Each time I leave the salon, my face looks great! And the week following my skin feels very very happy 10/10 recommended. I recently received a full body wax from Alex. Let me say that it was a pleasurable experience. Everything was clean and organized. The session itself was easygoing. Alex quickly took off the strip and tried to make it less painful. Some pulls hurt more than others, but that is due to the area being sensitive, to begin with. It was such a pleasure to meet Samantha for the first time today. I originally called because a well-known salon in Whittier messed up my eyebrows royally. I had the best eyebrow person, but she since moved and I tried someone else. Nope. Shouldn't have done that... I let them grow out as much as possible for about four weeks, and Sam could tell I was nervous when I made the appointment. I asked about the process, told her they took off way too much at the tail and in the inner corner on one eyebrow. Fast forward to today, Sam mapped out my eyebrows using the K. Baker method where they overly exaggerate the mapping to make sure they don't take the wrong hairs off while waxing. Long story short, my eyebrows look so much better already! The place was a challenge to find but so worth the U-turn/s. I was greeted and offered a drink as soon as I came in. And was taken in 5 min soon after. Mind you I just made the appt 2 hrs before. Staff was friendly and the place was organized, clean and didn't smell like the usual salon where the chemical over power your sense of smell. They use organic products. Eileen the owner, gave an awesome shampoo with scalp massage that I almost fell asleep. She gave me a great cut and styled it so beautifully that I feel like slapping some make up on and dress up. I got my hair done by Tiffanie and I had no idea what color I was looking for.. She patiently talked me through my dilemma by showing me visual examples and explaining different color tones and color combinations. I am very particular with my hair and I have a very hard time letting just anyone near it with scissors. She mastered the absolute PERFECT cut and color which matched my skin tone wonderfully. I didn't feel rushed at all with my questions and concerns, In fact I felt as if I was treated with the upmost professionalism and kindness. Love this Salon! Eileen has done my hair for the past few years and always points me in the right direction. She knows that I'll bring in a picture of hair cuts that I love but (most of the time) I won't take the time to style it lol. I love the products she uses and my hair is always shiny when she covers the grey. A couple of visits ago she recommend a hydro (?) facial for dry skin with the girl she works with and my skin felt like I actually drink 8 glasses of water a day.
