It was cold by the time we got home but reheated beautifully in the oven. They have a good pizza that's not ruined by a wrong tweak. Nice, thin New York style crust, sauce that's not too sweet or too herby. The cheese is tasty but not excessive. If we lived closer to Medina this would be a staple. read more

Went here tonight with my wife and kids. I'm a bit split about how to rate this place. We thought the pizza was really good but it wasn't worth $28. They have $5 slices which I think is a good deal and they also have some other specials but none were available tonight. I also found it odd that they didn't serve wine or beer. The location is great and convenient. The pizza is a thin NY style crust and I was very impressed with crust. For the price though, I expect gourmet ingredients and they simply were not the quality the price tag should command. read more

Such an awesome pizza spot right on Medina Square! My family and I were shopping around the Square and quickly got hungry. We've driven by and walked by courthouse pizzeria quite a few times, but never went in to try it out. This time we decided to. It was unbelievable and my new favorite pizza spot in town!! When you first walk in, the employees greet you, and it smells heavenly. There are not too many tables for self seating but we waited no longer than five minutes for a table to open. You go to the register, order your food, and get your drinks. The pizza is cooked as it's ordered so it took about 20 minutes. Which went by quickly because there is so much to look at. They even have a bar that they recently added in the back. We did not try that out, but looked around and seems like they have quite a few alcohol options! My kids are picky when it comes to what's on their pizza. We ordered a large white pizza ($18). It had cherry tomatoes, tons of cheese, and a pesto glaze. It was outstanding! Even my picky children loved it, and asked for seconds! It's such a cool spot, because no matter where you sit, you can look right out onto the Square at all the Christmas lights and people shopping which my kids found really cool. Right crust Right Size Wrong sauce Wrong toppings Wrong cutting slice in half True new york pizza has an orange acidic sauce..not red.. Also true new York pizza actually doesnt have cheese that comes off in think chunks..it should coat the slice nicely and all be eaten together Also cutting the slice is almost an insult to the culture.. Ordered a pizza was cauliflower crust went to pick it up pizza was thin and cold I would of taken it back but I needed to eat because I'm diabetic. You need to make sure that you keep peoples food hot till they get there. It was really disappointing and didn't taste all that great cold. read more

Surprised to see so many poor reviews. It makes me wonder if they are all legitimate reviews or if some are from competing businesses. I also see that a few of the reviews came within the first few days of the business opening. Geez people, can't you cut a little bit of slack on opening weekend? You can tell the dough is made fresh here. It's New York style, so the crust is thin, but not too thin. The sauce and toppings are very good too. You're going to spend a few more dollars here then you would at Dominoes or Pizza Hut, but it's well worth it. I live in Brunswick and will happily drive past eight or nine other pizza joints to get to Courthouse. The best pizza in Medina County! Added note- Ate here a few days ago, probably the 10th time I have visited Courthouse. While playing around with Yelp tonight, I noticed that many of the poor reviews of this place have been submitted by people who have written only a few reviews. Some don't have a picture on their profile. All of that screams of a rival business trying to sabotage! Ignore the poor reviews and give this place and honest try. Courthouse is a sweet little pizzeria in the square of Medina. You can order pizza by the slice or whole pie. The slice is actually a quarter of an 18 inch pie cut into two slices. The cost for that quarter of a pie is only $4! A full 18 inch pie is only $16 for cheese. They also have a large variety of toppings you can add. The employees were kind, patient and helpful! Best of all...the pizza was delicious! It's a thin, New York style crust that's hard to find in the Cleveland area. I'm not in the Medina area often but I suspect I'll be making a special trip there specifically for Courthouse Pizzeria! read more

I really enjoy this place. I will say the individual slices are a great deal. The whole pies are maybe average to a little on the expensive side? Back to the individual slices. It really is almost a quarter of a medium pie. When eating lunch there me and the wife usually get a few snacks at the farmers market and split one. The pizza is really good. Whole pies are always fresh. The specialty pies though get a bit pricey. The historic building and location on the square are a definite plus. Customer service always seems spot on. I've never had much of a wait and anytime there is a line at the counter to order they seem to move through it efficiently. Definitely recommend trying this place. I am from New York. This is pizza. I am sorry that people seem to think (only a few in the reviews) the slices are expensive (and that their daddy doesn't give them enough money for anything but pizza hut crap) but to get a better slice of pizza you'll have t drive 7 hours east. Even then you'll have to search it out. The pesto drizzle is awesome! The staff is well trained and friendly, the place is clean and familiar, in a didn't i visit a place in Brooklyn just like this kinda way. You could not do better than to stop and try it. read more

I try to eat at a venue more than once because I feel like it's fair to read a review that has some perspective! So, after the third time dining in at Courthouse Pizzeria, I've decided 5 stars. I'm from Jersey and my husband and I KNOW pizza. Good pizza. This is it. We've tried almost every non-chain place in town (Because Papa is NOT real pizza! ... And moving and unpacking means I have zero time for dinner lately!) Good points: they only do pizza and do it good. We request it cooked a little longer on the bottom. I had a salad and it was a large portion. The pizzas are oversized, crisp but not too crisp and not too thin or too thick = delicious. For the record, the staff was really nice too. I appreciate when people are kind to my kids - it's really the little things that make an experience switch from good to great... my only complaint is that they aren't open Sunday for football pizza pickup! ... But I did learn you can buy just the dough and make your own at home... So that will have to do for Sunday. read more

-A Good Place To Grab A Greasy Slice- I enjoyed the pizza here. I wouldn't go out and say it's the best pizza I've ever had, but it was good. I went with a friend of mine and our food came out quickly and piping hot. It was a nice change from the regular pizza chains. Staff was polite and attentive. They made sure everything tasted well and there wasn't a single staff member standing around (which is nice to see everyone cleaning, cooking, taking orders, and asking patrons about how their meal tasted). Pricing was reasonable, especially when my friend and I were paying separate. We each got the "Slice and Soda" deal which came with 1/4 of a full pizza and a soft drink for $5. My only complaint was that the pizza was extremely greasy, even for my tastes. There isn't much more to say for a pizza parlor review. This is my favorite local pizza place! We get the white pizza every time. Our only major decision is what size to get! My husband says the wings are his second favorite ever (this is a huge compliment from him). One time we ordered our usual and received an extra pizza because the first one wasn't round enough. This place was recommended to me by a facebook friend. So I decided to take my son there for lunch. This pizzeria is located in a cool spot, right in Medina Square....the staff were friendly & attentive, the place was clean, and the pizza..... WOW!! We ordered a large pizza with ham, pepperoni, pineapple, and extra sauce. My son and I both thought that it was very good! ...oh, and it actually came with extra sauce! I hate it when I request extra sauce at a pizza place and they just seem to ignore the request. This happens at many places, and there's no good reason for it. But, the staff at Courthouse Pizzeria got it right, and the pizza tasted Great! This pizzeria also offers subs, salads and bread sticks, which all looked good but, on this day, we only ordered the pizza. Besides that, the drink dispenser has a good selection. The napkins, forks & other items were all stocked well, and the bathroom was clean. I am glad to recommend this pizzeria to others, and will go back sometime! read more

Envision a mall food court Sbarro set in a historic corner store and then you have Courthouse Pizza. A slice (1/4 of a 16" pie) is $4 and each topping is $.75. They have cheese and pepperoni pizzas pre-made and when you order, they add your toppings and reheat it in the oven.
