The Marriott was outstanding for our recent conference. Lynn, in group sales, is amazing. She is helpful, responsive and friendly. The rooms at the Marriott are very nice -- spacious and clean. We also used one of the conference rooms. It was well-suited to our needs. I should note that the staff went over and above to accommodate our needs, including storage and heating of food. Terrible service. I have been a Gold Elite Member for years and needed to make a last minute cancellation. The circumstances were beyond my control- and the "manager Jill" was not accommodating or friendly at all. She challenged my reasons for not being able to stay the night. She demanded proof of my circumstances. This is highly unprofessional and rude- not to mention none of her business. I have been traveling corporately for years and I'm only extremely rare circumstances have I had to cancel. I would have expected better service than this. I am most appalled by the questioning and demands of this "manager". I would never treat a guest that way. read more

Staff is very friendly. Smell of popcorn greets you as you enter the lobby. There are also cookies in the front desk. Small touches that makes the place feels homey. Hotel is clean but dated especially the bathroom. Room is on the small side. Complementary parking and wifi are a big plus. It's also very close to the Natick Mall which is another big plus! The mall has shops from both ends of the spectrum but then that's another review. Overall, I wouldn't mind going back to this hotel. read more

This is a great hotel for families. We requested a crib online and when we got to our room it was all set up for us, plus they left a small free toy for her and a disposable bib. The beds were very comfy, although I wasn't crazy about the fact that the pillows were small (although they provided multiple pillows rather than just 2). Unlike a previous reviewer, we did have a fridge and microwave in our room. The location just off the Mass Pike and literally next to the Natick Collection is very convenient. read more

Stayed here for 3 nights in late December. I think the stay deserves 5 stars, perhaps 4 1/2 but I'll stick with 5. Checking in was pleasant and efficient. I requested a particular location for the room and was given precisely that. The mattress was one of the most comfortable mattresses I have slept on in a hotel in the past 3 years. The room was quiet and I liked the layout. The front desk service was attentive. Early one morning around 5 am I was downstairs using the guest computer (was up due to a food allergy from the night before). I was thirsty and was looking for water. The woman at the front desk saw me and asked me what I needed. Since the restaurant was closed at the time, she said I'll take care of that. Within minutes she came back with a glass and a pitcher of water. That is exceptional attentiveness. So, across the board it was a great stay. I'll be back in December. read more

I'd stayed at the updated versions of Courtyard by Marriott before -- the menu was almost exactly the same albeit very good. Rooms were what I expected -- adequate and comfortable, with not much of a view (overlooking a Home Depot). However, the real reason I'm writing this review is because of one of the desk clerks named Richard. Richard's stateliness is from a different era, befitting of treatment one might expect at an much more upscale hotel. He remembered my name and unsolicitedly asked how my evening was. When I wanted to find some good seafood and coastal ambience, Richard gave some lovely suggestions and even called to see if one of the places would be open. At his suggestion, we drove to Marblehead and it was a lovely little half-day trip! Thank you, Richard! read more

