efficient. I was told that they could not fill an order 7 minutes before the 1 hour pharmacy "lunch break" even though the exact medication was in the pharmacy technician's hand. She said it would take more than 7 minutes to create my account so I would have to come back in an hour and 7 minutes at the least. Needless to say, I did not want to sit around the store for that long. I had not seen a sign indicating that the lunch break was 130-230. At Walgreen's in Wilsonville the lunch break is a mere 1/2 hour. read more

I love this Costco! While parking can be a bit of a challenge, one can always find a space. The store is always clean, the staff is always friendly, and I feel that this store has less of a line upfront than any of the others in the area. Customer Service lacks This Costco is always busy. I don't have any issue with stocking items and what items they carry, but my issue is with customer service. Cassandra works at customer service and didnt treat me like a valued customer. I stood in line behind this woman with a cart who apparently was just waiting for her husband being helped at returns. This other woman comes up next to me asking if we were in line, and I explained to her I didn't know what was going on and stood behind this woman waiting to be helped at customer service-memberships. While I was conversing with the lady next to me, Cassandra calls the next person in line up to memberships area. She made eye contact with me before motioning to the lady next to me telling her she's next. I walked up and explained to Cassandra I got here before the lady next to me. She didn't believe me and said she was talking to the lady, and I told her "so was I, I got here before she did and she knows." So that set the tone for the rest of the interaction. I just wanted to cash my membership reward certificate. While explaining my transaction, she had a tone asking for my membership card. Then she counted the cash and said "there you go, have fun." She actually shorted me 3 cents, but I wasn't going to continue debating with her over pennies. I wanted to leave. I want management to talk to her. She needs to check security footage if she doesn't believe me. She needs to check her attitude and learn how to count cash. read more

This is strictly for the food court I recently visited the Costco Wholesale Wilsonville Food Court and had a very disappointing experience that needs to be addressed. We placed a fairly large order that included two hot dog combos, two slices of pepperoni pizza, a blended coffee drink, a chicken bake, and a whole pepperoni pizza. Before ordering, we were told the wait time for the whole pizza would be about 15 minutes, which we were completely fine with. However, after placing our order, we asked if it would be possible to receive the rest of our items first so we could feed our kids while waiting for the whole pizza. Unfortunately, Jennifer (food court employee) responded very rudely and told us we would have to wait until the entire order was complete. There was no effort to accommodate a simple and reasonable request. We then spoke with another employee he had longer hair, was wearing a green shirt and hair net, and did not have a name tag. He was also dismissive and unhelpful, simply saying they were "working on it." After waiting over 19 minutes with no food at all, I sent my partner to ask again. At that point, Daniel stepped in and finally provided us with the rest of our order (minus the whole pizza), which is what we had initially requested. This shows it was possible all along. The issues didn't stop there. When we went to the condiment station, everything was empty. I asked Jennifer if they could refill it she said yes, but nothing was done. After waiting a few more minutes, I asked if there were ketchup or mustard packets available instead, and she said no. I then asked the same unnamed employee for help. He went to the back, came out, and said it would be "a minute." After continued delays, I asked if I should find someone else to help, and he actually told me I could go ask someone else in the store. That level of customer service is completely unacceptable. At that point, I asked for a manager and went to the supervisor desk, where I was helped by Megan. She was absolutely exceptional. She listened, apologized sincerely, provided employee names, and personally went back to the food court to resolve the situation. She refilled the condiments herself, cleaned the area, and even swept the floor. She went above and beyond and completely turned around what had been a very frustrating experience. By the time everything was resolved, we had been waiting approximately 32 minutes not just for food, but for basic assistance. While speaking with Megan , several other customers nearby expressed that long wait times (35-50 minutes) are common at this food court, which is very concerning. This experience was unacceptable due to: * Rude and dismissive behavior from staff * Lack of basic customer service * Failure to provide ordered items in a reasonable timeframe * Poor maintenance of the condiment station I would strongly appreciate follow-up from management. I understand that Melisa oversees the food court and Eric manages the store either reaching out would be appropriate. I do want to emphasize that Megan's professionalism and willingness to step in did not go unnoticed. She is a great example of what customer service should look like. read more

