Had business in Hagerstown and spent 2 nights. The hotel is maintained well. Upon arrival, I was met with a smile from Tim at the front desk and checked in. My room was on the 6th floor with a view of the parking lot and highway. The room was clean. I had some time to go to the pool. I ended up in the jaccuzi, which would have been nice, except for all of the chemicals that were burning my eyes. I have never been in a hot tub that irritated my skin and burned my eyes like this place. We stopped by the bar area, and I had a cherry old fashioned which was delicious. The bartender was super nice, and the atmosphere was comfortable. I had a good stay and would definitely return when visiting the area. They just need to work on how they maintain the pool and spa area. 4 Stars! read more

My hotel stay here was great. It's next to a mall so there are a lot of restaurants right near by but off to the side enough that you aren't in the midst of too much traffic. The lobby has a lot of seating area and TV's. The room was spacious, clean, had a nice couch and a desk. The lower level has a pool and a hot tub. The pool isn't huge but if you go on a time where it isn't full of kids, it's nice and relaxing as is the hot tub. The gym had a good variety of treadmills, elliptical machine, stationary bikes and a large set of weights. They include water and the room is cold which is good when you start working out. So room + amenities were great, so I was happy with my stay here. There's plenty of parking and the receptionist was friendly. There's a little mini convenient store in the front for last minute munchies. It was a good stay. read more

Loved my stay at this Courtyard Marriott for work - huge, clean, quiet room with excellent lighting, well heated. Room was located on the 5th floor facing back parking lot - slept like a baby, quiet room ftw! Room felt quite new as did lobby, nothing outdated. Rates are reasonable - great quality for the price. Excellent coffee for purchase downstairs along with hot breakfast items from their on-site bistro. While free breakfast is not offered, hot breakfast is reasonably priced given quality. Reliable free wifi. Speedy check-in and checkout, excellent staff. read more

Everything! First we got price gouged bcz we had an emergency same day travel. For $250 we got an elevator that didn't work, a pool out of service, NO luggage carts (at 11:00 pm!!), a child size cot that was advertised as a sleeper sofa, no blankets for said cot, no hair dryer and NO complimentary tea in the room. I don't think I will be staying at any more Marriotts. This is the second Marriott in a row that has been way over priced with not even the "basics" in service. read more

Excellent all around! Starting with the hotel room itself, always clean and comfortable. Very modern with the standard flat screen television but you do have your options for subscription services such as Netflix, Showtime, HBO Go and YouTube. You do need your own subscription to use these. It is next to a highway so if you want the quieter side be sure to either ask for a room on the small side or an odd-numbered room. They do have a nice pool, fitness center and a patio with a fire pit outside. The lounge in the lobby is large and great for Gatherings of small to moderate numbers of people. Very comfortable seating and different areas to relax and have a few drinks and hang out. The service is always friendly and accommodating. The lobby does have what they call, The Bistro. They do have food and alcoholic beverages for sale. Breakfast is a paid breakfast and they do offer Starbucks beverages. The hours are limited though. There is a pantry for snacks and drinks and other assorted alcoholic beverages for purchase anytime. The area itself is full of options for bars, restaurants and shops. Being located next to a mall you have all of those that are within walking distance. Primanti Brothers, BJ's Brewhouse, Mission BBQ, The Diner and Red Robin are all easily walking distance. If you don't mind a very short drive, there is just about everything you can think of in terms of type of food, chain and a number of independent restaurants also within less than five minutes of a drive. Would I come back? Absolutely. I'm frequently in the Hagerstown area on business and I either stay here at The Courtyard or right next door at the SpringHill Suites. Both are some of the nicest hotels in the area. read more

Great stay, typical of the majority of Marriott properties! We were surprised to find only two sets of towels, but a quick trip to the front desk and we were able to get another two sets. The room was beautiful, clean and well laid out. Plenty of outlets for various electronics. It was interesting that the TV was on and in order to change the channels it required you to scan a QR code and then the remote appeared in a web browser on your phone. Kind of cool!! The room was on the 5th floor facing the Springhill Suites, which was close by. The lobby area was spacious and there was a nice breakfast area, which I later found out had a bistro that served snacks and dinner. The room was super quiet. Heard nothing from neighbors in adjacent rooms. Heard nothing outside and the bed was very comfortable. Slept incredibly well!! I will definitely be back. Always like Marriots courtyard design. Great rooms, friendly service, windows that open a little for those of us who like fresh air. Next to this hotel is a large mall with lots of restaurant choices. Inside the hotel is a breakfast restaurant with excellent food at a reasonable price. About $10 per person. Beats the barely edible free breakfasts that some hotels offer. read more

