I like Paris Baguette for the pastries. I LOVED the Dubai chocolate mochi donut - the chewy texture and rich flavors were great! This location also was clean and a good coworking space. This Paris Baguette is located in the Arrowbrook Centre, with the usual selection of items you can find in other PBs. We usually go for their cronuts and their mochi donuts, but I just wished that they have either their release hours posted for the pastries or replenish with fresh ones; the items that we purchased were always cold, and, sometimes, stale. The space is narrow, but there's still room to navigate around the bakery cases to choose your items. A handful of seating is inside, but they do fill up quick with those who would like to enjoy their treat(s). The Dubai chocolate matcha latte was a really special treat: a matcha latte topped with chocolate cream, crunchy kataifi, crushed pistachios, and drizzled chocolate syrup. This Paris Baguette location was extremely crowded on a Sunday morning around 10 AM. They ran out of tongs and trays, but restocked after about 10 minutes. This location had a decent variety of pastries, similar to the Paris Baguettes I have visited before. Nothing special about this location specifically, but the quality is consistent with other chain locations. We got the egg sandwich, a strawberry bombolini, a blueberry fruit pastry, and the garlic croissants. The croissants were my favorite as they were flaky and flavorful (and surprisingly sweet). We've now visited this Paris Baguette twice. The first time, we picked up pastries to take home. The second time, we got pastries and some sandwiches. For what they do, they do it well. We liked the set up for choosing which pastries you want to get. Upon entering, to your left, you will see some trays, a wax paper dispenser and some tongs. There are instructions that tell you to grab a tray, put a sheet of wax paper on it, then grab a tong. Once you've done that, you can browse the pastry display. When you spot something you want, just slide open the entry nearest to the pastry you want. Once you are done, take your items to the cash register. If you want coffee, that's the place to order it. Next to the tray area, are refrigerated areas where you can, if you like, choose a premade sandwich or a salad. Also, water and soft drinks are available. We enjoyed the pastries we tried. Nothing went to waste :) The sandwiches impressed us, too. They say they're made fresh daily. I chose a caprese sandwich with French bread which had mozzarella, tomatoes, lettuce, balsamic vinaigrette and pesto in it. I liked this sandwich. However, the pesto and balsamic ended up along the side of the bread so the only to get a taste meant having to take a bite that includes the side. My husband chose to have an egg salad sandwich which was made with white bread. He was impressed with the generous amount of egg salad in it. It surprised him to find sliced cucumbers in it. His only complaint (and he said it was minor) was the egg salad was on the dry side. The upside was that it stayed intact while he ate it. The dining area is kept very clean, which we appreciated. The staff we interacted with both times was very friendly and helpful. As for parking, the lot is very tight and sometimes the sight lines aren't the best. We recommend that if you are able to do so, back your car into a spot as it makes it easier to see any oncoming cars. read more

Visted with family again and great desserts and sandwiches (need to have key lime pie). However a patron sitting and not ordering anything but decided to use up a plug on our table (rather than their own) and getting upset when one of us had to get up to order and accidentally unplugged spoiled the afternoon. He was rude and obnoxious and it's a pity when one of our party reported to management he could have done something more than apologize. Having visited this location on a few occasions, it is fair to say that Paris Baguette is a nice place to meet someone for coffee. However, it is not the most reliable café I have ever visited. On both occasions that I visited, they were out of plain black coffee. How does that even happen? The dining area is bright and welcoming. While the pastries look wonderful, I was never willing to try them based upon the price. While I'm sure a lot of effort goes into baking their wonderful delicacies, they just weren't in my price range. There were several customers in the dining area that seemed to be enjoying their selections. Honestly, I doubt that I'll be back to Paris Baguette. Given the coffee debacle, and the fact that their prices are a bit higher than average, I think there are better choices in the Herndon area to meet someone for plain black coffee. read more