It's a good place to come, even when it's busy there's not a long wait time. Everytime I walk into the store, I spend more than planned. This store has a large variety. This location seems bigger than most. I have been to Costco's in several states and a couple of countries. They all are the same. Big warehouses enticing me to shop and spend money. This has always been a good costco in the south metro part of portland. their prices and selection have always been wondering and they're about 25 percent less crowded than the NE portland location. Their gas prices also are about 15 cents cheaper than in Portland. read more

It's a smaller Costco but had a good selection of items I couldn't find at the Costco closer to my home. For example, I found some toum dip. That garlicky lemon deliciousness is hard to find at the other Costcos. However, with that said, they did not have grapeseed oil or the cape code potato chips that is carried in the other Costco stores. The parking lot is by far better then the one in Tigard. Easy to get in and out of and plenty of parking. I did go on a weekday so not sure what the weekends look like at this Costco. As per usual, everyone was pretty friendly at this Costco. read more

Costco's are all pretty much, well, a Costco. Same layout. Same products. Dangerous parking lots because people are in their own worlds. But a necessity for certain items that you can only get at Costco. For me, it's the Kirkland plastic wrap, one of my favorite must-have items! It actually sticks to anything and makes a true, air free cover. It's magic and I can not live without it! Then there is the rotisserie chicken. Crazy good and for $5 it feeds 8! When the Rao's Marinara Sauce and Sanders Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Covered Caramels go on sale, I'm there! The caramels cost $6 for a huge 36 ounce container. If you buy a tiny 3 ounce bag at a grocery store, they are $3.99. I don't even have a membership! Not worth it for me because it's too much of everything. But since there are some items I can only get at Costco, I go with a friend. All of my friends are members. The Wilsonville location is not my first choice simply because it's too far from my home. But after going to Tigard (I prefer the small footprint) with the intent of buying an aqua colored ceramic outdoor planter, but it had sold out since the day before, we ventured out to Wilsonville. They were sold out, too! Bummer. Lesson learned. Grab it while you see it, especially seasonal items. But of course I ended up finding items I had to have even though I needed nothing. Frozen wine pops? Oh, yea. Put them in the freezer in case summer 2022 decides to arrive. A 4 piece mixing bowl set with lids in shades of blue for $15? No way I could pass on those. And that Speedo bathing suit for $19.99 had to come home with me since I swim daily. Of course I bought the hot dog on the way out but unlike most, I don't eat it there. I like my hotdogs with some grill marks so I reheat it at home, pull out half the dough from the bun, then top the grilled hot dog with spicy mustard and baked beans. Yum! For $1.50, it's a bargain meal even though I give the cup away since I don't drink or want the free soda. Another day, a similar Costco experience. The big difference here is the size of the parking lot. It is much larger and not as many traffic jams since there are several aisles you can access and exit. We have been racially profiled by the greeters, the cashiers and self check out attendants EVERY SINGLE TIME WE SHOP THERE. Why tf do I need people checking my membership card at self check out? The other two white people in front of me were greeted with smiles and happily told where to go, and then when it was my turn the self checkout attendant STEPPED IN FRONT OF ME and rudely told me they needed to "verify my membership" like I would even be able to start using the self checkout kiosk without having a valid membership. I have been chased down by the door greeters multiple times in the past for "not showing my card", when I literally hold it up in front of my face as if I'm SpongeBob after finally getting my license. Other shoppers who witnessed both events even stood up for me because the old white lady was being SO RUDE for no reason. I work my ass off for my money, I've never stolen a single thing in my life, why on earth would I start a "life of crime" in a warehouse filled with cameras? ‍ Next time, I'm not above decking your employees at this location if this happens again, because I am FED up. This Costco is a little less crowded and less busy as the Costco over in Clackamas but it doesn't seem as big. The bakeries do offer different things as well. It's a clean store and well organized. No complaints there. Even the bathroom was clean and didn't have a line to wait for a stall. We did our shopping and only had 2 people in front of us in the checkout line. That's nice on a Saturday! We then walked over to the food stand and had lunch. For $1.50 you get a hot dog and a soda. How can you go wrong with that?! We also tried the chicken bake today. It was good but definitely doesn't beat the hotdog. I'll definitely shop here when I have a reason to be in the neighborhood but I won't make a special trip, 30 minutes further, just to come here. read more

