We were in town for the show at Sight & Sound and stopped in here for lunch. We had to wait 20 mins to get a table for 10. Beautiful aesthetic of white, gray and gold...modern rustic. Our server Kaitlyn was so genuinely nice and very attentive. She did a great job serving 10 people. We ordered the garlic parmesan fries with aoli for an appetizer...SO GOOD! Our whole table raved on these fries. For my main meal I ordered the turkey bacon sandwich on gluten free bread and sweet potato fries. DELISH! For dessert we ordered the peanut butter chocolate brownie....Wow!! and two macarons (cinnamon and oreo cookie). The hubs said they were both great but he liked the cinnamon better. Here's what we ordered: - Famous Smoked Beef Brisket: Incredibly juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. I'm very picky about brisket, but this one did not disappoint. And let me tell you--the BBQ sauce was sooo good. (Now, I'm really wondering if they sell it because I'd love to take some home.) - Sweet & Spicy Burger: My husband loved every bite. The tomato jam and garlic rosemary aioli on the toasted brioche bun paired perfectly with the burger. - Pork Burnt Ends with Mac & Cheese: Super flavorful and rich. While it was a bit fatty for my taste, my husband couldn't get enough. - Festive Salad: Fresh, vibrant, and loaded with strawberries, blueberries, and sugared pecans--although it was inter, it was like summer in a bowl. - Double Cheesesteak: This wasn't quite my thing. We came here because we heard from our Airbnb host that this is where the cool kids hang out! I can definitely see why, the place is open and breezy and incredibly welcoming. This is our go-to restaurant every time we go to Sight and Sound Theater. The restaurant is so bright and clean and the menu is great! The sweet and spicy bacon grilled cheese is really good as well as the turkey supermelt both of which are two of my favorites. There is something for everyone. Everything I have ordered has been delicious and I usually end up taking some macarons home from the display case, this time I also had an affogato which was superb. Really enjoyed some of the food at this beautiful restaurant. It is very near the sight and sound theater and perfect for dinner after the show. It gets busy, so better to call in ahead. The one star drop was because of the refusal to place our kids with the adults. This was all because we were a party of 18 and not 20. The fact that we were separated after calling ahead and waiting for 40min, only to be separated from our kids... it was chaotic. I think choosing to loose a couple seats for an hour is worth keeping little ones near their parents. The best part was the food. We were looking forward to the burnt ends but they ran out. I can only imagine how good they must have been. The best of the food was the smoked pastrami sandwich and onion ring or French fries combo. I would definitely recommend NOT getting the potato chips. It had an aftertaste that was oily and unpleasant. The sweet and spicy burger was absolutely amazing and well cooked. I would definitely recommend those two above all else. The French onion soup was also nicely balanced and worth getting. The kids also enjoyed their meals and we all had a great meal here. I can't put my finger on which from the bad service to the cold suit and the lack luster empathy for solving small problems, no napkins, not asking for refills, etc.. The food was really good. I had a simple grilled cheese with chips and it was really good. They have a variety of drinks so I tried one of their pear spritzers which was so refreshing on a hot day! I looked up breakfast spots online before we even got in the area and this place came up. They didn't disappoint! Upon walking in, a warm ambiance hits you and you get a feeling that the food is gonna be good. And it is! I got a red, white and blue waffle combo with scrambled eggs + cheddar cheese and bacon. My daughter got a double stack of chocolate chip pancakes and they were huge! My hubby got an omelet with a bunch of add ins and it came out loaded with tons of meat and fresh veggies. He also got home fries and toast with it too. Also great. That waffle was so amazing. I've never tasted whipped cream so awesome - like it was made with fresh cream. Also came with tons of strawberries and blueberries. I couldn't eat it all.
