OK As you can see most of these post are 2019 and before. I know they have replaced a few people. It has been better. Delivery's yes, they say 30mins to 1hour But they have told me 45 on several orders and they will be getting to my house in like 20-25mins. Food quality has also improved. I don't understand why everyone has such a hard on for this place. We had an XL pepperoni pizza ($15.99) delivered because they sent us a 50% off coupon in the mail. While the delivery was prompt, the food was lacking. The pizza crust was missing salt or some kind of seasoning and was dry on the edges. And I don't think that I've ever uttered this phrase before, but there was too much cheese. I love cheese but this made me feel like I was choking with each bite. This was made even worse by the breadsticks ($3.99) which were more like doughsticks as they were undercooked. Pizza was good, not great but good. However someone had taken a small slice out and tried to push it together like they didn't. I called back to let them know and I talked with Roy. I asked for manager and he said he was the manager. He told me that it must have shifted during shipment. It did not. I know this "trick" used by hungry employees from 30 years ago when I managed a pizza place and I just wanted to alert them to what happened. Moving here to Michigan I've tried a few different pizzerias and have come to the conclusion that this is the best in the area. I was never a fan of deep dish up until having it from here. I used to live by this place while going to college at NU and still visit Midland, MI often. I just ordered some pizza this past weekend which was great but I want to genuinely say that these guys and gals know how to make a good pie. The condiments are melted into the cheese rather than sloppily lain on top and they are consistent in doing that because I've ordered over 20 pizzas from this place over the years. Ordered a $15 salad for delivery and waited over an hour for it. Called to ask why and the guy says our delivery is an hour twenty minutes on average with attitude. I respond "for a salad"? I asked why they couldn't call me and let me know they were running behind he says I dont have your number because you ordered online which was a lie because he knew my wife's name and my confirmation email showed that information. I am not one to write bad reviews, but my experience just really rubbed me the wrong way. The food was pretty good (reason for 2 stars instead of 1) but the service was so disappointing. The delivery driver was quite rude. I put my apartment building, apartment number, and floor number all in the driver notes. He called me to ask for further directions, which I had no problem giving. However when he got to my floor, instead of knocking on my door, he yelled "whoever ordered the pizza it's out here" (at 11pm). I immediately opened the door and he said "so stressful." I apologized for the confusion and as he handed me my order, I said "thank you so much have a great night" and he proceeded to roll his eyes, throw the receipt at me and watched it fall to the floor, and said "HA yeah" extremely sarcastically. I know that there are a lot of places that are short staffed right and I am an extremely understanding person, but I do not appreciate it when people are straight up rude for no reason. Yeah, no. This review is mostly for the delivery service. I knew when I went to order trash pizza that I was getting trash pizza, and I was ok with this. Any kindergartner who can put the round peg in the round hole can open a can of Sysco shit and throw together a paint-by-numbers pizza. What I take offense to is my delivery guy giving me shit telling me that 'I'm actually out of the delivery area' (paraphrase) like he's doing me some big effing favor delivering my pizza to me when the effing website told me that I was in the effing delivery area, and the effing website let me make an order for delivery. Hi, I just paid $40 for $5 worth of cheese, bread, and a shitty overpriced salad, with a prepaid tip. I hate to sound like an effing bourgeoisie asshole because I'm not.
