An Anonymous person recognized that there were a lot of Veterans with their wives. This Anonymous person paid for our whole groups dinner. It absolutely touched all our hearts. After a day of satisfying yard work it was nice to order out and pickup dinner instead of cooking. Looking up Countryside and seeing their menu was easy and up to date. Ordering over the phone was easy. We were politely asked if we could hold, and after a brief pause we were able to place our order. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with a side of fries. When we got home all I had to do was put the fries in the Air Fryer for a few minutes and they came out crispy and delicious as if they were freshly cooked. They are a shoestring variety, very lightly salted and not oily. The Philly was a pleasant surprise. My initial reaction on the first bite was 'Wow! That's a REAL Philly!' The roll was sliced, buttered and toasted. It held together perfectly. The skirt steak was sliced thin and cooked well. The onions are caramelized nicely and the bells are a good al dente. The Provolone is melted nicely and rounds out the sandwich flavors. The takeout packaging we received is compostable and recyclable. Met a coworker for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. They have an eccentric pizza menu, like nacho pizza or dill pickle pizza and of course they had all the traditional combinations I decided to try the nacho pizza and asked them to put a heavy handed amount of jalapeños on top. I was thrilled by how crispy and chewy the crust was, the nacho sauce went perfectly with the crust without being overpowering or gummy. There was a bountiful amount of toppings , and I could only eat two slices of the personal pizza as it was very filling. Definitely is on my list of places to stop and try and new combination the next time I'm in Veneta. Great service (although out of iced tea but not their fault) and cute setting, I can imagine it does get lively for dinner and the weekends. read more

I placed a to go order for a single pizza tonight and while the pizza was satisfactory, it was not ready for pick up at time I was told. In fact, it was not ready for another 30 minutes. I have given Countryside multiple opportunities thinking it was a bad day but there has been no improvement. I will no longer support a business that does not value my time or money. When I politely pointed out that we were told a certain pick up time, they took no accountability. Very disappointing. I would rather spend my time and money driving in to Eugene to purchase a higher quality pizza from an establishment that values me as a customer. read more

I have not been by in years, we were looking for a Pizza joint and we remember that The country side in Veneta has a large variety of Pizza options. So glad we took the time to drive over. We ordered a small veggie and pepperoni pizza, so many veggies and pepperoni the pizza options are vast, we also had a side of Onions rings, they were well prepared and the size of the serving was huge. The interior is very country , they have many tables inside on the left and right side of the building, in the bar area they also have ample seating. Outdoor seating is also available but it's very smoky. We were greeted by a few friendly employees, we were seated quickly, our order was taken soon but if you plan on stopping by for dinner , know that it will take a bit of time to get you food well worth the wait but be forewarned. read more

Their pizza crust was hard like cardboard and was just as tasteless. I honestly don't know how you can screw up pizza dough but this restaurant managed to do it. Their sauce was mediocre at best. We have become quite the regulars to Countryside. I would say a few times a Month, or more. Not just because we don't have many options out here, but they actually do have good food. We eat several different things from here, depending on the time of day, or what we are in the mood for. Their breakfasts are always really good, lately my go to has been the Californian omelet with avocado, and sourdough toast, and cut up fruit on the side. Lunches, or dinners has been many items. I love their pizza! Recently started to get a half Country side, added pineapple, and the other half jalapeño popper. It sounded weird, but was super amazing. They also have some of my favorite wings here. The Thai chili. I could just eat these for a meal, and be happy. Their taco pizza is pretty good, and thin crust. I almost hate to say this one, but on Friday, they have prime rib night, and it is pretty darn good. They actually have specials for every night of the week, they have a big sign that tells you what they are. We order the broasted chicken, and Jo Jo's a lot, because they are some of the best around, and convenient. They deliver to our home. It has been a while since I have had one, but their calzones are pretty darn good, and not to be overlooked as well. I know I have tried a few other things, but the things I have listed are what have stuck with me. The ladies that work there are very nice, and please give them grace on some of the days they are packed, because they can get very slammed in there, and some times they are short on either a cook on certain days that are supposed to be slower, and they end up busier than usual, and it's just a few servers some times. But not always. I would say more like beginning of the week. Weekends they are more staffed, or towards the evenings. read more