I rarely rate hotels, however, my experience at this hotel was so good that I feel the need to share my experience with others. This is a larger than usual Courtyard, centrally located near the Natick mall. When I arrived I was cheerfully greeted by a lovely young lady. She was warm and welcoming, making me feel that she was genuinely happy to see me. WOW. We chatted a bit and were joined by the night manager who offered local suggestions, he was equally warm and welcoming. The folks in the restaurant and bar area were very accommodating and friendly. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I had a great nights sleep, which is not typical of my business travel. This was a 5 star experience, but this is not a 5 star hotel. I stayed here one night. Check-in was quick and easy. The staff was very friendly, gave me all the information I needed, and the interior of the hotel is beautiful. Fantastic location, and great food in the area. Free wifi is always a plus, too. The bed itself was wonderful, but the pillows were just not working for me. At all. Way too soft to the point that it was like not sleeping with a pillow, even when I stacked a bunch of them together. It was only one night, and I was in a foul mood because of lack of sleep, so I opted to just try and get what rest I could and deal with it later when I wouldn't snap at the staff unfairly (as I said, they were really nice and, at that time on no sleep, I was not). Check-out was easy. I wrote in later just to see what, if anything, could be done re: returning the points I'd spent for the night since I didn't get to sleep more than an hour max. I wasn't sure if anything could be done, but it never hurts to ask. I received a call from the assistant GM of the hotel. I was then lectured over the phone that I should have contacted them that evening, why didn't I tell them at the time, I should have told them that day. When I explained that I was only there for one night and did not want, to put it bluntly, to be a jerk to the staff because of my sleepless foul mood, she proceeded to lecture me about how to appropriately communicate customer service complaints including offering me a script to call the front desk with. When I said I couldn't believe she was lecturing me, I got "I'm sorry you feel that way," but was informed they just don't get complaints like this, I should have contacted them that night. When asked if she was upset that I had contacted customer service to discuss my problem, I was simply told it would have been better if I had contacted them that night. I was offered a night's stay at this specific hotel again, but declined; I would never stay here again. If senior management feels the need to handle a customer complaint by talking to me as if I were a child, chastising me for not handling it in their preferred method, then what would ever possess me to stay there again? I would have given a good review even with the pillow thing because that's not their fault, it's just me and my personal preference. But to be talked down to like that is unacceptable and a deal-breaker. read more

We stayed as part of a large contingent coming to Natick for a wedding. The hotel staff were wonderful, accommodating the great many different needs of such a large group. We were able to rent one of the small banquet rooms for a very reasonable fee in order to have extended family meals all together in a comfortable setting. The staff let us bring in our own food, and let us keep it in their kitchen refrigerators. Even when we hadn't rented the banquet room, we were able to bring food out to the lobby or the terrace beyond the lobby for informal get-togethers. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful in terms of directions to various places, and the van was able to take family members to the Logan Express terminal to catch their bus to the airport. We were also traveling with elderly grandparents with walkers, and the hotel was able to give us a handicapped room on the ground floor, next to the banquet room where the meals were held. Upon request staff came in and lifted the refrigerator in the handicapped room up onto the cabinet so that the grandparents did not have to bend down to floor level to use it. Upon request, we were able to acquire two microwaves for two of our rooms, and this was also very helpful. In fact, anything we requested the hotel found a way to provide that service. All of this was done for a VERY REASONABLE room charge, negotiated far in advance for a block of rooms for the wedding party. I'm writing this review mainly to address groups considering reserving a block of rooms for a hotel for incoming guests in the Natick-Framingham-Wellesly area. You can't do better than the Courtyard Marriott in Natick. read more

My husband and I stayed here on a Saturday night. Convenient location off the Mass Pike and close to the Natick Mall. A Dunkin Donuts is around the corner. The lobby is nice and the restaurant also looked nice although we did not eat there. We saw the indoor pool area as we waited for the elevator. It looked small and crowded but other guests were enjoying it. Our room was a good size with a king bed, sofa, desk/chair, dressing area, ample closet and small bathroom with a tub shower. Parking is free. It suited all of our needs. read more

Five of us stayed here for the weekend. We were hoping to have one room with two queen beds and a pullout or cot/roll away but they didn't offer anything like that so we had to get two rooms. They did have free Wi-Fi and continental breakfast which is a good bonus! The rooms do have a mini gridge (no seperate little freezer box) which is always great however in our room it froze everything so that kind of stunk. And there was no temperature control to change that. Our other room it worked just fine. There's a huge mall that's within walking distance. My only complaints include the mini fridge not working properly and that the non-lifegaurded pool is only open Sunday's from 8a.m.-noon. So the rainy Sunday we were there we had nothing to do really with the mall and pool closed. We would stay here again but hope that they can get some kind of roll away bed to accommodate more than four people for a night to save money. read more

