Cupid Doll vending machine in the lobby!
    Scott B.

My last time here at the Country Inn was 16 years ago, with Ron Tipler. Only the people have changed. Everything else is just as it was, maybe another 16 years previous. Even the historic photo on the wall, of "the valley" from 1904 by Professor Edward Langley, still sits above the booth on the west wall. I ordered bacon, eggs, and country potatoes with coffee. The meal was inexpensive--the coffee would be too expensive except the waitress and greeter traded off filling my cup about 5 times.... So on balance, the prices are quite favorable. But the nostalgia is free--a cupid doll machine in the lobby, a full standing chilled pie cabinet by the bar-stool area, a swinging door to the kitchen, and bench seats with worn-out springs (but newly reupholstered). I fell so far into the seat cushions I could hardly see over the table-top . But hey! I'm not complaining. I love this place! If you're an Americana history buff, you will too! It's good to be back--this is my kinda place, and these are my kinda people. The whole breakfast and "show" only came to $16.81. What a bargain! (See the pics!) I wish Ron was still here [sigh]!

It's your average country breakfast spot. Nothing fancy but a whole lot of charm. The service is great of course as everyone is very friendly. The food left something to be desired but it's somewhat expected lower quality food. Huge menu with plenty of breakfast and lunch options. Family friendly and wait time isn't too bad. Parking can be crowded. Overall a great experience

Our visit to country Inn was pretty good for a Saturday am. It was after their breakfast rush, but the place was cleaned and open tables ready for patrons. They had decent breakfast and kudos for mimosas! It was super cute inside decorated for Christmas. The place was steady on a late morning; service was friendly, quick and prompt. Food was good. There were pictures of old Wenatchee on the wall and It had the small town feeling vibe, and all around enjoyable!

Very friendly staff and welcoming. Menu was extensive with many options for breakfast , lunch and dinner. I came for breakfast as a traveler ( heard about establishment from son who is a resident). This diner has a old town dinner where everyone knows everyone. Food did not disappoint.

    Meat lovers omelet, cheese hashbrowns

Decided to have breakfast for lunch today and this place didn't let me down. I ordered the meat lovers omelet and hashbrowns. This is probably the most meat I've ever gotten in an omelet, honestly a tad too much, It was however very good. I added cheese and ham to the hashbrowns which by themselves could have been a meal. Overall it's was very good. As far as portions go it was definitely enough for two meals. Service was good and the place seems clean (but a little dated) which is sometimes a good thing.

Cherry pie a la mode on Pi Day!

It's Pi Day (3.14) Great selection of pies, and the coffee is good! Service is great, too.

The service was excellent! The food... not so much. I didn't personally care for the ambiance.

    | Room to Grow, Hoping for Better Next Time…read more We came to Petey's with high hopes. As a long-time Wenatchee resident who moved away in 2017, I was excited to try a new spot after recently moving back. I remembered this location as a family-run Mexican restaurant and was intrigued to see what Luis had done with the place--I've met him in the past and wanted to support the venture. First impressions were promising. We were greeted warmly by a friendly young man at the front, and shortly after sitting down, someone else brought us water without delay. The service started off strong and professional. Then our waitress arrived--and unfortunately, that's where things shifted. She didn't greet us or offer a smile--just asked if we wanted anything besides water. We placed our drink orders, but her demeanor felt cold and unwelcoming. When she returned with our drinks, the energy didn't improve. We placed our food order and hoped for the best. When our meals arrived, they looked good--but we were missing a couple of items. We let her know, and she corrected it quickly, which we appreciated. Still, she seemed frustrated and disengaged throughout. To top it off, while I was still eating, she returned--not to check on how things were--but to ask if we were ready to cash out. I let her know I wasn't quite finished yet. About ten minutes later, I motioned that we were ready, and she dropped the handheld payment device on the table without a word. No "how was everything?"--just silence. It was clear she was ready for us to go. Despite the lackluster service, I still left a 15% tip--because everyone has off days. And I genuinely want this place to succeed. The food was good, and the environment shows promise. We'll be back to give breakfast a try, and I'm hopeful the next visit reflects the pride and care that I know Luis wants this place to represent. I don't leave critical feedback lightly--but I know Luis will see this and take it as an opportunity to improve. - thanks for reading my review

---Something for everyone!--- I stopped for breakfast at…read more2:00PM on a Wednesday. The restaurant was busy at this location as this is the only Buzz Inn out of 12 locations in Washington that includes a gambling parlor room with Black Jack tables. However, the gambling parlor is separate from the dining area which was very quiet. I ordered an 6oz steak and eggs with country potatoes, sour dough bread, and coffee. The meal came quickly and it was hot and thoroughly delicious! (See pics). The trifold menu has breakfasts, lunches, dinners and desserts--most of the time-honored entrées we all remember. Andrea was my server, obviously a veteran, who topped my coffee frequently, offered a variety of steak sauces, answered all my questions about the restaurant and closed out my ticket with grace and gratitude, even gave me the senior discount without asking! The dining area is fully carpeted which muffles any noises, and makes the chairs glide smoothly--very easy to find a spot and slip into a chair. There's plenty of off-street parking and more than adequate restroom facilities. (Ha! ...I sound like I'm from the Health Dept.!) Every detail in the dining area was top cabin...right down to the spices, sauces, jams, jellies, salt'n'pepper trays, and menus ready at table-side. What's not to like? They checked all the boxes! - 5-STARS - Scott

Only a Breakfast Sandwich was on special. She is Lying, because it is on the DAILY Breakfast Menu ONLINE and a Large Banner is hung outside the restaurant to showcase this weekday Special. Kylee was Up-selling me, so she could earn more money. Then she spilled my coffee on me and burned my leg. I won't be going back to a restaurant that lies and cheats its customers. The place was dirty, it had signage from the Wednesday Night liquor offerings, obviously, they cannot clean up their restaurant by the end of shift the next morning. Save yourself some money, get better service and cleaner food, go to Ellie's Restaurant by the airport.
