Bacon, eggs, hash browns, and a biscuit.
Jim S.

My sister and I stopped in for breakfast mainly because of the name. Let me tell you. Lovely little place with the absolute nicest and sweetest staff. Wish I'd gotten our server's name but she was so nice and offered us a warm cinnamon bun because they were very busy. We happily accepted and OMG--scrumptious. I got eggs, bacon, hash browns, and a biscuit as big as my head. Couldn't recommend Jimmy's more should you find yourself in or near Wenatchee.

When I visit home I always have to go to Jimmy's Diner. Sounds crazy, but this place hands down has some of the best hash browns! The eggs are good per usual, bacon (when I ask for it) is extra crispy and oh man those hash browns. Talk about thick cuts of creamy potato, perfectly soft texture in the middle with the right crunch on the outside. My family members have gotten biscuits and gravy here and breakfast burritos. All of it is great. You must try their cinnamon roll too. If you can't have it for breakfast take one to go and they are enormous so be kind and share. Also side note this place only accepts cash!.

Perfect. Simple. Homey. All you need when passing through. Good portions. Not too expensive. Friendly service. Very family oriented. Clean.

Waited 20 minutes for someone....

I had previously been told that Jimmy's had great food, so I was excited about the opportunity to grab some food. Unfortunately, I had my pet dog, so I had to order take-out. It explicitly states that your establishment does dine-in and takeout. When I called, I was answered by someone very gruffly and asked 'who am I?". I said I'm a customer. For whatever reason I was passed to the Cook who yelled at me and said I needed to talk to a waitress. The waitress gets in and says that "she needed a few minutes". I waited... 20 min. You lost me as a customer. I work in the food industry and I know takeout business is a huge revenue stream now due to COVID. Enjoyed breakfast at Smitty's. They answered the phone very friendly and took my order with ZERO issues or concerns.

I loved Jimmy's until I ordered breakfast to go. I was so disappointed in the quality of food I haven't been back.

Highly recommend the bagel sandwich (do the jalapeño cheddar!) and the cinnamon roll pancakes. We live in Seattle but considering making the trip out to come here again soon.

| Room to Grow, Hoping for Better Next Time…read more We came to Petey's with high hopes. As a long-time Wenatchee resident who moved away in 2017, I was excited to try a new spot after recently moving back. I remembered this location as a family-run Mexican restaurant and was intrigued to see what Luis had done with the place--I've met him in the past and wanted to support the venture. First impressions were promising. We were greeted warmly by a friendly young man at the front, and shortly after sitting down, someone else brought us water without delay. The service started off strong and professional. Then our waitress arrived--and unfortunately, that's where things shifted. She didn't greet us or offer a smile--just asked if we wanted anything besides water. We placed our drink orders, but her demeanor felt cold and unwelcoming. When she returned with our drinks, the energy didn't improve. We placed our food order and hoped for the best. When our meals arrived, they looked good--but we were missing a couple of items. We let her know, and she corrected it quickly, which we appreciated. Still, she seemed frustrated and disengaged throughout. To top it off, while I was still eating, she returned--not to check on how things were--but to ask if we were ready to cash out. I let her know I wasn't quite finished yet. About ten minutes later, I motioned that we were ready, and she dropped the handheld payment device on the table without a word. No "how was everything?"--just silence. It was clear she was ready for us to go. Despite the lackluster service, I still left a 15% tip--because everyone has off days. And I genuinely want this place to succeed. The food was good, and the environment shows promise. We'll be back to give breakfast a try, and I'm hopeful the next visit reflects the pride and care that I know Luis wants this place to represent. I don't leave critical feedback lightly--but I know Luis will see this and take it as an opportunity to improve. - thanks for reading my review

