First time there got the carne asada fries the fries were over cooked felt like I was eating chips the meat was good they barely put any topping like the cheese or the sour cream but the food was edible on another hand the cashier was legit an a** I went drive they she took forever to take my order there was no customers when I told her my order she didn't confirm or anything so I just pulled up and she opened the window snatched my card and took another 30 min for my food to come out she was on the phone the whole time the cook kept ringing the bell that my food was ready and she just kept chatting it up and ignoring the cook when she finally decided to come back she gave me my food and practically ran away so I wouldn't ask for anything else. read more

Customer service is horrible. I was the only person ordering, waited literally 10mins, and the little girl just standing laughing and talking to the other worker. Then comes to take my order and tells me to hold on and is talking and laughing with the worker over the head piece. Finally order. I usually go to Odalberto's for their amazing San Diego inspired burritos, but wanted to venture out and give another place a try. I ordered their California burrito here and it is absolutely massive! Only downside is that there's no sour cream or guacamole like other places make it. And the carne asada is mediocre at best. The cheese wasn't even melted. To be honest I would rather have a smaller burrito that's made well with sour cream and guacamole. I should try something else here next time. They have a drive thru so that's a huge plus! read more

Been to this place a few times already, the food is very tasty. I really enjoy their Tortas and Burritos. The Cotija's Burrito is a must to try if you are new to this place. The only Con is the wait for the food to be ready. They have little employees and the wait time to get your food might be a little longer than expected. Ok so this is maybe my 3rd time here! We try to order something different each time and this time what is the best meal we had so far! We had the fish torta and some Asada tacos! Came here because my mom lives right down the street. They swore that this place is sooo good and when we went the line was insane so I was excited to try. I think maybe this is the only "authentic" Mexican food in the area so that's why it's so busy. I got the carne asada nachos and chicken taquitos. Let me just say I took one bite of the nachos and lost my appetite. They were soggy because they use the nasty nacho cheese and my chips were smothered with that cheese sauce. I personally don't like nachos from a Mexican restaurant with nacho cheese sauce and no real cheese. Meat had absolutely no flavor. Overall the food was very bland and not what I was expecting at all. The orchata was not sweet at all and had that powdery residue. I went for fish tacos since it's Ash Wednesday. I was surprised to get back to my office and see the actual tacos have the tiniest pieces of fish. They're very small strips. I ordered 4 so my coworker and I could share because we both usually get full off of 2 tacos from most places. I could have eaten all 4 and still been hungry. I ordered the daily special #19 which came with a carne asada burrito , 3 rolled tacos and a small drink all for right under $10. The food was good and it was very filling. But like stated in previous reviews, customer service was eh. Seems like maybe they were understaffed so the tables were also dirty. They close at midnight and while I was eating there at 11:30 p.m., I got up to go get more salsa at the salsa bar and they had already put it all away while I was still eating. I personally really like the hash brown breakfast burrito. I've had it about 4-5 times and all but one have been very good and very tasty. One time I did get it and the meat was literally all fat and was very disappointing, but overall it's been good. My wife likes to try a few different things like tacos, chili relleno, shrimp burrito, enchiladas, and more. I would have to say the rolled tacos weren't the best and I feel like the price of the quesadilla is way too high for just a tortilla and cheese. I heard some friends say how good this place was. I was terribly let down. I bought a menudo to go. As there is no seating, which I'm ok with. They do use better cuts of tripe. But that was the only thing good about it. It was very bland. It's red but doesn't taste like chili. I would have been better of buying a can of Juanita's menudo. I was the only person there it took over 20 minutes to get. I've worked in a Mexican restaurant. It doesn't take 20 minutes to pour a quart of menudo and heat up the tortillas. I ordered an additional side of corn tortillas, and did not receive them. They failed me in the flavor, service,speed and accuracy. This is why I give only one star. read more
