Nice, unassuming coffee shop type place that had GREAT food and service. They handled our big party with 4 separate checks with a smile and the food was top notch. Most of the others had breakfast and one in our party raved about the breakfast burrito, and ordered it again. I got the jalapeño cream cheese burger and omg was it good. 10/10, not kidding. Nice big smash burger that was wider than the brioche bun, caramelized onions and jalapeños, lettuce, tomato and tho more cheese was offered I just stuck with the cream cheese as listed and it was heavenly. Seriously one of the best burgers I've had in a long time, served with plenty of battered fries. We were just in town for the weekend and staying at a hotel next door. But I will seek out Peteys again when in Wenatchee! read more

| Room to Grow, Hoping for Better Next Time We came to Petey's with high hopes. As a long-time Wenatchee resident who moved away in 2017, I was excited to try a new spot after recently moving back. I remembered this location as a family-run Mexican restaurant and was intrigued to see what Luis had done with the place--I've met him in the past and wanted to support the venture. First impressions were promising. We were greeted warmly by a friendly young man at the front, and shortly after sitting down, someone else brought us water without delay. The service started off strong and professional. Then our waitress arrived--and unfortunately, that's where things shifted. She didn't greet us or offer a smile--just asked if we wanted anything besides water. We placed our drink orders, but her demeanor felt cold and unwelcoming. When she returned with our drinks, the energy didn't improve. We placed our food order and hoped for the best. When our meals arrived, they looked good--but we were missing a couple of items. We let her know, and she corrected it quickly, which we appreciated. Still, she seemed frustrated and disengaged throughout. To top it off, while I was still eating, she returned--not to check on how things were--but to ask if we were ready to cash out. I let her know I wasn't quite finished yet. About ten minutes later, I motioned that we were ready, and she dropped the handheld payment device on the table without a word. No "how was everything?"--just silence. It was clear she was ready for us to go. Despite the lackluster service, I still left a 15% tip--because everyone has off days. And I genuinely want this place to succeed. The food was good, and the environment shows promise. We'll be back to give breakfast a try, and I'm hopeful the next visit reflects the pride and care that I know Luis wants this place to represent. Came here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon based on Yelp. Upon walking in, we can tell it used to be a Mexican restaurant based on the decor. Country music played overhead. We ordered the French dip ($18) daily special and Carbonara Fettuccine ($23). It took longer than usual to get our food. The French dip had minimal meat and the au jus was on the salty side. My Carbonara was also quite salty and had big chunks of bacon. The establishment was clean and service was decent but we will most likely not be back due the so-so food quality. read more

Never been here. Was told by the locals great food and environment. Our table was dirty when seated and windows looking out filthy. Flies landed on myself and our food during entire meal. Waitress did not come to take order for quite some time. Ordered chicken wings with ranch with 2 orders of fish and chips. The fish is NOT hand dipped per menu description. It comes from a box as the fish was bland and tasted like it came from a box. Small portion with fries. The very last chicken wings I dipped n ranch and in the ranch was a light colored curly piece of hair. Ewwww! Waitress saw and asked for my phone as I took a picture of the hair.She showed it to the cook and took wings off my bill. I was disgusted and disappointed since it was our first time there. I came to Peteys with 3 other people. The food was SO GOOD! We all ordered different things. I had the fajita omelet and don't remember the last time I enjoyed a meal so much. Really! I don't go on about food regularly but YUM! My husband had the classic eggs Benedict and said it was perfect. His usual praise of anything he likes is "it was alright". One of my friends had the Monte Cristo for the second time because she loves it! Our other friend had the rise and shine burger and was equally impressed. We will continue to eat there and might try other items if we can manage to skip the dishes we already love. read more

This new restaurant has been an incredible find! There are many home made dishes including lasagna. We have visited Wentachee for 20 years and this is the best restaurant that we've been to. We liked it so much that we returned three nights in a row. The chef cares deeply about what he is cooking and wants it to be delicious... and it is! You've got to try this place. We like the chicken fajitas but the home made lasagna is next! This place will be bursting at the seems soon when it is really discovered! read more