As a Marriott Rewards Member, I am very upset about our recent stay at this Marriott Courtyard. Although the rooms were clean, I was very dissatisfied with the treatment we received after checkout. After we left the hotel, I realized I left a shopping bag with merchandise in the bag with price tags still attached. I realized the bag was left behind as were half way home. I called immediately and was told the the head of house keeping was not in. I was transferred to that department so I could leave a voice mail. I did not receive a call back until 3 days later!!! I did call them every day only to be told i needed to speak with house keeping and was transferred but never connected with a housekeeper. I did ask the front desk if the room was occupied and that perhaps the bag was missed and could still be in the room but he never commented. Finally housekeeping called me today (3 days after I first called) to tell me that they don't look in shopping bags so it must have been thrown in the trash and if I had called sooner they could have looked through the trash. I have left items behind at Marriott's in the past (maybe once or twice several years ago) and have had them sent to me so I was very upset with the way this was handled. I would not recommend using this Marriott Courtyard - it leads me to believe my things were taken or tossed away without any consideration. read more

I have been staying here for training. I HATE being away from home and I usually don't sleep well or at all, but this hotel makes it a little easier. The beds are super comfy, and I LOVE the pillows. The employees are super friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a great breakfast, but I will say their dinner could use improvement. Otherwise, great place to stay if u have to! read more

We have stayed here on occasion for the past seven years. The rooms were upgraded. We had a large double queen with terrace and fridge. Very comfortable and clean. Wish there was a curtain to separate the sink area from the main room so I didn't flood it with light while daughter sleeps. I prefer the old breakfast style. I was told that since I used points, then we didn't get a free breakfast. Paying a la carte at the counter was too expensive. I really expect complimentary coffee in the lobby, but there was none. Instead they offered hot cider and homemade cookies during the day. Nice touch, and really delicious, but I do need my complimentary coffee in the morning. read more

You better not have any problems with your reservation because they will not help you out. I reserved this location in error and had to stay at another Marriott. They charged me for a stay at both locations, insisting there is NO room for common sense in their cancellation policy. I spent my evening on the phone with Marriott Customer Care, but no one could help me. I left a message for both the Assistant General Manager and General Manage asking that they return my call and neither would call me back. I received a very short email stating they would not help me. read more

My parents, seven-year old, and I arrived on a Friday night before 10pm. We had planned to stay two nights. We had never been to this hotel but have always enjoyed another Courtyard by Marriott in Waltham, MA. We were settling into our room when my mother noticed two dead ants on the mattress of her king bed. Then, my father found a live ant walking on his sheet on the same bed. We called the office to ask to be moved to a different room. The office staff said, unapologetically, we had two options. First, to take a room with one king bed. (Clearly, this would not work for 4 people to have one bed.) Second was to move to the second floor in the same type of room. So, we took that option. The staff did not offer to help us move our things. (We had a large amount of luggage.) As we were settling into our second room, I was pulling out the sofa bed and it was full of food crumbs (sesame seeds, crackers). Under the sofa were french fries and raisins. We decided since we were exhausted we would just deal with the dirtiness for this night. But, we decided to cancel our second night's stay. We were told we had to wait to get that approved. After a short time, they called us back saying second night cancelled, full refund. As I laid down to sleep on the king bed, I noticed some sort of nasty red/yellow insect or spider crawling towards the bed. At that point, we could no longer relax and decided to leave. We packed up our things once again. We went to the front desk. We talked to the man that checked us in. He told us, "You're going to have to deal with her," pointing to someone who I assume is a manager. He told us nothing else. Once the manager was finished talking with someone else, my mother and I explained our difficulties from the night and that we were going to check out. All she said was you have a zero balance, gave us a receipt, and said you're all set. We just felt we were treated rudely and the staff was highly unprofessional. My suggestion don't waste your time or money here. We were out after midnight and luckily found a room at the Crowne Plaza Verve. They treated us kindly, were extremely helpful, and the rooms and beds super clean! read more
