I am writing this review not to detour anybody from coming to this restaurant , I honestly feel like it has got so much potential. Unfortunately I don't feel like they're completely hitting the mark. I went in for dinner, ordered the chili cheese hotdog, which was decent other than the fact that the hotdog was barely warm, and the chili was barely warm. I don't know much of anything about who is cooking in the back, but from the few experiences I've had so far it does seem like it must be somebody with little to no culinary experience maybe just a basic home cook which is fine, but there is something to be said about taking a lot of pride in your work, even when using canned and prepackaged ingredients. There were two young ladies, working the front counter, which both of them were extremely nice, easy to order from, and seem to give a good customer service, which didn't make the experience that more pleasant . After we ate our dinner, we went back up to the front counter to buy my daughter a scoop of ice cream and unfortunately, there was no one working there to be found. I did call for someone thinking they may be in the back where the kitchen is, and from what I could tell they were not there. After a few minutes of saying hello and excuse me, if there's somebody there, a man did walk up and proceeded to get the employees who seem to be all in a separate back room together, which is very concerning only because anybody could have walked in and potentially taking anything they wanted, since there was nobody looking out for the front.. One of the other people I was with had requested a condiment as her food was being handed to her but unfortunately, the waitress never brought it, nor did anybody ever come to our table to ask if everything was OK or if anything else was needed, and there was no one to ask since no one was at the front where we could've even requested anything from .... I will say this restaurant is located in a very convenient area, so I definitely will be back, and I truly hope that some of these issues are addressed because like I said previously it seems like this restaurant has every potential to be packed and honestly should have been on a Saturday night, but unfortunately, there was only one other table seated at the time . On a positive note as stated before the customer service is truly great other than them not checking on us and I do enjoy their portion sizes... I have not left hungry so that also is a huge plus and I do appreciate them taking portion sizes into consideration . read more

Lovely staff and great food. My husband and I stopped in today with our dog in tow. We were able to sit on the covered patio with him while we dined, and the sweet staff brought him a water bowl. I had a meatball sub, and my husband had Philly cheesesteak. Both were great. Our dog had a hamburger patty that was only $1. We topped it off with peanut butter pie and their homemade ice cream. Both were delish. They gave our dog a pup cup with ice cream and a dog bone--definitely Fido Approved. We will certainly be back. 2 Thumbs up! read more

All I can say is bad management. I was really excited to try this place out. They say they have pizza, pies and ice cream. When you walk in, you order at the counter and they bring it to you. The cheese bread was real garlicky but good. They brought out ice cold marinara sauce with it. I hope it was designed that way. The pizza was subpar; I'd like to try the thin crust next time. They were out of sugar so your couldn't get sweet tea then, they told the table behind us they were out of marinara sauce; guess we got the last. Then when checking out, I heard the workers saying they were out of cheese and paper to take orders. I tried to order some ice cream and one of the workers kept interrupting the order taker saying "I'm quitting". The ice cream tasted freezer burnt. It had an ice crunch to it. The chocolate pie was ok. They didn't have many choices at all. I wouldn't go back for the dessert but maybe to try the wings and thin crust pizza. The owners need to get a handle on the staff and their inventory issues. read more

When I first went there, the food was great and I loved it. But when I read the comments on their page to the innocent bystanders that have simple suggestions, I hesitated to come back. Ever. My husband and I are new to Greeneville and are both vegan. We cannot express how grateful we are to CLP for offering non-dairy cheese on their menu! And the pizza is delicious. We have never eaten inside the restaurant, but the staff we interact with on the phone and in the restaurant at pickup are very friendly and welcoming. Literally the worst service ever. We waited for our drinks to come for ever, and didn't receive them until after the food arrived. One person never got their water even after asking for it 3 separate times. It took 20 minutes to get all of the orders on the table because the food was brought in batches. 3 orders were wrong and they tried to give us another tables sandwich. One of the servers had a poor attitude the entire time and was rude to top it off. Is it too much to ask for you to do your job, especially when we're one of 3 tables in the whole joint. I worked in dood service for 9 years have never even seen such poor service. Also, the fries were greasy and limp. HOWEVER, the sandwich I ate was good which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. Edit: I forgot to add that the girl at the counter just stared at us when we walked in. No greeting, no can I take your order, nothing. Sadly eaten here a number of times. Tonight order went in at 7:07. Burger and a pizza. Pizza came out at 7:30 burger still hadn't come out and it's been 45 minutes. So my wife has already eaten before I even got my food. Looking at 6 tickets On the counter and at least 5 people in the kitchen. I can cook a burger in 10 minutes or less at home so no idea what takes them so long. Definitely don't come here if it's busy or order online before you get here. Also there's nobody bussing tables so there's plates everywhere. Sort of a bit disgusting to see dirty plates all over along with the fact they can't get food out in less than an hour. We've told people this place was good but sad to say they have severely messed up. Even had my parents with us and they were not impressed as a first visit. read more

01-17-20 Arrived at restaurant, and immediately noticed the workers arguing with each other. We should have left then, it only got worst. We ordered a pizza and the power salad. They called us to pick up the order at the counter. The salad was missing most of the ingredients the menu said it had. The pizza was a thin crust. The pizza tasted like cardboard with cheese and a tiny bit of tomato sauce. A better pizza could be bought at the supermarket. Little Cesar makes a better pizza. The salad had absolutely no flavor. The dressing was mixed in already, and the taste is indescribable (bad) PLEASE STAY HOME THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE. I should have read the previous reviews which also are bad. read more

