It was on a side of a building that I didn't even realize a business was there! It's small and quaint, we went around 7ish or so and they were not too busy yet and had a wide variety of options for breakfast. The orange juice was given to me in a big glass, which is unheard of for a breakfast place, so that was great! I got the biscuits and gravy plate and my little one and I went to town, it was soo good!! You never know how the sauce will be but his one was seasoned just perfect and we had lots of leftovers. The food is good, servings are large. I come here with my sister whenever I'm in town. We have always loved this place. The 3 stars are not because of food or service. When I went to the counter to pay, I noticed a 15% gratuity already on my bill. Now, that is a shame. I tip way more than 15%, usually 25 or 30% if everything is good. Since a gratuity was added automatically, the server is the loser here. Automatic gratuities are BS especially for a party of 2. I will find another breakfast spot to spend my money in. read more

Some friends recommended this place as an alternative to the breakfast place we normally go to. I'm not sure if there hours of operation are set in stone or just whenever they feel like opening up. My wife and I arrived a few minutes before there posted 5:30a.m opening time and barely a light on in the establishment. I would think an opening time of that early, someone would be prepping, but even by 5:45 nothing.... Let's be honest. If you post a time, then honor that time or change it to reality. Even though she was busy she did not rush us to order one bit. I have a family of five and we were all indecisive because everything just looked yummy. But After our order was taken, it took about 10-15 min for our entrees to come out. The food was good. We all ordered something different from each other so we were able to taste each others entrees. The only reason why I am giving this place 4 stars is because my husbands entree came with pancakes and toast, which he never got. So i was a little bummed about that. When we got there, the sign said "Sorry we're closed." We walked in anyway because there were people inside eating. They took a while to serve us and when they finally did, they only gave us enough silverware for half of the party. I ordered a crepe which is supposed to be a very thin, sometimes even crispy pancake...the one here is more like a regular extra large pancake that was rolled up and filled with pudding. Have had a couple people tell me this place is great for breakfast but I'm afraid my first try was a disappointment. My mistake was ordering the chicken fried steak. Their idea is a thin breaded piece chicken (probably frozen), tossed in a deep fryer, and cooked until it is nearly as dry as jerky. These people do not know what chicken fried steak could be. The eggs and potatoes were OK but nothing here stood out. Staff is very nice and the place is comfortable but they need to work on the food. Just Okaaaaaay, located of Jack Tone rd in the Save Mart shopping center. It is clean, and conveniently located, and a nice to have another breakfast spot in little Ripon. Like I said it is a nice option but nothing that blows you away. Eggs, toast, burgers, fries, and your average menu. Tables and booths are small, don't try to have a group of 5 or more as you will be tightly squeezed in, and 4 or more you will be rubbing elbows. Service is slow, the store is little busy due to just opening but you will usually have to stop someone and ask for water, stop and to take your order, stop and ask how much longer, stop and ask for your bill. Food is just average or a bit above average. The place has potential, but if service continues to lack, and there's not a spectacular dish to crave...I'd head over to Franks cafe or garden cafe just the same. read more
