A friend recommended this place and it's close to the climbing gym I go to so I had to check it out. Got the flight of coffee to try and did not disappoint. I enjoyed both drinks and was able to taste the flavours they were going for. Service was great, friendly and quick staff. It's also a good spot to chill and study. Not too loud.

I love this shop. It's simple, comfortable, and quiet, and the people are very friendly. It's a really good place to work or write, and they always have interesting lattes and local made pastries.

I am a coffee snob and I am so glad I found Course Coffee Roasters. The shop is super cute and quaint located in French Town. They have a nice selection of fresh pastries from Mr Meowski's. A lot of their syrup for their coffee is made in house and it makes such a difference in the quality of the coffee. I got a banana nut latte and it was delicious! By far the best latte I have had in a long time and super unique. Course Coffee Roasters is defintley worth checking out!

The Brazil Pour Over was delicious. The service worker also allowed me to try all 3 cold brew options for a taster. One was Uganda and fruity and the other a nitro which is a more smooth cold brew, followed by a much different cold brew that was less fruity. I am a cold brew fanatic but wasn't keen on these as they weren't deep enough like a cold coffee. But others may love them! I instead opted for the Brazil which was delicious. Inside is cozy! Don't mistake the outside small feel for lack of seating as they have two rooms with plenty. Great staff as well!

Such a neat coffee shop. My son and I came here to get coffee. Very unique decor inside. Small menu but everything you could want. It is not like a well known coffee stop so please be patient. Keep in mind it can take some time to get your order. We offered three coffees and it took about 15 minutes. We ordered a vanilla, mocha and cherry flavored ice coffees.

Cute little coffee shop on Main St. in St. Charles. We tried the toasted marshmallow latte and the bourbon latte (both seasonal drinks) and they were good! Not too sweet and presentation was really nice. It's a nice place to study or just hangout and chat. There are 2 rooms so usually there is enough seating. Very warm and cozy!

They serve flights! And their syrups are house made! Soooo good!

Course Coffee Roasters is a MUST!!! They serve delicious coffee sourced from around the world. They make their own syrups which only add to their already delicious coffee they roast themselves! The vibe is so chill and it just makes you want to slow down and enjoy the little things. The owners are so kind and helpful. They serve pastries from a local bakery. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I would call this an experience and you should definitely check it out!

This place is a favorite of my husband and I's on a Sunday morning walking around French town. In addition to coffee they have good local teas. They have a good selection of coffees and some pastries. A must try!

    Best. Coffee. Period.

This coffee shop is the quench essential idea of a very friendly delicious comfortable coffee shop. Not pretentious at all. Perfectly decorated like your favorite cozy rooms. You feel at home and not pressure to leave. But again everything I ordered was absolutely delicious. Coming back again and again.

Get your caffeine cravings filled at this relatively newer coffee shop in the French town area of Saint Charles, Mo. No free refills but $1 off your second fill up. Great location and setting just North of downtown historic St. Charles.

We ordered iced Thai Chai Lattes--delicious! The scone was authentic and not too sickly sweet. The baristas are personable, helpful, and sweet. I'll be back!

    A flight of brewers choice

What a wonderful gem. I'd be here more often if I was closer. Brendan is such a gracious barrista. I ordered a brewers choice flight. We chatted while he ground and did pour over of three unique coffees. We also talked beans, skills, and roasting. The brewers choice is the way to go. Brendan gave me three unique flavors. All were good. I'll be buzzing all day! The environment is very laid back and cozy. Since it is an old brick home sounds do carry but not too bad. Nice to know there is a place good coffee and good conversation go together.

Absolutely fantastic and angelic little coffee shop! One of the most intimate, cozy, and chill coffee house environments I've experienced in quite some time. Love the ambience and layout of the place. Super clean, even the bathroom :) The coffee was absolutely delish as well. I got the flight - 3 coffees. All were perfectly roasted and bursting with immense flavor. There is an abundance of choices from which to choose! If traveling through the area or even if you're a resident of St Charles, you will not be disappointed in what CCR has to offer. A near perfect example of what a coffee shop should be! Well done CCR!

