He described them as pan-fried, noting that an order includes two to three nice-sized chops and comes with two sides. I decided to order the lamb chops to go, selecting the arroz chaufa (fried rice) which was a $1 upcharge and plantains as my sides. I was extremely disappointed when I opened my order and found that I had been served lamb shoulder for $18 and not the lamb chops I expected (typically rib or loin chops). To add to my disappointment the quality of the Lamb was very poor; it was tough, contained an excessive amount of connective tissue and fat, and was ultimately inedible. I ended up having to throw the entire portion away. The arroz chaufa also had inconsistent quality. While the flavor was good, the texture varied significantly, with parts being mushy and overcooked, and others remaining hard and undercooked. The Plantains were cut too thick and were also undercooked. Given the cost and the expectation associated with "Lamb Chops," I was extremely unhappy with my meal. I believe the cut of meat served was misrepresented, falsely advertised and the quality was unacceptable. I certainly cannot recommend this item to others and regret not ordering the chicken, which I know your restaurant prepares well.

The fries were very lightly salted but I did add their "Everything Rub" seasoning on them and it made them taste great! The coleslaw was actually creamy and delicious and I enjoyed it. The dinner comes with 3 hush puppies which contain corn and tasted wonderful. After our dinner, we tried the carrot cake and it was very good. The cake was moist and not too dense and even though it included raisins (which I hate lol), it still tasted very good. Overall, the food was alright for the most part. The staff was very friendly which I enjoyed. In my opinion, they should introduce combo dinners to the menu and also include drinks with the dinner options because they are not included. Not sure if I'll be stopping back in anytime soon but it's a decent spot if you have taste for some fried fish or chicken.

Our company ordered Pollards' boxed lunches for our employees and we were extremely impressed with our entire experience. It was very simple to order online, with several options to choose from (we narrowed it down to three). Once we ordered, we were sent a confirmation email and itemized list of everything we selected. The driver arrived at our building early and the delivery process was flawless. The individual boxes were labeled, which made it super easy for employees to identify their meal. The boxes even had a tamper-evident seal on them. Not to mention the actual food was awesome too! From portion size to quality to price, everything was perfect. We have some very satisfied (and well-fed) employees. I highly recommend their catering and will be ordering from them again. read more

Cashier was using the same gloves hands serve food, answer the phone and type in orders. The food was just okay. I liked the charcoal flavor of the chicken 7/10 but the rice was dry and hard, the beans were over cooked and flavorless, the veggies were mushy and lacked seasoning as well. The lack of cleanliness is a huge deal for me because if the front of the house is nasty, the back couldn't be any better. This place is a no for me.

Let's check it out shall we? We were seated a minute after walking in. There were a few people dining inside on this cloudy day. The decor is nice resembling a type of restaurant you may see in New Orleans. Right when I was looking through the menu, I ran into Chef Moe who greeted me with a handshake. It has been years since we last saw each other but the vibes came right back since Sophia and I were long-standing customers. We couldn't talk long since he was busy, but it was great to run into him again smiling from ear to ear seeing me there. Great people indeed. How was the food you might ask? Pretty damn good. We both ordered their fried catfish meals with sides (mine came with fries and sweet cornbread and Sophia's with mashed potatoes and gravy and mac-and-cheese). The fish was seasoned perfectly and was huge. It was big enough to cover a football field (just kidding). The fries, as always, tasted great and the cornbread was delish. The both of us ended up taking home leftovers where the food didn't lose any taste from before. It was so refreshing to stop by after so many years.