You've seen one, you've seen them all, right? Well, in my opinion, all Costco's are not created equal. I've worked in Wilsonville for longer than I would like to admit, and in the early years it was slim pickings for stores and restaurants. You would not believe the shrieks of glee when we found out we were getting an actual retail center in town. Target, Petco, Pier 1, oh, my! Sad, I know. Well after years of going to the Tigard location, where parking was a nightmare and the lines horrendous, this location opened right in my backyard. It is fantastic. Plenty of parking and I don't think I've ever waited more than five minutes at the checkout line. The checkers are rock stars! They even added four self checkout kiosks. The downside is this is a place where you always seem to end up with four or five items that weren't on your list, but it is a small price to pay. Anyone want to split a vat of mayo? I'm bummed that they recently changed their electronics return policy, but that was really too good to be true. This is my go to place for meat, bread and snacks. And sometimes you just can't pass up that $1.50 hot dog. This place is also fantastic for digital photo developing. Love the web order system so I can place my order from home and the photos are ready to pick up when I finish my shopping an hour later. And don't get me started on the samples..... today it was sushi, pizza, ice cream, hot dogs, brie and bread w/balsamic vinegar & oil. This location also has a gas station, but the lines for gas always seem longer than the lines for food inside. read more

I under stand that the Warehouse model does not work right now, no curbside pickup for example. But being honest regarding capability when taking your money is only keeping with supposed customer service. Worst experience in any Costco I have been to out of the 11 locations I have visited. Jerri N. was the most unprofessional employee I have ever encountered. She called me over and then proceeded to walk away when I explained what I needed to take care of, not once but TWICE. Then rudely approached the counter again the second time throwing her hands up asking what we were doing as if I was holding up the transaction. Never buy tires there. They promise air checks anytime. I was due for neck surgery and asked if they would check and they said no use the self serve, absolute asses. Today I spent $900+ and they were to call when done, in about an hour. 1 1/2 hours passed, I checked, it was done 40 minutes ago, they didn't bother to call and didn't apologize when I called them on it. They installed tires, didn't clean them. Look like crap. For almost 1000 dollars no courtesy service for anything. They are complete asses. The customer service at this Costco is abysmal. My wife and son get treated like garbage and all they really care about is getting as many carts through the lines as fast as possible. Don't get in their way! Don't dare try to make the experience fun for your son. Today a Costco policy failed me. I'm super annoyed now that they won't give me a membership card for my 18 year old son so he can get gas. Really, only two slots for members? How can you not accommodate a family member. So I asked for a duplicate card for myself, and they told me NO. Really, if I just walked up and said I lost my card they would give me one. Poor service. They told me to buy a cash card and they would "probably" accept it from him without having a membership card. Get your act together. read more

Racist people work here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our family loved Costco up until about 4 weeks ago. My children and I were mocked by an older African American lady working at the sample station for Duke's pepperoni. She said she wanted to "speak" to me in my language and started mouthing off some derogatory sounds/words attempting to mimic the asian language. I complained to an assistant general manager name Mike about my experience. He apologized and said he would follow up with me. Guess what??? 4 weeks later and no follow up. I guess Mike and the Costco organization tolerate this behavior. Stay away from this Costco. They don't deserve any business!! I told all of my friends and colleagues about the event; they've encouraged me to go to the media and share my story to get the word out there. I LOVE COSTCO! However,, today i witnessed some of the laziest and poor behavior of Costco employees for the first time! This review is for the food concession only. Arrived here at 6:20pm and the store closes at 7pm. I checked the automated ordering system and all pizza options were blocked out, I go to ask the kid at the "OPEN" window and kindly ask if by any chance there are any available whole pizza. I get a snarkly response, "I'm sure what you see there is all that's here!" I walk over to check and see a pepperoni pizza that had 4 slices. I peak over to the conveyor belt oven and I see workers hurrying to clean as if they were trying to get out so early,, 40 minutes prior to the store closing.. Saturday night I suppose and these clowns have better things to do. It takes 10 to 15 minutes at most to make the pizza and I can clearly see the ingredients to make the pizza are all there visible to the public. The crew during 10/24 during the mentioned time above need lots of improvement to meet Costco standards and am hopeful Management look into this. read more

