After trying for weeks to bring our baby to our regular mobile groomer with no luck (she was ill, left early, etc..) we finally had to try something else because our dog has a dentist appointment coming up and we need her ready. Someone on a local FB page recommended this place for a nail trim and said they do walk-ins any time before 2. I was nervous because she hates getting her nails trimmed but we drove to Country Clippers and my husband took her inside. Before I could even bet the backseat of the car cleaned, he was back with her and I thought "oh no, another disappointment". I said "They couldn't do it?" and he said "It's done already and for half the price of our regular place." I could not believe it. He was so satisfied. Good customer service, hardly any wait and our dog was so distracted by a parrot inside apparently that she hardly noticed the trim :) Also, they are a brick and mortar so we can come whenever we need. Took by Australian Shepherd to country clippers where I've been taking him since he was about a year old he is now five years old he was full of stickers we had long hair and his undercoat was heavily impacted. I really debated posting this review but I'm very frustrated on how this situation was handled. I picked up my dog from this facility & was told that my dogs paw was cracking & it was due to weather change. I brushed it off & thought nothing of it since my dog has been going to this groomer for about a year or so & have had no issues. I left paying them & tipping them $20. When I got home I noticed blood everywhere & quickly put together what actually happened. It is very clear that this was not due to the weather. Also my dog is an inside dog & does not spend very long outside. His other paw also had a deep straight cut. It is very clear that scissor did this to him! I am frustrated that they lied to cover up what actually happened & I paid for a service that has now cost me $600 & my dogs suffering. He had to get 2 stitches on his paw. I will not be coming here ever again & will not be recommending them. read more

Blaming Covid for not taking an atm card, wanting cash, was just the opposite of the state rule I heard. Dogs were clean but very chopped. The bows put in, when taken out, left a chopped mess like a kid did it. It was like putting hair in a pony tail and cutting it off. This is the absolute worst place to take a dog. I dropped my dog off, he was fine picked him up and he was completely distraught until the next day. I was playing with him, he rolled over on his back and I figured out why he was acting so scared, his testicles were completely BURNED. It took two weeks for them to heal. I called to make an appointment for my little shitzu To get all cleaned up and the lady said they were slow to just come in. I get there drop my dog off, came back 2 hours later and he was still in the same cage not moved. She told me "I said I would call when he's ready 1 more hour" she was rude and unprofessional. so I waited outside and when she seen me waiting she took another dog off the table and cut my dogs hair. They still charged me full price $40.00 and didn't even wash him like they said they would. So I had hair all over me and in my car never coming back here!! Don't recommend this place! read more

We had always been told he's really difficult and had even had to pick him up from places because they couldn't finish his haircut. Today he was done in 2 hours and they said he did good for them . Country Clippers is the greatest Groomer in California. If I could give 10 or 20 stars I would without question. They are always more than accommodating with working with you with a time that works for you. I have become friends with the owner Genola and spent many hours in Country Clippers and have never once seen anyone in there loose patience with any of the dogs even ones that would bite them, and ones that truly deserved a good smack on the butt. I have lost my patience just with the amount of noise coming out of the dogs. But when I ask how do you deal with this every day they say "we dont even notice it." I would be screaming at them to shut up LOL. They would always say when a dog snapped at the or bit them it was my fault for not respecting his boundaries. The most I have ever seen is a strong "no no". Nothing aggressive nothing more than the owners would do to their own pets. I referred my grandmother and her 16 year old dog to Genola as her current groomer said he was to old to groom and was snapping at her. When I asked Gen if he was aggressive with her she looked at me like I had two heads. She said "he was no trouble at all" my grandma was shocked as he is deaf and blind and has been a little nippy in his senile age. I have 8 dogs and have had my share of groomers and have never had one better than CC. All the others either did a terrible job or charged me a small fortune or both. About the reviewer that mentioned their dog got fleas from CC I'm guessing it was coincidence as they probably had long matted hair that was cut down and then they noticed the fleas that were covered by the hair. Fleas happen its part of owning a pet that goes outside. As they even mentioned that CC told them their dog had fleas. Like I said I have 8 dogs that go in about every 8 weeks and I have never had any issues caused my CC. They do breed specific and custom cuts.