The ham and hashbrown pastry is always good but has a tendency to be cold, I'd expect with the price the pastries here would be fresher. Paris Baguette is up there on on my go-to bakery list, so once i found out Herndon location existed, I needed to visit! This bakery is much larger than the McLean and Ashburn locations, but with the same baked goods. While I haven't been here during peak times, I would imagine it doesn't get packed like the other 2 locations. Staff greeted us as soon as we walked in, and again when we walked to the counter. They were very inviting and friendly. Since it's fall season at Paris Baguette (and everywhere else...), I had to check out their fall menu, which includes pumpkin. I wasn't a big fan of their Pumpkin Spice latte. It was a little heavy on the cinnamon and wasn't very sweet. I saw the pumpkin pastries, but honestly, none of them looked tempting. Instead, I picked up the Pain aux raisins ($3.99, one of our usuals) and the King cream donut ($3.99). The donut was delicious and not too sweet, but didn't have a lot of cream in the middle. The cafe is located right off of Elden St/Centreville Rd. There is plenty of parking, but just be careful when parking. It is slightly curved and might be hard to dodge any speeding cars. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I have to share my experience with Paris Baguette this time. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the food because I didn't get to try it. My birthday was last Friday, and my amazing kitchen manager surprised me with a beautiful cake from your bakery. After we finished singing, I realized I hadn't received a piece. When I stepped out of my office, I found my friend on the phone, clearly worried. I have a severe coconut allergy, which was mentioned during the ordering process. Thankfully, one of the team members noticed the cake had a coconut flavor, and the manager tasted it to confirm. If it hadn't been for their quick thinking, things could have turned out much worse! While I'm grateful for the care taken to avoid a mishap, this experience put a damper on what should have been a lovely celebration. This is by far my favorite Paris baguette in the northern Virginia area. I have gone to other locations but neither one beats this one. The staff is super friendly and is always meeting their customers needs with their recommendations and accommodations. I normally come here once a week to have a latte/dessert and partake with friends and or telework. Their location also has ample seating both indoors and outdoors and tons of plugs to connect your electronics. I have not only ordered most of what they offer but my family has come to enjoy their food and desserts as well and we now order from here for events and celebrations. This might be the biggest Paris Baguette I've been to. It's nice to have one so close to me. It's not nice my carb intake would be linearly increasing. The place is huge but half of that space is gone to display all the pastries in their glory. It works too. As soon as people enter the place, they are wowed by this display. I had to force some people away to get my pastries. The other half of the place offers you tables and seats. You may find it hard to park during peak hours as the parking lot in front is small but people usually come and go to pick up. They offer coffee and drinks too but I'm here for pastries only. The staff were friendly and helpful. There are plenty of seats but I didn't get that cozy feeling I'd get at other cafes to sit a longer while to read or to work. The lighting is too bright. VERDICT: Both Chateau and this place are at the same distance for me to get to. I'm unfortunately going to Chateau if I have to choose one. I'll still come here once in a while. read more

This recently opened up in the area and my girlfriend was excited to try it since she had it in NYC a couple years back. For a Saturday night, it was still stocked pretty well. There were still quite a few people inside too and this was around 7pm. The peanut butter cookies my gf picked were awesome! They had little chocolate pieces scattered throughout so it was like a Reese's cookie. The chocolate cake I got was good but not great. The service was quick. I don't know what it's like during a busier time but I imagine a tad slower. They were still putting out pastries at 7pm so that was nice to know there was still fresh stuff there. The ambiance was open and reminded me of Tatte. There's a ton of pastries in the middle of store so there's plenty to choose from but not have to wait on others to move. I'm sure we'll try this cafe out again since it's around the corner from us. It remains to be determined if other pastries hold up to the same quality of the peanut butter cookie or not. read more

I'm late to the party, but believe it or not I had never tried a cronut. I did a quick Yelp search for cronut and told my husband we were going on a spontaneous breakfast date to the new Paris Baguette. We had never been to a Paris Baguette before. There is an ample parking lot and the bakery is huge and very clean. We couldn't believe the variety of baked goods available and everything looked delicious. I probably would've chosen either the strawberry croissant, strawberry chocolate chip croissant, or raspberry croissant had I not been so set on finally trying a cronut. We ordered a regular cronut, nutella cronut, and chocolate croissant (we've made it a point to rank every local chocolate croissant for ranking purposes so had to try it!). We also ordered a nonfat cappuccino and almond milk iced matcha. Both of our drinks were fine - I wouldn't return here for the cappuccino but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I actually didn't like my nutella cronut (I thought it had too much cream filling, but that might be personal preference). The texture of the chocolate croissant was one of the best I've had in Herndon, but it needed more chocolate filling. I'm looking forward to returning and trying more pastries! Finally a Korean bakery in Herndon! I had been sad about how I'd have to drive at least 20 minutes out to go to one of these (yo girl couldn't afford a house in Chantilly or Centreville huhu...) and I'm happy there finally is one so close to home! There is a good amount of parking right out front, but I do see it maybe becoming an issue if the bakery is very busy.
