Do you want to know where the 5 Star Doughnut Restaurant tastes like? You need to look no further than Cotton Candy donuts. I have driven past this place 1 million times and always wondered why they draw such a Huge crowd in a little space when donut shops within a close proximity of the place had a fraction of the customers. Today I finally tried them and now I get it. My first time in a new donut place I always try a glaze, donut, and a cinnamon roll. If you cannot get these two things right in my opinion, you are just an average donut place. This place blew those two items out of the ballpark. Both were light and airy and perfectly glazed. This place has seriously ruined me for all Other donut shops!

Such a big fan of this little donut shop. They've done custom orders for both of my girl's birthdays that turned out perfectly cute and very tasty. And their prices are very affordable. Most importantly, their donuts are downright delicious and super fresh. My only disappointment is that I can't eat here everyday or I'd have to buy bigger jeans, LOL!

This was my favorite donut place until today. I have not visited in a while, but I saw they had a special on the app to good to go so I ordered my donuts from there. please note I've done this before and the previous times I've had a variety of donuts and it was packaged professionally in one of their white to go boxes so when I go pick up my food, it's already ready. Today I told her that I was here to pick up my too good to go order. It was not ready. She proceeded to go to a cooler and get an old dirty box that previously had sodas or drinks in it that are now in the refrigerator. placed a white sheet at the bottom of the box and put my donuts in there. I noticed the smell was different in their donut shop and I asked if they were new owners and she said yes, and I could obviously tell by the way she was packaging my food, and the way it smelled in there. on my previously to good to go orders, I received a variety of donuts. today they provided me with five glazed donuts, three cake donuts, one chocolate, 2 blueberry and a chocolate twist. I was very disappointed in the presentation and the taste of my food. I went back in to get a separate sack because the cake donuts were touching the nasty box that she got off of a cooler And she made sure that I only got one small white baggy. Needless to say I will not visit this donut shop again and I'm very disappointed as my children loved going to this donut shop.

This donut shop is 5 stars in every way! First off, the shop is adorable on the inside & feels clean & new. The service is impeccable & the family that owns it is always so kind. When a friend & I were visiting she gave us both extra donut holes for free and then later when we were eating our donuts she sweetly came over and brought us chocolate sprinkle donut holes. Ordered through DoorDash and the donuts were still warm upon arrival! The cotton candy donut was simply delicious along with the donut holes and kolaches. The cotton candy wasn't too sweet; just a perfect donut!

I hacked up the donuts to try them all. Some were so good that none are left. The maple is my favorite but we had two of those.

the food here is amazing , best donuts and kolaches I have ever had. I have been going there for 5 years and I have never once had bad service. after a few times of going I began getting free donut holes which my orders. I recall one time when I first got my debit card, and my first purchase was here. for whatever reason it would not go through, but the wonderful people there let me take my donuts on the condition that I pay them back. I promptly went straight back apon returning home and paid them bac. I always find the place clean and with a wonderful charming vibe in the inside. one of my favorite places to go. read more

I used to stop there just about every day. Their sandwiches were awesome and their donut holes were hot, fresh, and heavenly. However, since they got their new owner or manager, the lady that gave me a few free donut holes with my kolaches (for which I always tipped dollar) is gone. No more free holes, and they changed the ham that they use for the sandwich. Someone's cutting corners. Best way to lose business. I'll keep dropping by occasionally to see if they figure it out. read more

I love the donuts here and especially the croissant sausage rolls. They make really beautiful and creative donuts for special occasions too. Oh, and highly recommend the cinnamon twist, cinnamon roll, and cinnamon donut holes. Great neighborhood spot and open early. read more