We have had a lot of deliveries over the years. For awhile everything was great. Food normally would arrive on time and orders were correct and great. The last maybe 4/5 months orders are missing things like burger toppings or dipping sides. The pizzas have been very crisp almost burnt. Burger buns have been drenched in sauce and very soggy. Fries are cold. And the order is normally arrives 40 min behind. The pizza is great when not on the verge of being burnt. We love that they deliver but it seems to be slipping. I was craving pizza so no better place than here! I ordered a small countryside special with light sauce. This is my favorite pizza from here!! Has pepperoni, Canadian bacon, and sausage. Soo yummy!! This one was made with lots of toppings, crust was perfectly crisp. Lots of cheese. So flavorful and delicious!! Others at our table were also impressed with their meals- ranging from Philly sandwich, chicken tenders, and salad. All looked beautiful and lots of food on each plate with sides and toppings. Yummy! One of the best visits we've ever had here. Not to mention our waitress was super kind and patient with us. We ordered a pizza & salad for delivery around 6pm, set to be delivered at 7:15pm-ish. At 7:40 we called & the gal on the phone said that the delivery driver had just left with our order & should be there asap (we live 5 minutes away from Countryside). We ended up having to drive to the restaurant at 8:30 & when my husband inquired about where our food was she said it was sitting in the kitchen & grabbed it for us. So it had never left the store when they told us it had! Our pizza was cold & the salad was soggy. Super disappointed in this place. If it's too busy for the current employees to handle, hire more people. Or retrain the staff. read more

We visit my family in Veneta each summer and always visit Countryside at least once. They have a wide variety of food to choose from, and excellent customer service. We have enjoyed their excellent pizza, large calzones, spaghetti, burgers, French dips, and very good drinks. Always great service and satisfying food. read more

This place runs hot and cold, sometimes good sometimes not so good. We usually have either the fried chicken or pizza and both are hit and miss. Been going here for a lot of years and they do not provide a consistent experience both food and service wise. We live out here on the far west side so always try to spend our money locally and not be demanding wankers/haters even bending our 3 strike rule for not returning. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced to date, and I've had some horrific customer service. Besides being put on hold for over 20 minutes, my wife asked to talk to the manager who makes excuses for the long wait, cuts my wife off in the middle of explaining what the problem was, and instead of attempting to make it right he cancels our order.....tells us to go somewhere else and then hangs up on us!!! Blatant disrespect towards their customers and completely unprofessional. If there was a negative 10 star rating that's they deserve. DO NOT EAT THERE! My family and I come here about once a week or every other week. We love the huge jojos and their pizza is unbeatable. My favorite dish, the fettuccine alfredo, is often hit or miss, but usually hit. My kiddo loves their pancakes. We continue coming because the food is great, it's certainly not for their poor customer service. We love their rolled crust pizza. The beef topping is very good. Most places have a beef product that is large pieces. The beef topping is in small pieces which makes a great addition to the pepperoni. Turns out crispy and yummy! read more

We ordered pizza for delivery from this establishment and were shocked. We got the Alfredo vegetarian calzone and pesto chicken pizza. The calzone was basically all uncooked vegetables like I would receive on a hummus plate. The chicken pesto was a previously cooked day old pizza. We've had plenty of left over pizza as many do to know the difference between old and fresh pizza. It was cooked and reheated. Not made to order. We have ordered pizza and food plenty of times from other eateries and this was by far the worst. We know that pizza may not be hot upon delivery and or all the things with grub hub but honestly there needs to be some quality checks done in the kitchen. I can't believe my partner talked me out of Pizza Hut or Abby's which would have been more satisfying and edible. Never again. I'm a pizza person but I would rather pay for frozen pizza so at least if I'm disappointed I'm only paying $10 at most. read more

I don't understand when people complain about this spot, because every time I have gone to Countryside I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The serving staff is so kind and efficient. The Salisbury steak pizza may or may not be the best thing I've ever put in my mouth...... Their deep fried Mac and cheese bites are a guilty pleasure of mine. But let's talk their breasted chicken!
