It is what it is a rather plain, dated and old school Cafe. The people who work there are slinging plates of food for hungry patrons at a fever pitch. We ordered breakfast and we got exactly what we ordered breakfast. The eggs were cooked as ordered, the hash brown were browned, the bacon was almost crispy and the coffee was strong. I imagine they enjoy a loyal following of people who live nearby. I doubt that I would go there for dinner but I would certainly return for breakfast. As a breakfast place it compares to Denny's or Perkins or Villlage Inn. If you want a big breakfast at a reasonable price this will fill that need.

Love this place. Nothing fancy, just good diner food and good service. The ladies who serve here are always so dang nice. Low key, comfy small town feel inside. Been here a good handful of times and never had a negative experience. Prices are fair as well.

I ate here on march 3rd 2024, the service and employees were super nice. The monte carlo was pretty good. The new york steak was good & gravy was yummy. The shrimp was hardly shrimp but yummy. Like fries , I dont know what i ate for the shrimp but it was tasty fried balls. Wouldnt get the shrimp again, but the rest of the food was lovely. Free refils, great to hang with your friends after a night out for that classic cozy restaurant.

A dirty bowl with lemons for my water, and a hair

The food was absolutely disgusting. They brought extra lemons for my water and a dirty bowl and the bowl had a hair stuck on the inside. The general tasted sour and it was very hard to chew. The steak was frozen and they put sausage gravy on it. The carrots were frozen. There's no fresh food in this restaurant. I do not recommend it and I will not be back.

The chocolate egg cream, which contains…read moreneither egg nor cream (the audacity), sounds like something a seven year old invented during a fever dream. It was gone in five minutes and I would have licked the glass if my husband wasn't watching. I also had a cherry phosphate, and if you have never had a phosphate, I am genuinely sorry for your loss. I have been a fan since my first one at Aglamesis Bros in Cincinnati, and this one brought back every bit of that sour, tangy, cherry nostalgia. Order both. Alternate sips. You're welcome. The Reuben was a heavy hitter. Corned beef so tender it practically dissolved, sauerkraut quiet enough to stay in its lane while still adding a nice salty backbone, and I had the good sense to ask for extra thousand island for dipping. That was a power move and I stand by it. My husband had the meatloaf sandwich special, which was so good I spent the rest of the meal in quiet mourning over my own ordering choices. Absolutely outstanding, no notes. The potato salad he got as his side was excellent too, which only added to my suffering. Now. The sides. The fries are mandatory. Hot, fresh, crispy outside, perfectly smooth and creamy inside, and tossed in some seasoning I cannot identify but will be thinking about for the next several weeks. Critical note: put the ketchup down. It clashes with the seasoning in a way that will disappoint you. Get a side of mayo instead and dip accordingly. Genuinely life changing. The Hawaiian coleslaw, on the other hand, is a trap I walked into so you do not have to. Sweet coleslaw is already a divisive concept, and this one doubles down with chunks of pineapple thrown in for reasons I can only describe as chaotic. If tropical fruit in your coleslaw is your thing, go for it. If you have any savory coleslaw loyalty whatsoever, order literally anything else. The ambiance is pure nostalgia, antiques everywhere you look, sandwiched on both sides by an antique shop, which is fitting because this whole place feels like a time capsule in the best possible way. And for my fellow vinyl collectors, this is a hidden gem. I turned around approximately six times and found a new box of records every single time. I did not come here expecting to go digging, but I am absolutely coming back to do exactly that. Apparently I cannot go anywhere without finding another way to spend money on albums. No regrets, this place has great taste in more ways than one.

I'd been meaning to try this location after seeing a few of my fellow Yelper friends review this place. Just like they said, this place did not disappoint! Serving up quality diner food with friendly service, classic hits, and blast from the past decor. What We Ordered: - Steak & Eggs: Under $20?! Count me in! Seasoned well and cooked perfectly to order for both the over easy eggs and medium rare steak. Breakfast perfection! - Patty Melt: My boyfriend said it was delicious, and the small bite I tried was great. You can tell they season their burger patties.