Food- we were looking for more of a comfort food breakfast before hitting the road and it had more of a Mexican flare to it..which was still good, just not what we were looking for. Hubby said the English muffin tasted like it was brushed with shortening instead of butter and his hash browns were really greasy. The prices were higher than the quality of the food. We wanted to try the biscuits and gravy but not for $20! Ambiance-meh...looked like the inside of a Mexican restaurant. Clean! The cleaner they use puts off a strong scent that is a bit overpowering when you are trying to eat. read more

Petey's is very unpredictable. Sometimes it's good, sometimes not so good. Last time we went it was not so good. The huevos rancheros were very sad. Seriously only one or two beans on each tortilla. Two of my friends got omelettes, and one of them got twice the amount of hashbrowns than the other. Omelettes and hashbrowns were not that great. Red and green salsas we received were not that great. This morning we went to Smitty's and it was 100 times better. The service at Petey's was great though. Restaurant is clean but no soap or toilet seat covers in women's bathroom. Not sure if the difference in food on different days (sometimes good sometimes not good) is because of different chefs? Will keep trying Petey's but please put more beans on those huevos rancheros! Saw this had a high review so thought I would check it out. It didn't look like much on the outside but looks are deceiving. I was immediately greeted and sat at my table. The menu boasts both all day breakfast and lunch/dinner items. I decided to go with the jalapeño cream cheese bacon burger and fries with bottled coke. The food came out quickly, the fries were piping hot and crispy and the burger was piled high with toppings, definitely needed two hands to handle it. If you like a spicy burger then the jalapeño burger is for you, it was spicy without being overpowering on the flavor which is also present. I highly recommend this hidden gem if you're in town looking for a place to eat. I will definitely be back again when I'm in Wenatchee. read more

I would LOVE to leave 5 stars Here is what I experienced at Peteys.... Menu options- fabulous menu choices Item quality- very delicious however, the meal was not hot, but more lukewarm. I was excited to try the loaded hash browns but was disappointed. They shouldn't be cold or soggy. Service is VERY slow - we were the only customers at the time. But while you wait, you can watch the menu on a tv screen. Please improve your sausage gravy and hollendaise sauce. The gravy is mediocre and the hollendaise was oily and curdled and had too much lemon. All-in-all, I wish Peteys much success. Found ourselves with no place to eat on Thanksgiving. Saw Peteys was open so we stopped in. WOW are we glad. They had a Thanksgiving special and the Turkey was the best We've ever eaten. First time Soso. This time holy waited over 30 mins and it just was sub par. Then they completely forgot toddlers waffle. You want to forget my food, ok. Not the toddlers. Heard the other table *only 3 of us, ask where her food was, said "it's a salad and a sammich it's been 35 mins, to which the server said "I'm not your server " haha I would've walked out. Anyhow. Our food took around an hour to come after we ordered and we waited about 30 minutes for a server to even come talk to us. The reason i'm giving them a couple starts at all is because the food was pretty good and we did go on a fairly busy holiday. Also this is a newer restaurant so im sure this was one of the first busier days they've had. However the food was just not worth the wait and service, they also messed up our order. read more

The food is spectacular. The expectation going in was "diner food" and that's what we got in the very best way. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak, and I, the chicken and waffles (get bone-in!) My waffles came with a delicious blueberry butter, blueberry jam, and a lovely whip! Everything was delicious, portions beyond generous so taking plenty home with us. The fries are amongst the best we have ever had, and we have had plenty. I have been excited and wanting to try this place for a while now. We went there and the menus look like paper place mats, but they take them away. That grossed me out; they can't wipe them off?!? They don't have prices marked for drinks, so I asked about the prices at the beginning. We got our food and the Philly cheese fries had full slices of green pepper that wasn't sauteed, so it was kinda icky. The kids meals were basic. The kids burger was completely plain!! No lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, or sauces. The rueben was the worst I have ever had. I would have rather gotten one from Arby's and it would have been cheaper. The waitress went on break and told us the gentlemen there would assist us further. They got the bill for us and read it off, including a Bloody Mary?!?! We informed them that we certainly didn't get that and the waiter was skeptical, yet none of our dishes were cleared?!?! Did the waitress get one for break?!? He removed it after hesitation.
