This restaurant is inside the TA Travel Center. Country Pride restaurants can be hit or miss with food and service, but this one was great on both. We ate here twice: once for breakfast and once for dinner. There are booths, tables, and counter seating. When you walk in, a sign says to seat yourself. The menu has lots of options, including all-day breakfast. The prices seem a bit high, but they're pretty standard for other TA restaurants around the country. First time here even though we only live a couple of miles from the restaurant. It is located inside of the TA Travel center truck stop. Nice and clean. Very friendly wait staff. The Breakfast was a good portion and tasty. The bacon was delicious, and the coffee was good. My wife liked her breakfast as well, as they were able to adjust a menu item since she is vegetarian. Overall I think that we will be back. If you are traveling, or staying at the casino, this is a good choice. read more

Ordered a breakfast sandwich from here when I got there I noticed container was very light opened it up they put one sausage patty on these too huge pieces of bread and I asked for extra cheese. it looked like the pinched off the cheese to put on the sandwich. Asked for the bread to be toasted bread was partially toasted overall temperature of the food was poor and I picked it up within 10 minutes of ordering I stopped eating at Country Pride restaurants in TA when I was OTR decided to give them a chance big mistake food quality and service had really declined. hate to say but the McDonalds across the road breakfast sandwich was more flavorful and filling read more

The food was pretty good. Ordered the country fried steak, chicken sandwich, and biscuits with gravy. Pancakes were fluffy on the inside, and crunchy on the outside. The steak was flavorful, and the gravy delicious. The service was amazing, our waitress was extremely nice and welcoming. Will definitely come again and highly recommend!! read more

Only thing I went for everytime is the bacon jalapeño ranch burger. Dumb . Ask for extra ranch. Tip is a must because it's so worth it.

This place was a total surprise. First of all, it's in a truck stop. I used to subscribe to the theory that any restaurant in a truck stop was going to be divey at best. So I would typically pass them up for "better" fare. Man now I wonder what I've been missing! After a long hot morning of flea markets & garage sales, my family and I were understandably famished. So we discussed potential stops. Well after about 10 minutes of shooting down each others suggestions, we figured we'd hit the road and just stop somewhere that came up. The first place we came to was the old Tekhi truck stop (now called TA Battle Creek). I've known about this truck stop for decades and it's never even crossed my mind to eat here. So anyway we stop for gas, and my bro suggests we may as well eat here. I'm extremely doubtful but mom is tired so she says "sure, why not.". So we head into the restaurant, called "Country Pride". Immediately we were struck at how clean and welcoming it was! I stopped in the restroom to wash my hands and it was huge, spotless, and super modern! By the time I came out, my family had already been seated. Our waitress was this amazing little lady who was so complimenting and accommodating! I know she was shilling for tips, but it really felt sincere :) She informed us that the best thing in the spot was their buffet. It sounded like a good move as we were all starving. MAN was it a good move! it wasn't the biggest buffet I've ever been to, but every dish was fresh, pipping hot, and TASTY! Great selection of southern home style comfort foods! Mac & Cheese, mashed potatoes, fried catfish, greens, meatloaf, fried chicken, buttered corn, fresh baked bread, etc.. man I'm getting hungry typing this! I couldn't fill my plate fast enough. Everything was cooked to perfection. As a matter of fact, my one & ONLY gripe was their very limited dessert selection, but it's a small gripe as I was really too full to indulge anyway :) To sum it up - Visit this spot! Food that will make you miss your grandma, and great service! Price for the buffet was around $12-13 if I remember correctly. I learned my lesson about being snobbish about truck stops! read more

Terrible breakfast. I had a build your own omelette. Onions and mushrooms inside the omelette were burnt, omelette was cold and hash browns were not cooked at all. Toast was burnt, just terrible. Buddy drove 47 miles out of his way for this "restaurant". I told him this place better be unreal. He pulls into a Coney Island and says we're here. Lucky I didn't speed bag him. We get seated in this cheap hotel restaurant (only ones there) and handed a Coney Island menu so I go with the Patty Melt. Waiter thought he was badass by trying to remember our order in his head, but was talking like he was baked out of his mind. There were gay quotes on every booth. I'm thinking to myself, Country Pride? More like Gay Pride. We then waited the same time it took to get to this shit hole (45 minutes going 90 mph) to get our food. This place was listed as a breakfast restaurant. It's in a truck stop. That's fine. No server to be found. Seated ourselves despite no sign telling me to seat myself. The place was nearly empty. At least 4 visible staff. It's 10am. Took 5 minutes to get a menu and longer still to get a cup of coffee. I shouldn't have been impatient. It was weak and tasteless. Well after tasting the food...not any better than the coffee. I ate the buffet. Rock hard biscuits. Flavorless over salted sausage gravy. Scrambled eggs were dry and bacon was limp and greasy. After I fished a price of ham out of the water it was swimming in, it was the best tasting thing on the plate. My husband ended up putting ketchup on things if that says anything. After we asked for "please could they make a little stronger coffee" we got new piss water. Who thought this was a good breakfast restaurant?!?? read more

The service was outstanding. The food was amazing. Corey was our server and he gave the best service we've had in a long time. They really know how to go above and beyond here. I had the prime rib and it was excellent. Whatever the Management staff at this restaurant is doing, keep it up. We will be back for sure and will tell all of our friends about it!