This was my favorite donut place until today. First let me say I love their donuts. The chocolate they use is pretty good but not the best. I prefer milk chocolate personally. There are like 15 donut places I could go to on my way to work but I go out of my way to go to this establishment. The reason for the bad review is their inconsistency. Sometimes when I get a cream filled donut they don't put enough inside. They also give you free donut holes (sometimes) which lead me to write this review. You can't really complain about free donut holes but again it's inconsistent. Sometimes they just don't give you any and sometimes they do. If there's one thing that gets on my nerves is a business that is inconsistent with their service. I'd rather not get anything free than get something free here or there. Just be consistent with your business so I know what to expect. read more

Another typical mom + pop donut establishment BUT they got cronuts WITH sizable samples of those cronuts!! The cronut here is one of the more aesthetic ones I've ever seen. It's pretty tall and big. The lamination was pretty. The inside of the cronut was moist... a little too moist in my opinion but overall a decent donut. I also appreciated being able to try a piece before investing 2.99 into it:) read more

This is a great donut shop! Definitely a few notches above the standard donut shop. All of the donuts and kolaches are fresh and delicious. Plus they have delicious cronuts!!! And a ton of adorably decorated donuts for kids- I can't believe how much time they spend decorating these donuts with different colors, topping, and themes! I stop by frequently to get donuts for work and they never disappoint. The cronuts of course are the best. Outside of my work crew, my kids love the puppy shaped ones & they did my daughters birthday donuts for her class. Those were spectacular, presentation & taste! And the couple is so sweet. The box threw me for a loop with the party donuts as I never expect those to be very good, but we had an assorted dozen of normal donuts and I would go out of my way for these. I got the blueberry scone, danish with asparagus, croissant, and the curry potato hot pocket (ranges from $3.75 - $4.50). All of them were delicious! Possibly the best pastries in the area?!?!? Friendly service by the Buzz and Bustle staff who patiently explained each pastry flavor, and I conveniently tried their cappuccino, which tasted great. Plenty of cafe seating inside and outside. The parking garage elevator/stairs is close to the shop, so getting in and out once you know the layout is not bad. Due to the limited selection depending on when you go, I would ignore what's listed on the website and just be ready to try whatever they happen to have available that day. We went in the afternoon and they were fully stocked with pastries. We tried the blueberry financier, croissant, chai latte, and matcha. Unfortunately, nothing tasted particularly fresh. The croissant especially missed the mark for me--none of the flaky, buttery layers I expect from a good French-style croissant. The chai was watery, and the matcha tasted mostly like milk with a hint of green coloring. Honestly, the mint-green color told me everything before I even took a sip. The location is great, the décor has a cute Parisian feel, and the staff was helpful, but overall it just didn't do it for me. I probably won't return.

My bestie ordered a blueberry muffin, then later a croissant sandwich. I didn't try them, but she loved them both. I ordered a latte and it was so good that I returned for another. We enjoyed our visit, people-watching and catching up. The place was very clean although small but most customers seemed regulars and just walked up with their dogs and/or kids and left, so mostly live close-by, it seemed. Service was great and they were very patient as we tried to make up our mind on which pastries we were going to buy. Prices were average for what you would expect for a homemade pastry shop. However, the Passionate Kiss started to taste very chemical forward the longer it sat (I'm a slow drinker) so I only finished half of it. Not sure if it was because of the print on the foam originally or what, but it wasn't pleasant. I got the scallops and loved them, especially since I was able to try their orzo with it that normally comes with the salmon instead. The scallops were tender and the flavor was rich and well balanced with the rest of the plate. My boyfriend loved his chops and devoured everything. He also got the Potatoes Au Gratin and couldn't get enough. They were very rich and had great flavor. I had previously seen reviews from others saying the potatoes and other dishes were bland but that was not our experience. The rolls were one of the best parts. I wish I could whip butter like that at home. Towards the end they brought us a couple of glasses of Prosecco to cheers with, and a complimentary dessert (the Samoa sundae). We also ordered the Chocolate Decadence which was incredibly good. The goal is to come back next year, and plenty of times before that as well. Thanks to the Evelyn team for such a great dinner!
