We were in Wyckoff on a Saturday looking for brunch. Willow & Wisk had an hour wait so we tried Country Cafe. When walked in, we were greeted by the owner who we knew!! She used to own a place in Franklin Lakes that we used to visit. The food was solid, the service was prompt and atmosphere was nice. Country Cafe was an enjoyable visit. There was plenty of parking, within the strip mall's lot, the cafe is clean, is nicely decorated, has a wall mounted television playing country videos that all patrons can view, and the staff was very hospitable. My Salted Caramel Cold Brew was VERY GOOD and was served in a large glass. The Taylor Ham, Egg, and Cheese on a hard roll, was just as good. The perfectly prepared ham was exquisite and every bite was thoroughly enjoyed. Country Cafe will be a smart choice, if you're in the Wyckoff area and enjoy your visit. read more

Food - 5 star We really loved the food -- everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The salmom avocado toast was perfectly creamy and delicious, and the French toast hit the spot. Service - 2 star. After our food was served, no one returned fo see if all was ok or if we needed anything. My wife ordered tea, she wasnt given honey or lemo as usually recieved in other restaurant or even asked. We weren't even done with our food and the waitress placed the check on the table. I guess it was time to finish our meals and leave. Please do better with coffee services! I just paid $7.50 for a completely undrinkable latte. 1- using a keurig cup for "espresso" doesn't count. If I knew that, I would have done it myself at home with my nespresso. 2- I said light, and specified 1 pump of the vanilla syrup, and then watched as about 1/2 a cup was poured in. Shame on me for not saying anything in the moment, but the server / service was great, and I felt embarrassed to ask for a new one. Plus- it would have just been another keurig. Country Cafe- you are a cafe! With an extensive coffee menu. PLEASE up your coffee game. Doesn't have to be some fancy expensive machine... but can we do better than a Keurig so I can justify treating myself to a $7.50 latte? And maybe invest in some better quality syrups. Those are really the cheapest that exist. You get what you pay for. read more

Coffee and service was good, they took off one of the 2 bad meals. The french toast was burnt on the outside and raw with soaked egg on the inside. The bacon was fatty on my wife's plate and burnt on mine. The potatoes were oily and not great. Pancakes were rubbery and not fluffy. Pretty bad overall opinion and will not be back. read more

We went there for early breakfast. The place is small so you feel cramped with tables next to each other. Waitress took forever to take our order. I had hashbrowns as a side dish with my eggs. They were Horrible!!!! The hash browns are the triangular shape ones the ones you get frozen in the supermarket!! Coffee wasn't good and eggs were fair not moist. The waitress never asked how things were or if we needed anything. Zero personality! Another waitress took our check. I would not recommend this place. Go someone else . About time I gave this location a review. I was a frequent customer at their previous location in franklin lakes. I was sad to hear they were losing their space of many years but ecstatic to know they were starting fresh in Wyckoff. Side note - my husband is a big fan of a more boujie brunch, however he's always been a huge fan of country cafe; food is too good to not love the place. Previous location had a much more casual vibe. And I have to say, they've absolutely leveled up. The space is stunning, it's still casual in the sense that you can stroll in sunday morning in your joggers but it has a more up-scale feel than it's previous location. Bitter-sweet to move but onwards and certainly upwards. I'm also here to say their food is just as good as it's always been. Clean brunch options sporting their fantastic country cafe style unique options. Don't sleep on the breakfast potatoes my friends! See you there. read more

Went for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The 4 of us were looking at the menus and a server walked over and threw a check on the table. She didn't even look at us. My husband said "hey this isn't ours, we haven't eaten yet." When we received our food, my husband's was wrong. They had to redo. We asked for more water and I needed syrup, the server took the syrup off another table and basically threw it on our table. Food was good but service there is not what it should be. $75 later I highly doubt that we will ever go back. It's sad, because it's an easy fix. read more

What a cute spot! The place isn't huge so it could probably get crowded sometimes, but it was nice and mellow when I went with my friend for breakfast. Had an egg white omelette with avocado and tomato - and lots of decaf coffee - it was the perfect breakfast. The menu has lots to offer! The service is rude and curt. I would've rather served myself because the food was very decent, and that is what's saving this review from sinking to 2 stars. My friends and I went for Sunday brunch. We were given a "we close at 3" warning upon walking in but the customers that came in after us didn't receive the same warning. One of the waitresses actually started a conversation w a guy that walked in right in the middle of taking our order. It felt like we were more a bother to these servers than actual customers. Too bad, because the cafe itself is cute and like I said, the food was good. But won't be returning to be treated like that again. read more
