The meal made the belly happy. The Cream of Broccoli was good. Just right. I tried for the first time like Many others, the Key Lime Cake. Different and interesting. If you really like Key Lime Pie, well....... How can you go wrong with cake? The cake was different and still good. I won't do it again. Like a Georgia Peach....... stick with the Pie IMO. This is the place! Very clean and you can tell all food is fresh. I had the Reuben while in Thomaston for work and I was not disappointed! Hands down the best Reuben I've had in Georgia in the 12 yrs I have lived here! I work in Thomaston occasionally, and this is my go-to lunch spot. Their reuben is one of the best I've ever had! Their salad bar has a lot of options and the ranch dressing is delicious. Their red velvet and key lime cakes are yummy and baked on site. The line moves pretty quickly and my food is served hot and fresh each time. Best lunch stop in this town. I got a country sandwich. It was enormous and excellent. I was impressed. The line was kind of long but went pretty quick considering sandwiches are made on an assembly line like at Subway. The sandwich came with my choice of 3 meats and 2 cheeses. I have actually never set foot in the actual restaurant, but I was so, so pleased to have them for lunch at my office this past week. This gem in the city of Thomaston is apparently owned and operated by Mennonite Quakers and has a plethora of delicious and heart sandwiches, soups, and desserts. I had the chicken salad salad on wheat as well as a slice of the Red Velvet Cake. Both were stellar! I will certainly be visiting once again for lunch real soon and look forward to sample more of their delicious offerings! read more

The soups taste like grandma is in the back making them just for you, the sandwiches are made to order just the way you like it, and the salad bar is stocked full of fresh options. I'm not in love with the cake or potato sala, but that's just a preference. I like looking over in their little store area to get sesame sticks, jellies and jams, and other items you're not likely to find anywhere else.
