When I go to a Cousins Sub shop I order a Cheese Steak and add fried onions and mayo to their version of the sandwich. Some Cousins can't make the sandwich this way, they either can't fry the onions or they have to microwave them. Ok, so if they can't fry OR microwave the onions...how are they cooking the steak on the Cheese Steak?? This Cousins does it right, perfectly cooked on that large grill and for some reason, the portions on the sandwich seem better then other branches. I grabbed drive through here last week when there was nothing to eat at the cafeteria at work. There was no one ahead of me to order, and only one car ahead of me to pickup. It's a little bit longer wait than your typical fast food, but it was definitely made fresh, and they were very friendly. I had the pepperoni melt with baked lays and a Diet Coke. It's a little too far from work to make it on a 30 minute lunch, so I didn't have enough time to eat before my 1:00 pm meeting, but it still tasted good an hour later. I recently used their online ordering system on two different occasions. I ordered both times from this location, and both times my order was messed up. The first order was billed wrong, and they had me pay an additional amount when I came to pick up my order. Mistakes happen, but I wondered what would have happened if I didn't bring my wallet to pick up my prepaid order. They also forgot to put one of my subs in the bag. Good thing I checked prior to pulling out of the parking lot. The first time didn't bother me much; however, the second time was a much different case. I ordered again using the online system. Convenient? I don't know about that anymore. My fiance went to pick up my prepaid order on his way home from work about 45 minutes after I placed the order and they hadn't even started it. They told my fiance' their system did not notify them. Okay, another mistake, it happens. Well, then they let him know that they did not have any of the soup I had ordered and already paid for. When he declined the alternative option they said they would refund my money for that part of the order...Never happened. When I called to notify the manager of the inconvenience he asked me, "What do you want me to do about it? I can't control the system." I was amazed. "What did I want him to do?" I wanted him to apologize for the inconvenience and look into the matter. I expect that as a manager he would accept some type of responsibility for his location. I understand he can't control if something doesn't work properly, but if they are aware of an issue, perhaps a routine check would be appropriate. Or another possibility could be to fix the issue. This was not the first time there was a mistake. Jon, the manager, was extremely rude and sarcastic. I asked for the number of the manager above him, and he told me he couldn't give me his personal number. No what I meant, buddy. I had to ask several times for a corporate number before he even attempted to say he was sorry for the system not working. Absolutely horrible service is all I have to say. I will no longer use this location, if I choose to dine at Cousins again that is. I know mistakes happen, but when they happen every time it gets a little frustrating. His sub was to be no tomatoes, no onion, extra mayo....got the sub and there was no mayo and no lettuce, very plain sub basically all bread. Mine was with whatever came on it normal and was the skimpiest sub I've ever had. My bf called to complain about his no mayo/lettuce sub and they said "well if you wanted that on there you have to say so because we don't automatically put it on". Visited Friday, 5/1 @ 5:15 PM. The first person punched in my order of 1/2 turkey no tomatos no onion. Then, while wearing the same gloves she pulled the centers out of my bread and put on mayo. Then, went back to work the register for the next customer, all the while wearing the same gloves. Next person came over to finish my sandwich, when she got off the phone - again, not changing gloves. Apparently, the knife she was using had food from the previous sandwich, so she just swiped the edge of the knife along the edge of the counter. When it came time to pay, I was told the clerk didn't know what type of cookies they had. She asked Mike the manager, who also said he didn't know. Place was a disaster - 3 people working spent the entire time I was there watching the French fries in the fryer.
