The location is very small inside but had nice, outdoor, shaded tables. The barista was very kind and helpful. I ordered an iced Mayan mocha and it was decent. Good stuff! Boyfriend found this on Yelp after we got sick of the lines and watery coffee at Starbucks and it's always awesome to find a local nook and even better when they have good coffee. It is pretty small inside but has lots of character, lots of signage on the wall of local events, Cotati pride and the owner must love unicorns as there is almost every type of animal in there with a unicorn horn - love it! They serve pastries and even sell day-old pastries at a discount. Prices aren't bad, they offer 3 sizes and have a good mix of hot and cold options. The owner (I believe) is a really friendly woman who knows her stuff but is also just excited to have new people coming in. I mean, excellent coffee and service, so.... I mostly stick to things I know, like the Starbucks Nitro (can't beet the buzz it gives you, and only 5 calories?) but my preference is always to give my money to a local company rather than a chain, so often you will see me ordering a regular joe that I can doctor up, mostly because regular joe has more caffeine in it than does an espresso or a delicious high-calorie latte. It wouldn't be out of character for me to be carrying a pat of grass fed butter and coconut oil around for a bulletproof to be honest, but their condiments are just fine and I have no struggle getting a good satisfying cup of coffee here. read more

I absolutely love this little coffee shop. I would go every morning if I could! My favorite drinks are the Cotati Fog (an even better play on a London Fog) and their Creme Brulee Latte. The gals who work there are super nice and friendly as well as very speedy in helping me to get my caffeine fix any time of the day. They also have stamp cards so if you become a regular (like I have) then you receive a free cup after you pay for ten. The prices are good and they also have tons of different milk options for those of us who cannot consume lactose (I so appreciate this). I cannot say enough good things about this place! This place is unique. It is in funky downtown Cotati. There has been several owners over the last few years. Yet friendliness and quality have been consistent. Stopped here for the first time today, they had a variety of really interesting latte flavors like brown butter lavender, chocolate covered strawberry, and thin mint. Good customer service, barista was friendly and offered suggestions. The iced latte was good but it was served in a paper Solo cup which can get soggy if you take a long time to drink your coffee like I do. read more
