Am a regular who loves to go to country boys and when the sweetest ladies lift the lids and say what's on the menu for the day it's pure bliss. Very consistent and maybe 1 time the brisket was dry, other than that they always change it up like turkey for Thanksgiving, prime rib for Christmas, brisket chili, burnt ends, and always have old reliable brisket. 11/10 food with the best vibes

I have had many food here but not the brisket. Today went and ordered 1lb for $27! For good brisket I'm down. This brisket was pot roast stringy, dry, with thick fat not rendered. So sad. Was so hungry and looking forward to it.

Love me some Country Boys! Always good food and portion sizes. Excellent service! Be mindful of their hours and days open.

Just tried this place when we saw it was open. It's a brand-new spot on Bridge Road where O'Doodle Doos Donuts used to be. It's amazing!!! We got the Family Packer for 4 and it was plenty of food and quite delicious. We also ordered a banana pudding which is literally the best I've had (besides my mom's of course). Fun place inside. You enter in one door, order, pay, and then exit out the other side. There is no indoor seating, but there are covered picnic tables outside near the smokers. It's not Carolina/Virginia style pork, but so good and somewhat unique in its flavor profile. The brisket was also very good. The Mac & Cheese, Slaw, and homemade buns were all exceptional. Well done!

Good food. But I can't figure out why I was charged 38.00 for 2 plates. One meat and roll and 2 sides. I didn't get a receipt. Oh well. I can't afford that place again.

We pulled up during what felt like a historic flood but apparently might just be another day in Norfolk. We arrived a bit after lunch hour and were able to order right away. You make your choices at the counter and then take the food to a covered seating area. (Good thing it's covered since it was pouring) I'll start by mentioning that every staff member we encountered was awesome, they all seemed into what they were doing and delivered a great experience. I was also impressed by the operation. They had everything you would need displayed in the seating area. Sauces, utensils, napkins, to go containers, and bags. No need to awkwardly look for anything. Hard to get this far into a review without mentioning the outstanding food. It's some of the best BBQ I've had! We went with the professional platter and added burnt ends. I enjoyed each and every item but the standout to me was the brisket, I've never had a juicier more tender piece of brisket in my life! Ribs were done really well also, the burnt ends had tons of flavor, the sausage was delicious, and the pulled pork and chicken were winners as well. The fries were better than expected, the Mac and cheese was tasty, and the broccoli salad worked really well with all that meat! Truly a feast!

We had to put in the order at the counter first before grabbing a table in one of the shack style sitting areas. They had 7 different styles of meat and 9 different sides. They also sold snack, house made sauces and some merchandises of their brand. I ordered the 2 meat platter with beef brisket and chopped beef. Within few minutes of ordering, they brought the order out to the table. I liked the chopped beef but didn't like the brisket. Tried the burned end also that was good actually. The chicken nuggets I got for my daughter were the best. They were so tasty. The side of corn pudding was also excellent. The shack we sat in was really hot since there was no AC, just a normal fan was blowing air. It was self service so we got the utensils, soda and water. They had ketchup, vinegar, mustard, bbq and white sauces available in the condiment area. Overall it was a decent spot but bbq meat fell short in taste for me.

The wait staff were super nice and accommodating so that was nice. Ordered a 10pc chicken tenders with macaroni and cheese, a brisket sando with a side of baked beans and broccoli bacon salad. The tenders was ordered as a meal, but for some reason a drink is not included in the meal. The brisket sando was okay, a little dry so I had to hit it with the spicy sweet bbq sauce (which was just sweet, no spice at all). I ordered the brisket sando based on the dude in front of me who got the pulled pork sando, and when I watched the server put a huge scoop of pulled pork on the bread I just knew it was going to be the same for me...but it wasnt. I got 3 strips of brisket. The baked beans were good, almost a little too sweet. The broccoli bacon salad was a cold dish, and was tossed in a overly sweet white sauce. Think coleslaw but instead of shredded lettuce, broccoli. I wasn't a fan. The macaroni and cheese was more like a boxed product. However the chicken tenders were super good and I highly recommend those. All that for 48 bucks. I was pleasantly surprised the machine didn't ask for a tip, that was nice.

My babe woke up two Sunday's ago wanting breakfast. I really wasn't feeling like anything we already tried near home, so I pulled up Yelp to guide me in another direction. Now this place, I have seen it several times featured during Suffolk's restaurant week, but why haven't I visited until now, who knows! But it wont' be too long of a wait ever again! We ate breakfast here and we tore it up! My babe had the big breakfast and I had the simple breakfast along with a cranberry mimosa... ate it down!! Yall, I am hardly a fan of breakfast outside my kitchen, but I will give places a shot or two if the majority wants to go out. My go to for breakfast is usually a lunch option. And on this visit I almost ordered lunch (those fresh cut fries caught my eye), but my first mind said, Maria give the breakfast a try. So glad I did!! I was not disappointed by anything!! The wait time - none - seated super quickly. They have high tops and low seating as well as a few seats at the bar. From the time we ordered our meal - plate to table - great timing! My cranberry mimosa, no way I ordered two, because one was enough for me, very good! The freshness of everything on my plate... superb! While everything wasn't made from scratch, it was the presentation and the quality of it all. 10/10 Although it's small inside, this restaurant located inside an airport building/office suite had space for us and that's all that mattered. We dined long enough to see guests come and ago, but no one had to wait to be seated. There is a full bar here! Weekly specials! Happy hour deals! As a new Suffolk resident, I am pleased I came across this great hideaway :) I cannot wait to return when it is warm enough to enjoy the outdoor seating. Great job owners and staff!! I peeped the vibes too... super welcoming place! Have fun and enjoy life :)