I'm your basic casual Costco user. I fill up the tank with their fine petrol products, I use the pharmacy because they are less expensive than anyone; anywhere! I also get lunch here quite often when picking up odds and ends. This is where the entire Costco experience solidifies itself into your grey matter, because something always happens to me via voyeurism or personal interaction while downing my dog and soda for $1.50. Today I noticed that the hot dog no longer states it is kosher, only All Beef. Alarm bells went off in this Jew's head. Could the economic downturn (being fueled by Progressivism and Government greed) be striking Costco in that they are looking for ways to save? I hesitated, but ordered the All Beef hot dog anyway as I pondered Petra L's vegan lifestyle as a possible alternative briefly before my first bite. The dog was okay, but what happened next I can only think was an avant garde floor show... A very large family of oriental or possibly Filipino ancestry sits down in the seats next to mine with two fully cooked chickens recently purchased at the Costco. A flock of children arrive with plastic Costco snack bar cutlery and two of the women start to carve and dismember the chickens with plastic cutlery! The kids just want to buy hot dogs, the womenfolk are determined to section the former cluckers. Thus started one long, loud scene that I will be forever getting out of my head. Last time I was here I decided to get a slice of pizza. Now a Costco pizza slice is about as big as your head and I was holding it flat eating my way from the point toward the crust. A seemingly nice woman sits down across from me, folds her pizza in half and starts to eat hers. I continued my balancing act when she smiles and says, "You should eat it Chicago style and fold it like this..." (demo follows) I smiled at the lady and said, "Ma'am, I am from Detroit and thus will never, ever do anything, Chicago style." The food is OK, I keep going back just to see what happens next. In the meantime I love my gasoline and pharmacy stops and occasionally enjoy buying 25lbs of Cheerios at a time. read more

It's Costco, so you sort of know what you're getting when you walk in the door. The layout is similar to most other Costcos, and on weekends the sample ladies are out in force, tempting you with their delicious wares. The parking lot is easy to navigate - I've always been able to find parking without a hassle. This location now offers a self-checkout line, which is AWESOME if you have only an armful of items and don't need special things like movie tickets or stamps. Heck, maybe you can get those items in that line, but I like to keep things moving so who knows. This location also has a gas station and while it can get busy at peak times, more often than not, there is no line and I can get in and out fast. Prices for gas are always the lowest around. One thing I wish they did that I've seen at other Costcos is to have a separate pickup line in the "cafe" - you pay for your items at the register when you're buying the TV or the 12-pack of muffins, and then go to a pickup line and present your receipt and get your hot dog or churro. That would be great if they could institute that - really speeds things up! read more

As the primary cook/shopper for a family of two, I am all too familiar with Costco. The good: I can get many household items and food in bulk. The bad: I can't seem to get out of here for less than $100, sometimes it's only for a few items. There are some regular items I stock up on: Dog food, bottled water, cheese, fresh vegetables, organic eggs, vitamins, paper towels, chicken, butter, cheese, meatballs, dishwasher detergent, beer, wine, etc. I have purchased bigger items too... An air mattress, tent, 2 TVs, printer, etc. When I have a big party or BBQ, Costco is my best friend. I usually plan my menu based on what I can get at Costco. The staff is great, their return policy is generous, and I like that I can grab a bite at the cafe. read more

There's no where else you can get a tire rotation (for free), shop for the 4th of july (at cheap prices), feed my son and I (for under $4), and get the cheapest gas ($3.38/gallon) all in about 2 hours!!! It was the day before the 4th of July and tons of people but they opened up extra lanes. I waited only a few minutes in line. The gas line was pretty ridiculous... but it still moved decently. If you don't want o wait in line you can go across the street to the 76 and the gas was actually selling for 1 cent cheaper!! $3.37/gallon (credit card prices), but you won't get 2% cash back as an executive member. Still get 4% (soon to be 3%) cash back if you have Costco American Express. I like the Tigard Costco slightly better but this one is about the same distance, has a gas station, and also have Target right across in the same plaza. read more
