Surprisingly good. I hadn't been here since they added grill foods to their menu, 20+ years ago. Back then, I wasn't impressed, but I also wasn't writing. Great fries. Very good onion rings. Very good burgers and a, "...think this is the best Philly Cheese Steak I've had, and I've been to Moe's in Philadelphia", said another in our small group. Perhaps we will return for another try. Philly cheese steak??? More vege then anything hardly any meat.
    Jay R.

I had a Philly cheese steak with everything on it yes it looked amazing but once eating found out it's more vegetables than anything. Felt like a vege sandwich. With a very light taste of meat. I got Cajon fries that were nice and soft but it was lacking the flavor. Also had an 8oz redbull and Gatorade for a total price of $33.63 Definitely not worth the money. That get a couple stars cause of the friendly service.

Accessibility: pretty accessible place! They have disabled parking, the parking lot is paved and flat ground, and all flat ground to enter the building. The door to enter is a single pull door. There is seating inside but it is all high tables (not made for wheelchairs). There are a few tables outside, under a covered patio, with moveable chairs and wheelchair accessible tables. Experience: the food here is pretty good! I really enjoy the turkey sandwich and grilled cheese sandwiches. The kids like the hot chocolate! Masks: masks are currently mandated in California, and all the employees were wearing masks, but none of the customers coming in and eating inside had masks.

Very classic deli with an old school rustic country feel up in Valley Center. Tasty fresh vegetables, meat, and bread from friendly people.

Yummy! This is a great spot. Delicious burgers, fries, and super tasty shakes. Really nice owner and service staff. Food takes a little long to prepare, but that's just because they are short staffed due to COVID. Order at the counter and they will bring the food to you. Dog friendly outside on large patio. I'm a regular here and love it!

    Plexiglass still?

I've always liked this place. Admittedly for breakfast, coffee or the occasional pastrami sandwich. But today's visit has left me reconsidering my eatery options. The attendant behind the counter was barely interested in helping me. And when I expressed have trouble hearing him, it seemed he deliberately spoke softer. Then after I tried to sign the bill with a dead pen he spent 60 or more seconds taking it apart instead of offering me my drink so I could wait for my food. At least this elicited an apology as he realized he forgot I was standing there. This place is not managed, it's scooted along because of few other choices. That will hopefully change with all the new homes being built. Pity.

But when I want the good stuff without all the prep & cleanup, Wynston's is where I'm going. The quality is top notch & the creatve flavors they come up with are amazing. Service is always friendly. My favorite way to enjoy Wynston's is the ice cream flight with 4 small scoops of different flavors. While parking right in front of the place is often taken, there's a free garage nearby they validate for. So, if you love you some ice cream, head on over to Wynston's. It's really the best way to sample all their delicious flavors. I had to try their monthly flavor, 'What's Up, Doc?'. Carrot Cake Ice Cream? How?! Well, it's true. They turned a classic cake into delicious ice cream. The other 3 flavors... Obrigaderia Brazilian Truffle Lemon & the Blueberry Swirls Parmesan Apricot We couldn't pick a favorite flavor this time. The employee was being embarrassed in front of everyone in the store, which made for a really uncomfortable atmosphere. Because of the confusion, I ended up ordering through their website instead. Unfortunately, the drink was disappointing. They added a huge scoop of strawberry syrup that completely overpowered the drink. In the Valley View Casino, we dined at Patties and Pints. We ordered: APPETIZER: $18 - Firecracker Shrimp; ENTREES: $18 - Brandt Beef Burger (sweet potato fries); $30 - Glazed Salmon (veggies and roasted fingerling potatoes) $32 - Prime Rib (garlic mashed potatoes and veggies). DESSERT: $10 - Chocolate Cake ala Mode The food was amazing, but what made the evening EXTRA special was the superb service from Angelo. He was part of the celebration! He made good recommendations, and sang when he brought us chocolate cake for dessert that was unforgettable. We didn't have reservations and waited 45 minutes for our table. We would have waited and the buffet seems well worth it. We just know that in the future we will get on the list BEFORE we start playing vs after when we're starving). For starters, we were greeted and seated immediately by a wonderfully pleasant team. Our server, Paulina, was incredibly kind and attentive. Our orders were placed quickly and our apps took no time to make it to the table. Everything was hot when it arrived. We ordered: Beer-Brined Chicken Tenders - 10/10: AMAZING! The tenders have light breading, so its mostly meat without much batter, which is our preference. The buffalo sauce wasn't too spicy (for those who like buffalo flavor without an intense kick) and the Ranch and Blue Cheese were both really good. If you like blue cheese on the creamier side without a ton of crumbles then you will like this one. French Onion Soup - 7/10: REALLY GOOD FLAVOR! Would order again! I only gave it a 7/10 because the Swiss cheese was burnt in the middle, but the taste overall was still really good so it was easy to look past this. Rotisserie Prime Rib (Medium) - 10/10: I used to LOOOOOVE Longhorn Steakhouse's Prime Rib. It was one of the only places that I could get a solid prime rib with au jus and a well-seasoned outer crush without paying premium prices (e.g The Prime Rib). This was gooooood - great portion size with a tender texture at the right temperature. Not only was the steak cooked perfectly, but those may have been the BEST FREAKING MASHED POTATOES I'VE EVER HAD!!!!! They were so fluffy, creamy and buttery - literally perfect (to me). I don't ever order mashed potatoes, just not my thing, I prefer rice, but these? These are the one exception. I was super skeptical because other than not being a fan of mashed potatoes in general, I don't like horseradish and they were advertised as horseradish mashed potatoes. I am forever changed (when it comes to these specifically) - I even strongly considered ordering a side to go. Also, the asparagus was really good too! Cooked perfectly with a light crunch when you bite into it. Manhattan Deep Dish Pizza - 10/10: My husband ordered this and he was singing its praises the entire ride home! When it comes to pizza, my husband is picky - especially with crust. The crust HAS TO be right, and this one was that. The breading had a soft center with a crispy outer layer just the way he likes it. They also bring a mini spice rack with oregano, Parmesan and red pepper flakes and he was over the moon about that! It's such a big portion that two people can share it. He ended up taking the other half home and popped it right in the oven to have more as soon as we got home. And the cost! We paid less than $100 for our meal (one soda, two apps, and two entrees), and this was before we used the players club coupons*! Overall, we had a wonderful experience! Very spacious and clean with a staff that operates as a team (shoutout to Claudia who also helped us when we needed it). We didn't have any desserts or drinks this trip, but the menus for both look great! We had such a great time between the casino and dinner that we're already planning another trip back! *If you're a couple or a group visiting the casino for the first time, they offer a coupon for this restaurant when you receive your players card. We both were able to redeem our coupons ($10 each) and got $20 off our meal (which was already under $100 before the coupons).