Formerly Gina's (which was great!). New place appears to be extensively remodeled inside and looks nice. As is the case with any of the Nolichucky area restaurants, this place gets quite crowded around dinner time, but has plenty of parking. I am not sure how I feel about the deli style ordering as you walk in, but so be it. Overall food arrival time is fairly slow. I had never been before, but noticed everyone (else) was having pizza. Our party being new to the place ordered several things from the menu. Not one of us walked away impressed, and a couple received food that was on the verge of needing to be sent back. This is one of those places you want like so badly. I will go again and order pizza, and see if we can squeeze another star out of it. read more

Wanted winter salad, but it has nuts $ onions which I'm allergic to. Asked them not to put onions & nuts. Guy says: lady our salad are premixed & we can't take anything out. Best Pizza in the area. We try to go at least once a month. With their varied seating possibilities, inside, covered outside, completely outside we were able to continue enjoying their food through the pandemic using the pickup window. Now that things are getting back to normal it is good to be able to actually use the inside seating in hot weather. A friend and I ate at County Line Pie Restaurant the evening of 11/06/19. I chose the Classic Burger Combo on the menu with modestly high expectations but after receiving the mutilated Burger realized I had made a terrible selection. The hamburger was really small and the two thin burgers were burned to a thin black crisp. I should have asked for another burger but decided to attempt to "make do" with it. I determined fast that a burned black burger has next to no taste. It is my guess that nibbling on a charcoal briquette would taste about the same if not better than those two supposed burger patties. It is more than difficult for me to imagine how those black, scorched and disfigured black patties passed the Cook's inspection and made it out of the kitchen. I humbly warn other unsuspecting customers to just say no to any hamburger that County Line Pie offers for sale. On a positive note, the Steak Fries were very good and there was nothing wrong with the RC Cola. read more

In addition to our food order, my friend ordered and paid for a piece of butterscotch pie, while there was a whole pie and part of another in the display case right in front of us. When they called our name to pick up the food, they told him they were out of butterscotch pie, but right next to him, they were giving the whole pie to a woman who had been in line behind us! We have eaten here 3 times. You pay for your food yo front and wait for your name to be called. Then you pick up your food. Tipping must be optional and pays for battle fatigue. The employees behind the counter overrun each other. Food is par and is farm to table. Service is poor and no wait staff. I asked the guy at the cash register that I got the wrong salad, I ordered the power salad, I got the house salad, no apologies for the mixed up. I was so excited about this place when I heard it was going to open. Sadly, I went there twice with friends and will not go back again. They are way overpriced and the food is not impressive. I love pizza and their's is terrible. We tried both the city and the County crust and neither is good. The city crust was like cardboard. The pizza was overdone and the crust was like cardboard. It's tasteless. I hate that you have to go in and order at the counter and then find a place to sit. It's all so rushed. What a shame that you can't go in and sit down and get waited on. The staff isn't helpful and they won't specialize anything. You get your food exactly as it comes and they won't add or remove any ingredients. They were overcrowded when they first opened and now I notice that very few cars are in the parking place when I drive past. I still have to drive to Johnson City to get good pizza. While the food itself was treated with care, the employees working there are not. While enjoying a late lunch with my family (with young children) the manager/owner(?) was heard shrieking at employees (Gordon Ramsey style). We all stopped eating and looked at one another as his string of belligerent profanities continued. I jokingly asked our waitress if this happens often and she only half smiled and shrugged, I then asked if our favorite server was still working here and was informed he had quit. I am unsure of what had happened to enrage the owner so, but from the nervous look from my waitress and the scurrying of the busboys; I am certain this is a very toxic work environment. As a business owner myself I know the value of an good employee. I have only the best for County Line Pie (as it was one of our favorite spots)but we will no longer be eating here nor recommending them to friends or family. The best recommendation I can give is that the owner severely needs some manager training or he will quickly learn the mistake of not valuing those who work for him. read more

The best description I can give my experience here is a dumpster fire. Buckle up people. This is a long one. Went with my mom, husband, and 2 kids on Saturday evening. Apparently this was the first weekend the dining room was open. There were 3 tables with people when we ordered and sat down. First we were charged $3 for 2 kids waters. After 2 people got involved and 20 minutes later that was resolved and credited back. It took about 15 minutes to get drinks. 50 minutes to get a cheese pizza for the kids. Finally after an hour and 5 minutes we got salads. About 5 minutes after that 2 out of 3 entrees arrived. Only problem was they were cold. And not what we ordered. We were beyond frustrated at this point of course. Kids were long done with their pizza and ready to go. My husband told them to box up his Alfredo to go whenever it was done. So for the grand finale after an hour and 15 minutes of waiting the manager brought out the eggplant Parmesan we had ordered. (This was one of the daily specials). She explained that they were behind and understaffed today and we would not be charged at all. She even boxed up the wrong orders they brought out first for us to take home. I was feeling better about the place since she was trying to make up for the bad experience. Then I cut into the eggplant to find it was actually zucchini! No eggplant at all. ‍ read more