The inside of the café, it was super cute. Lots of tables and open space for working or catching up with friends. They had a lot of yummy looking baked goods to choose from. I got the Matcha X Matcha from the 2026 winter menu. It was the perfect amount of sweet but still being able to taste the Matcha, which I really appreciate. I also got a cherry danish that was soo good. And if you tried love to try a flavored Matcha or some of their coffee. After I ordered the drink and pastry came out super quick, which was really exciting. Sometimes small cafés take a while to make drinks, especially Matcha. I will say the barista was nice, but not super friendly or talkative. I might've asked some more questions about the Matcha options, but it didn't seem like she wanted to have a conversation. I get not everybody is super chatty and she was a good barista, but I think being a little bit more outgoing makes a barista great. Overall 10/10 will be coming back if I'm in the area.

Customer service was alright, but I think I'm too much of a millennial for the new gen-z customer service now (lol) My husband ordered a raspberry iced tea and I ordered the pistachio latte. I absolutely loved the vibes and here!

I'd suggest that people were there to visit downtown St. Charles, or whatever it's called, which has a certain old-timey charm to it, but everything else was closed--presumably until later in the day, but who knows. That fentanyl is a menace. Parking could be a pain, if it's not the wee hours of the morning on a weekend, and you're not ambulatory enough to walk from a block or two over, and yet you're going to get essentially the equivalent of a milkshake and a donut. Inside is rustic, inviting and larger than you'd think, with an upstairs area that I didn't bother to explore, due to lack of curiosity. We had a larger group and ended up pushing a few smaller tables together, plus a few chairs we borrowed from other tables. No one seemed to mind. The key is not to ask first. That mentality will take you far in both the world of finance and dating. I'm kind of over ordering food from coffee shops, where they're obviously just throwing something in the microwave and charging you $10 for it, but I needed something to eat. I'd just gone for a run. Their burrito looked like the textbook definition of cultural appropriation, but it also looked like it might not be half bad. I had their equivalent of an Egg McMuffin, called Ron's Breakfast Sandwich, or something to that effect. When I hear the name Ron, I of course think of Sasso from Carlito's Way, but that probably says more about me than anything else. I'm assuming he didn't have anything to do with this. Essentially, this was a store-bought English muffin, a surprisingly generous and delicious helping of cheddar cheese, a few slices of seemingly prepackaged black forest ham and a fried egg. It was fine for what it was. Could the egg have been salted, could the muffin have been buttered and could the ham been an actual slice of Canadian bacon, or even better, American bacon? Sure, but I went into this with low expectations. The cheddar was melty and delicious, and weirdly abundant, but processed American cheese would have been more fitting for this kind of sandwich. You'd think a guy named Ron wouldn't object to processed foods. The caramel frappe I had was amazing. I got it with whole milk and whipped cream. I didn't bother to check and see if they charge you extra for whipped cream, which is the kind of crap some of these places have been known to pull. I got the 16 oz instead of the 20 oz, but it was probably still enough to take a day off the end of my life (when I don't need it as much anyway fwiw). Sometimes, when a food item tastes good enough, you can just tell it's not good for you, and that was the case with this drink. It was decidedly rich. I'm never in this part of town, and if I were, it would be at night, natch, but if things ever get to the point where they're clearly trending in that direction, I might start stopping by on the reg and getting that caramel frappe just to speed along the process of my demise.

And you can tell, by peering into the cases, the time and passion it took to make everything. It was presentable, colorful, decadent, and difficult to choose any one thing because I wanted to sample it all. From the rosemary goat cheese quiche, to the Hummingbird cake, to slices of pie. I opted to try the macarons. They are my favorite thing. Their macarons are lovely. Just the right amount of crisp and give, the texture has a great chew, and fillings were delicious. Hands down going to become a place I go for macarons. The German Apple Cheesecake was also stellar, just enough tart and sweet to provide balance.
