I had a positive first experience here today. My car has had a "wobble" when I drive around…read more15-20mph for the last week after a road trip to Richmond. I assumed a bent rim may be the culprit and brought it in around 12:45pm today to have it looked into. The fellas inside were nice enough and I was able to quickly give my info and drop off the key. I ran home and they called me about an hour later with a diagnosis of a blown tire. I had the guy quote me on several tires since they didn't have the exact match to my other three and settled on the mid-range replacement. Again, they called an hour later and said it was ready for pickup. I wanted to add a state inspection bc it's due this month but they said it's best to come early in the AM for that and I'll add an oil change as well. Their website has tons of info on it and you can browse around about the services and see if they have specials or coupons to apply to the work you're doing. They were able to quickly and easily take care of my problem for a fair price, so I'm pretty happy. Plus, it's only 5 minutes away.

Got a quote for my 4Runner but won't take it to these clowns. Horrible service, stranded out of town and they knew it upfront. unprofessional!!!

I never thought I'd say this, but I actually look forward to getting my oil changed now, thanks to…read morethe incredible team at Valvoline. From the moment I pulled in, the manager set the tone--professional, kind, and so chill that I instantly felt at ease. Every single person who assisted me, from check-in to the oil change itself, was amazing. It was like they all graduated with honors from the "How to Treat Humans Like Humans" school, and let me tell you, that's a rare find. Now, I can't write this review without dragging Take Five into it, because the difference is night and day. At Valvoline, they treated me with respect and kindness, while at Take Five, the guy verbally abused me so hard it felt like I was reliving my worst breakup. Like, if Take Five is your toxic ex screaming at you for no reason, Valvoline is your emotionally available partner who always remembers your coffee order. The whole process was seamless, quick, and dare I say, pleasant. No slamming tools, no dramatic drawer tantrums, no awkward flirting--just efficient, friendly service from a team that actually seems to enjoy their job. I left with my oil change indicator reset, my car in great shape, and a smile on my face. Moral of the story? Skip Take Five (unless you're into chaos and emotional trauma) and head to Valvoline. They'll treat you and your car like royalty.

This business has big problems. I brought my truck in for a "quick oil change." Nothing quick about…read moreit as the staff was in no particular hurry. The constant attempts to upsell unnecessary filters, fluids, and washer blades was obnoxious. If you didn't know what was going on, you could easily was away with a $300 bill for stuff you didn't need. The oil change itself was slow and of questionable quality. When done, the attendant gave me a 'next oil change' sticker that said I needed one in 3000 miles...which is absurd. When I called out the discrepancy, the attendant claimed Valvoline recommends every 3000 miles. When I showed him the Valvoline website that said my new oil was good for at least 7500 miles (vehicle manufacturers recommend 5000 miles), he just shrugged his shoulders and walked away. This is either incompetence and apathy or a business sanctioned scam to get customers returning unnecessarily. Could be either. Needless to say, steer clear of this business.