Just two nights at this Courtyard and they did a great job of being right on the money as far as the Courtyard brand goes. It was clean and comfortable and quiet. My room had the usual fixings for this chain of hotels - a workdesk with plenty of power outlets, a speedy wifi, and a decent sized bathroom. The lobby has the Bistro restaurant and a market with snacks and drinks, including a few bottled beers. The young lady who checked me in was efficient and polite, recognizing my Marriott status appropriately. The Courtyard brand does not offer a free breakfast. None of the Courtyards do. That's just how Courtyard operates. There's plenty of parking with a couple of restaurants within walking distance and the mall. read more

What a great hotel! I'm passing through on business and was lucky enough to find it. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they found me a great rate on my room. The room itself is good sized and very clean, top to bottom. That goes for the bathroom as well, which is so nice! I would not go out of my way to stay here mainly because the area is BLAH...but if you need a place to stay in Hagerstown this works. The Courtyard and Springhill Suites share a parking lot. Courtyard is 4 years newer. Both are in the far end of an older Mall. The outlet Mall is 10 min away and many chain restaurants are close by. Back to the Courtyard...the outside looks modern and has an outdoor seating area in the back. Looks like a gas fire pit but I did not see if it went on or not. The room and bed were comfy enough with a mini fridge, flat screen TV, tiny coffee pot and a modern feel. The yellow painted walls with reddish orange furniture...a bit much at first but I got use to it. No complimentary water or free breakfast buffet, but the lobby has a bistro and seating area. I saw a few people in line and it looked like the line moved slowly. I was on the 2nd floor of a 4 story hotel. I prefer opening the window rather than using the air conditioner. A nice summer breeze was trying to get through the 2 inches the window would open. I don't get why hotels only let you open the window 2 inches. It is a big picture window. Really...are they afraid we will jump from the 2nd floor? read more

Had the pleasure to stay at the Marriott Courtyard in Hagerstown (I think they now call it the Marriott Bonvoy) 2 nights ago. What a lovely roadside hotel! I hadn't stayed at a Courtyard in a while, but I trust the brand. I was very impressed by how they've upgraded. I had a King room...spacious with a seating area and priced reasonably at $129/night. The lobby area is awesome...lots of space...flat screen TV..and I love their new cafe/bar area. Who knew you could get a cocktail at 9:30 at night at a Marriott Courtyard??? I've traveled through Hagerstown many times and always stay at the same place (which has been rebranded and is terrible!). The Marriott was a wonderful surprise and this will be me go-to hotel whenever I'm in Hagestown. read more

My family and I stayed here on our way back from a trip down south. Out of all the hotels we stayed in it was the best! Service was wonderful, clean as clean can be, the beds were comfortable, with a great food bar down stairs. If you're a coffee drinker and don't like Starbucks you'll have to find an alternative as that is all the food bar sells. Overall great stay and I'll be choosing the Courtyard by Marriott again! read more

Had a very nice stay at this location in Oct 2021. The room was quiet, very clean and the staff was very friendly and professional.

What a beautiful hotel, well appointed and spotlessly clean. Decorated in restful tones of gray, taupe and brown. The Jacuzzi and pool were a welcome respite after a day on the road. Plentiful towels there and open until 11pm, the spa is on the lower level. The bed was very comfortable and I got a great night's sleep. Good water pressure in the glass enclosed, white tiled shower. For breakfast we bypassed the Bistrot because of the poor customer service we experienced checking in and walked across the parking lot to the Valley City Diner - highly recommend it! read more

The only reason i'll give it 3 stars is because the room and hotel is nice for the price we paid a night. The hotel is very modern and clean, however my boyfriend and i didn't get to enjoy the amenities. We took a day trip to Hagerstown to go swimming and experience tubing on the mountain. The pool as well as the pool next door was both shut down and out of service. This wasn't to pleasing and when asking the staff about the pool it was just a blank face. I understand it was out of there hands but there was no follow up customer service. All and all the rooms and hotel was nice, it was just unfortunate the pools were out of service during my stay. read more

Stayed here for work for 2 weeks... very nice courtyard assuming that its new.. check in was quick, greeted as a platinum member, and upgraded to a suite. . Walking distance to chain restaurants (unfortunately, no local places in walking distance). Staff was helpful, rooms clean, and bed and pillows comfortable. Nice place to stay read more