---Something for everyone!--- I stopped for breakfast at…read more2:00PM on a Wednesday. The restaurant was busy at this location as this is the only Buzz Inn out of 12 locations in Washington that includes a gambling parlor room with Black Jack tables. However, the gambling parlor is separate from the dining area which was very quiet. I ordered an 6oz steak and eggs with country potatoes, sour dough bread, and coffee. The meal came quickly and it was hot and thoroughly delicious! (See pics). The trifold menu has breakfasts, lunches, dinners and desserts--most of the time-honored entrées we all remember. Andrea was my server, obviously a veteran, who topped my coffee frequently, offered a variety of steak sauces, answered all my questions about the restaurant and closed out my ticket with grace and gratitude, even gave me the senior discount without asking! The dining area is fully carpeted which muffles any noises, and makes the chairs glide smoothly--very easy to find a spot and slip into a chair. There's plenty of off-street parking and more than adequate restroom facilities. (Ha! ...I sound like I'm from the Health Dept.!) Every detail in the dining area was top cabin...right down to the spices, sauces, jams, jellies, salt'n'pepper trays, and menus ready at table-side. What's not to like? They checked all the boxes! - 5-STARS - Scott

Only a Breakfast Sandwich was on special. She is Lying, because it is on the DAILY Breakfast Menu ONLINE and a Large Banner is hung outside the restaurant to showcase this weekday Special. Kylee was Up-selling me, so she could earn more money. Then she spilled my coffee on me and burned my leg. I won't be going back to a restaurant that lies and cheats its customers. The place was dirty, it had signage from the Wednesday Night liquor offerings, obviously, they cannot clean up their restaurant by the end of shift the next morning. Save yourself some money, get better service and cleaner food, go to Ellie's Restaurant by the airport.

Dizzy D's - Burger Joint or Restaurant…read more I have to stick with a neutral 3-Star rating, as I haven't tried any of Dizzy D's burgers (and there are many). But I did have a Chef Salad, a Philly Cheese sandwich, a Club House sandwich and a Potato Salad side serving. The big question for me: Is Dizzy's a burger joint trying to be a restaurant? If the Philly Steak sandwich is any measure, Dizzy's is a restaurant--the Philly Steak is delicious. Not only the flavor of the meat and its generous portion, but the pairing of cheese and bell pepper takes this entrée over the top. But I do notice the at-onetime-side of fries, has become a small slice of toast, which makes no sense as the side to a hoagie bun (or was it meant for the salad with croutons?--either way, who wants bread with their bread. Still, top marks for the Philly (with or without fries)! Otherwise, the Chef Salad and the Club House sandwich were both exercises in processed food--the same cold cut meats used in both. Whether you like your luncheon meat with lettuce, or with bread, you're in for the same experience at the same price. My point: neither are restaurant quality because the 1/16" thin slices of ham and turkey, and yellow-n-white cheeses, and bacon...can't compete with the major restaurants in Wenatchee who slice fully-cooked ham and turkey. Yet the menu prices at Dizzy's are within a dollar of those at Rail House, or McGlinns, or even Denny's. The potato salad side is just a courtesy side dish. The single slice of pickle on top doesn't make it a flavor pairing. I think Reser's Potato Salad from WinCo would be a better choice. I will return for the cheeseburgers...promise! After all, Dizzy's has been around for at least 16 years--that's to their credit; they've got to be doing something right, right? It certainly isn't their lunch meat offerings. Finally, gotta say, the guy cooking, and the Gal at the window were both charming, great service providers!

I have eaten here at this place for years always gotten great service always gotten great food…read moresince the kids have taken over the product has gone downhill. The prices have gone up and the service sucks Wen this afternoon to get a basic ham and cheese sandwich with chips I leave I get 5 miles away to my destination to eat it and there's two real tiny thin pieces of ham that were like Budwig ham that you used to buy for $.88 for a whole package of it no cheese, two tiny pieces of lettuce I guess maybe I have to go elsewhere for my businessand this sandwich was just over $10. Sorry sorry to see this place go downhill because they had most excellent everything on their menu.
