This place gets busy because the food is great, with very reasonable prices. It has a cafeteria-like setting where you stand in line to order and pick up your food at the counter when called. I recommend getting a table as soon as possible because it can get so busy. For me, dosa is the way to go, but everything has been good. Ambiance: They remodeled this place about a year ago and looks very spacious. This is more of a self service restaurant and super crowded during the evenings. This is a review after several visits. Their Masala chai and Irani chai never disappoint, reminds me of authentic chai from India. Also, their pastries are delicious, Ras malai pastry and gulab jamun pastry are my favorite. Their Onion samosas are good too! Although very oily sometimes! My only issue if with their other items on the menu, it's always hit or miss. We ordered gobi Manchurian and what we received was almost white colored gobi, half cooked in red sauce that was way sweet! I had a similar experience with their Gajar ka halwa, it tasted bitter and I realized it went bad! I reported to the restaurant staff and they quickly threw away the rest of that Gajar ka halwa batch. I unironically kind of love this place, but took away one star due to possible health code violations and people mentioning food poisoning. You will find that most of the customers are Indian, which for me is reassuring. The price range was 13-14 for goat curry, which had a lot of cartilage and bone, for me it was spicy and tasty. If you don't like bones in goat curry, might prefer a different place and it comes with a simple unseasoned white rice of avg quality. If you don't like spicy/want to tame it, I recommend mango lassi with it. As disclaimer I've been here only once. They don't really have seafood options. The people working here are no-nonsense and curt, which might be offputting to some people. They have a long menu, so might be good to review before you get to front to order lol. It was spacious and I'd consider being back, but I hope the place ensures sanitary food preparation, etc. They also sell a lot of cakes we didn't try. read more

Can't say it's bad but also not good. Flavour was decent but the spice took away the enjoyment. A lot of bones instead of actual meat. Really noisy for sure. It's an experience if you want the touch of India to it but if you're looking for just an Indian meal I'd suggest take away and if you're not a spice person I'd say this isn't your spot. This is an update on my previous review! I have decided to update them to a 2 star because of the inconsistent quality of the food and customer service and how unprofessional they are! All the male staff there are extremely polite and professional and respectful and all the female employees are extremely rude and unprofessional! God knows what's behind this stinky attitude! If you order chicken burger or samosa or tea, they do a good job. But if you order anything else like I did the other day, you're in for a big surprise. I wasn't asked about the spice level and when I brought it home I couldn't eat it because it was too spicy for me. When I called and explained that, they made me call 3 times to talk to three different people and having to explain it over and over! I felt extremely insulted as if I was lying for a $14 order! And then turns out they gave me the wrong order! I literally go there every day for tea and samosa. Their female staff are in desperate need of better training! To my surprise, next to the original establishment--which was smaller and less eye-catching--stood a larger, brighter venue. Given that it was a crowded Saturday night, the restaurant's ambiance was lively yet inviting, cleanliness was maintained, and the staff was amicable and attentive. The food was delightful; we tried various Dosas. Our only minor gripe was that the Sambhar lacked vegetables. I have visited this place many times and have tried their Onion samosa,Irani chai,plum cake,Dillpasand.All the items are either a hit or a miss each time and they lack consistency. Over the past year I have noticed that their Irani chai is loosing its unique taste as they have been adding a lot of condensed milk and now it tastes more like tea flavoured condensed milk rather than Irani chai. I have returned to country oven probably 5-8 times since my original review. I was crazy about their chicken 65 to the point I was getting it every other week. These last two orders make me believe they lost their chef and are struggling to find a replacement. My second to last order of chicken 65 was super mushy- not crispy at all and very disappointing. To summarize the flavors are amazing. The haleem was fresh and a perfect amount of spice and the sandwich was a spiced chicken salad mix between two pieces of bread. It was very good. Waiting for my food I saw about 200 people order and receive the magic chai they serve at this place. I'm not sure what it taste like but it must be crack. Tried Country Oven for the first time today and I am so glad I did! Best Butter Chicken I've ever had! 10/10

You can smell the food as soon as you enter the parking lot. I have been recommended this place because of Irani Chai (3.5/5), may be I am a bit critical. But it has the taste but didn't meet my expectations. We got 1. Onion Samosa (5/5) excellent flavor and the green chilies with it are a must. I will definitely get them and it's a must try. 2. Samosa chat (3.5/5) needs some more tamarind sauce and it lacked flavor. 3. Mirchi Bajji (5/5) Great taste and the chutneys are a good addition. 4. I used to visit this place mainly for Samosa and Chai in the evening time. I decided to give this place a try in this pandemic situation. To be honest, I didn't like they way things are managed inside. There's no six feet distancing followed, people who order vs wait are all in the same area. At a time ,there are more than 10 people in such a small place. Samosas as usual were good in taste. Early on a Sunday afternoon, I decided to try this place because have pastries in a sunny Sunday afternoon seemed like a good idea. First impression were not good as the door was dirty from many customers coming and going and the lights were off. I looked in the display case and saw few offerings. When I spoke with the staff, I ordered four different small cakes from the lust of flavor on the case. The staff they retrieved the cakes from the refrigerated unit that was towards the kitchen. When I went to pay, the staff said they preferred cash which was no problem. There is a sign that says $10 minimum for credit card purchases. I brought the cakes home to try them. I bought four different cakes: pineapple, strawberry, black Forrest and a chocolate. The chocolate was our least favorite; the other three flavors were great. The cakes were wonderful! It was almost like being back in Europe. Only three stars because there is a lot of improvements that need to be made. Mirchi Bajji (4/5) Looks like a fried jalapeno (it's actually a different type of pepper I'm told) with both spicy tomato-based and coconut-based chutneys. Pepper filled with diced onions.
