Today I felt like to have gone to heaven. Walked into Pegasus for the first time in a while to get a late lunch and the wonderful Lady Bakers were there again. I saw Hawaiian on the menu so I ordered it alongside the seasonal salad which came with strawberries and chèvre and pecans topping the spring mix, all brought together by a pretty delicious dressing. Once again the Hawaiian pizza came out piping pot and did I mention if you didn't do the lunch special it would only be $4.50? How is that even possible... But so much gratitude for an amazing slice at an affordable price. Our lunch special is a slice pizza, a truly delicious salad, and a drink for $10. Pegasus delivered with delicious, hot, garlicky slices on a perfectly crisp and chewy crust a fresh, thoughtfully crafted, and HUGE salads (I got a half size and ate on it for three consecutive meals). The only "ding" I will give them is their focaccia, which was toasted to the point of being a little bit dry. Again, I have to say that I'm not a fan of the fast-casual concept, particularly being required to bus my own table, but that is a matter of personal preference and by no means any sort of assault on the business as a whole. My husband and I visit this pizza place quite often now that we have moved to this neighborhood. I love the convenience of a quick and relatively cheap bite to eat in the Oakway Center so that I can keep getting my shop on! I've been probably a dozen times and have consistent experiences with the food and staff. The staff is friendly and welcomes you right when you enter. The lunch specials are clearly posted on a chalkboard to the right of the register. I like to make sure to get my punch card punched every time I visit! You absolutely cannot go wrong with a cheese or pepperoni pizza and side salad for lunch. It can be as cheap or expensive as you want it--mixing and matching pizza and salad combinations. Solid pizza for a Friday evening in. Put in my phone order for a half combo and half Hawai'i 5-0 which came out to $21 and was quoted around 20 min. This location is in Oakway Center next to the Nordstrom Rack. Lots of parking and really easy to get to. Picking up was easy. My order was ready once I got there and they give cheese and peppers upon request. Hand sanitizer next to the register which was convenient. Terrible experience here. Only giving a second star (instead of just one) because the pizza was actually okay and *some* of the servers were friendly. My sisters and I visited Pegasus Pizza after a football game. We were visiting from out of town and had a long drive home, so we wanted to get dinner before our long trek. We weren't naive - we knew there would be a wait anywhere in town for food after a game; Pegasus Pizza told us 30-40 minutes for our single large pizza. 55 minutes later I saw a table who ordered 2 spots after us get served their food, so I visited the front to see if our order had gotten lost. The young server who investigated for me made it obvious that our order had been lost, but that they would make it next and have it out in 10 minutes. She offered me a soda for the mistake - I declined and asked for an order of garlic bread instead because we had waited so long and were hungry - she said she would put it in the order to come out with the pizza. I continued to wait at the counter and the manager came out to check on the front desk - the young server who had investigated for me filled him in on my lost order and he came to talk to me. He started with, "hey, so there's an hour wait anywhere on game day - there's no avoiding it, it's just to be expected. Your pizza only has six minutes left. Can I get you a soda?" I declined the soda offer (again) and told him I'm okay with waiting, but that folks who had ordered after us had received their food so I figured our order had been lost and I needed to check on it. He said, "it's just got six minutes left and we'll bring it out. Where are you sitting?" NO apology. He GASLIT me. HE TOLD THE SERVER NOT TO GIVE US THE ORDER OF GARLIC BREAD. Our pizza came out nearly 25 minutes after I initially checked in with the server. NO garlic bread with it. I've worked in customer service in retail and in food, and now I'm in healthcare. We are all humans, we all make mistakes - BUT DON'T LIE ABOUT IT AND DON'T GASLIGHT PEOPLE. JUST FRICKEN OWN UP TO YOUR MISTAKE (and care enough to make it right!) This is the absolute worst business. We waited in the parking lot for 30 minutes with 2 kids for them to open. Both were very delicious with complimenting flavors and I just loved the fresh basil on top of the Little Italy. The crust is hand tossed, which makes for a thinner crust. It's not so thin were it feels like you're eating a cracker with toppings though. Every slice was loaded with toppings and I left this place very satisfied. I would most definitely come back! I arrived this morning at 11 am just as they opened. There were two women working. They obviously were not prepared for a customer despite the fact they were open. Neither employee greeted me, the only acknowledgment I was given was a glare by the woman who was manning the cash register. I stood there for 5 minutes while they conversed with each other about the pizza toppings. I would have been happy to wait a bit if I was asked to, but to be completely ignored as if my wanting food service was an inconvenience for them was beyond the pale.
