First off, I personally don't like sandwiches from coffee shops. But couplet coffee for the win! We stopped by this little shop off of Fig and got some sandwiches. It's very cute and the service was amazing. I wish I got her name because I thought she was the owner based on how she presented herself and knowledge of the shop. I can't wait to come back and try those delicious sandwiches again. I think I'll definitely sit down and try some coffee as well.

I've been waiting for this location to open up for months. Now that it's finally here, I am a happy gal. This location is inside a big facility building, where my dermatologist is located. They did have some yummy free samples out, and let's just say it was quite delicious. It's very spacious, and a lot of seating. So no need to worry. As far as parking, I did see a few parking spaces in the front. But I'm not sure if they have a designated area or not. I've had the pleasure to experience two of the staff members, and they both were very very kind. Very prideful of where they work. And also just very welcoming. I look forward to my next visit to the dermatologist, just so I can stop by and taste their coffee. :)

I really wanted to like this place, but sadly the matcha didn't work for me at all. I ordered the Gulab, which comes with ceremonial matcha(questionable) with honey, saffron, rose, and cardamom. I also opted for oat milk. The matcha flavor was very bitter, low quality, and tasted like old grass. After a few sips, I couldn't finish it and had to toss it which was disappointing. Unfortunately the drinks don't live up to the branding or the price point. I will say the barista was friendly, and the space itself is a good size and nicely laid out which is why I'm giving it an extra star. That said if you're coming specifically for matcha, I wouldn't recommend it based on my experience.

Been to this place twice so far and the barista is always super kind! Their warm and welcoming energy helps make this coffee break worth it during a long work day. First time, I tried the Banana's N Cream Matcha. Unfortunately, it was a little disappointing. I could barely taste the banana and the matcha was quite mid in comparison to a lot of other places. Plus for the price, around $8 a drink, the drink is a bit small and with a half cup of ice, it doesn't feel like you get a lot of the drink itself. However, this time I got a Neapolitan (seems like it was a part of a speciality or new menu), and it was DELICIOUS!!! Truly felt like I was drinking a dessert while still having the essence of the espresso that gave the coffee kick I was looking for. Perfect blend of strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla cream flavors. While the size was the same as the matcha, this one felt much more worth the price point. This drink made me excited to go back and try some more.

    The vibe... clean and welcoming.

My quest for the best espresso tonic in DTLA brought me to Couplet Coffee, where I found the staff to be SUPER friendly and welcoming but... ...unfortunately, it was THE WORST version of the drink I've ever had. Usually, an espresso tonic comes with a slice of grapefruit to give it that citrus bite. No real citrus here, yet it still had a fake citrus taste and an overly syrupy espresso flavor, making it undrinkable, making me do the unthinkable... return coffee! They were nice enough to offer me a refund, but I literally had to wash my mouth out with water to get rid of that taste when I got home. No bueno!

Whoa, I can taste the Espresso, the Madagascar Vanilla and the slight sweet taste of cherry. Was quickly greeted with a smile and a "Hello". Cashier complimented my jacket with all my pins. Nice and thank you (Aww shucks) Ordered quickly & it was made in a jiffy. Tap pay accepted. It's the standard now a days. It's a warm day in DTLA and I needed something after walking to the USPS. I wanted to support a small business & this place had me with their sandwich sign board on the sidewalk. Its different. It's cool. Love the vibe in here. Great music. Some law students are here doing some work. I'm right across the street from the LA Bar Association. So duh. It's a 1 1/2 blocks away from LA live. What's cool about the street are the addresses. I'm seeing 777, 888 all over the place. I should buy a lottery ticket. Ya never know. I could retire & travel & write reviews for a living. There, I spoke it into existence. I'll let God & the Universe take over. I'm at my happiest traveling. It's good for my Mental Health. Until the next review. See you on Yelp or Insta.

There was only one employee working, and she was taking customers' orders while simultaneously preparing my drink. She would stop making my beverage each time someone new came in to take their order, then go right back to handling my drink without washing or sanitizing her hands. Watching someone alternate between handling the register, interacting with multiple customers, and preparing drinks without proper sanitation was concerning and made the experience feel unsanitary.

Came to try the banana matcha. the matcha is pretty good, not too sweet, but the cinnamon was way too strong. Small shop, but nice outdoor space. Service was fairly quick too.

Food is ok but overpriced. We had the burritos; one of each. The veggie burrito comes with potatoes but they were dry; not very tasty. Also the burritos are very small for the $14. Price. I wouldn't recommend those. They do have other pastries and bagels. Possibly best to try those next time. Their strawberry matcha is good and the service is fine. They have tables and the ambiance is not noisy so the space allows for someone to work on a laptop.

I have been here 2 times. The second time was better than the first experience wise. First time I ordered the vanilla iced latte. My second time I ordered a pumpkin spiced latte. Both times drinks were great. But the staff was nicer and more welcoming the second time I went. Drinks are on the pricier side so it's a treat. I taste the quality.

I took my partner here for our monthly pastry date. I just heard about this place and figured we should check it out. The space itself is super cute and the staff behind the counter were very friendly. Our drinks came out quickly for mid-morning on a Thursday. I appreciate that they have seating inside as well as a few tables outside. I got the Choco Banana - it was decadent with chocolate ganache, coconut cream, banana cream, and banana chips. My partner got the Gulab espresso. The cardamom flavor was really nice. I didn't get any of the rose notes in it (which is my preference because I find rose too floral).

So I looked for a coffee spot closer to the restaurant at which I could do some work. Alibi Coffee is only 10-15 minutes from the restaurant, which made it a good candidate--and off I went. It sits on the corner of Washington and Raymond Avenue. While there's one-hour parking on Washington, Raymond seems to offer unlimited parking (other than street cleaning days)--the friendly, helpful barista directed me over there. Inside, it's a tranquil, clean and comfortable environment that mixes contemporary touches with brick industrial vibes. I'm in my cream top era, so I decided to get their Trademark Cream Top Latte, which uses cold brew and house made cream with a hint of brown sugar. The drink was smooth and not too sweet and, all in all, extremely enjoyable. Next time, I might try the Salted Caramel Cream Top Latte. I was warned it was a bit sweeter, but I'd like to see for myself. Wi-Fi seems solid, and there are plenty of outlets (yay!), so this was a great work spot. I'd definitely return anytime I needed to be in this area.
