It's naturally sweetened and for 180 calories, it's a guilt-free pleasure. I added a scoop of whey protein to get my protein count up. For my meal, I had the chicken pesto flatbread. This has been my go-to at TSC for years. Who doesn't love pesto, parmesan, tomatoes and chicken in a soft flatbread wrap? A few minutes later, a car pulls up & parks. A Caucasian male proceeds to go inside & immediately starts to beg for service, meanwhile we are watching this unfold in real time. The associate immediately without any rebuttal locked the front door & proceeded to make the man's smoothie. Me & my son walked back to the front door to make the associate aware of this blatant display of preferential treatment and bad customer service. The associate ignored our presence at the door. The customer proceeded to pay while we continued to watch from the front parking lot. The problem is if she was going to open the door and provide service to another customer of another ethnicity, she should have then offered service to us as well since we were still in the parking lot. As a retired and disabled combat vet, I would never spend another cent in this establishment nor would I recommend any of my fellow vets to patronize this particular store. Management was not receptive when I complained the next day and appeared to brush me off as if this was acceptable. He did not offer any kind of courtesy for the way we had been treated, even though I would have declined the offer anyway. Please understand, I expect nothing for free. However, it is good customer service to at least offer.
