Good dress selection that is very unique other shops do not have dresses like them. I am not sure if it is always like this but When we visited they had Long dresses in the back of the store on clearance for around $400.00 Regular price new in season dresses id say average $1,500 on up. There is something there for everyone as long as you're comfortable spending a minimum of several hundred dollars. Overall it is a nice shop and worth checking out for unique finds. read more

I ordered a 2XL coat and it was way too small. They refused to refund me, then offered 75%, then 100% in store credit. The item was clearly mislabeled, as , since I was stuck with a coat I couldn't even get on, I gave to a neighbor's kid, who wears a medium. It fit him perfectly. I have zero confidence in their sizing, but am still stuck with a $100 store credit for something that was clearly their mistake. Why am I the guilty one? I am quite dissatisfied. read more

Anyone that shops for evening gowns regularly in Downtown LA knows that it isn't usually an easy process, it takes hours and multiple shops before finding "the one". Well, my experience yesterday was entirely different than the usual. I walked into Couture Shop with my mom and daughter in search of a dress for my cousin's wedding. We walked straight into the Clearance section (which btw, is IMPRESSIVE) and picked out a few items to try on. That's when Charbel came into the picture! He figured me out from the moment he laid eyes on me. Half of my picks he removed because they were not going to fit....and he was totally right. Tried on one gown.... tried on another.... and he wasn't really convinced and neither was I. So I asked him to pick something for me within my price range. He smiled, asked me if he could do some color, I told him he had full control of his pick..... and this man delivered! He put me in the most beautiful pink gown, this dress fits like it was made for me. It was an absolute yes. I could tell from the moment he started working with us that he knew what he was doing. Unfortunately we did have a little hiccup with the payment through Venmo. My payment was sent to what appeared to be their old Venmo account and not their current account, so after a little time and effort from both the staff and myself, it was resolved without any issues. The entire staff was friendly, accommodating, helpful, the list of compliments can go on forever. It was the most perfect shopping experience and we were done in a matter of an hour and a half. This was the first store I looked at to find a dress for my cousin's Met themed wedding that I was attending. I also had a head piece that it needed to match. Claudia showed me fabulous dresses that were out of my price range. When I told her what I could afford she sent me to the clearance section and I found a very unique ball gown and a party dress. Claudia zipped me into them and was really supportive without pressure. I looked at 3 other stores after and they had less quality dresses for a couple more hundred dollars so I went back to Claudia and bought the ball gown. I needed it altered so she called the tailor next door who came over and took measurements. She also noticed the zipper in the back was loose so she paid to get that fixed. My experience here was wonderful. Very efficient and fun- and I don't use the word fun lightly because I usually hate trying on dresses. I didn't have much time, so the friendly women in the front, who were very knowledgeable about stock and body types, helped me sift through the large inventory they had by going through styles on the computer screen. This was much better to me than going through racks and racks of dresses. And, they brought me the styles I chose in my size and I was able to quickly try on the dresses I initially liked. They were very responsive on WhatsApp, about any questions I had, and were able to help me find a great piece. I really appreciated their customer service and professionalism. I also went to Noel across the street, but ended up getting my dress here- much better service and stock in my opinion. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! Negative stars! RIP OFF - Horrid customer service. I purchased a $1k+ dress online in 2016. It didn't fit right so I returned it. I asked before I purchased if I could return it - they said yes. Little did I know it wasn't for a refund it was for store credit. My mistake for not reading the return policy. No problem - I'll suck it up. Once a year I check back to find dresses online but don't find anything. Last year I confirmed in email that my credit was still valid. I finally found 2 possible dresses I like this year. I emailed the historical data showing my credit and asked to ship me dress 1. I said if that doesn't fit well, I'm returning and trying dress 2. This was a week ago and they haven't shipped my dress and are giving me the runaround. First they told me they couldn't find my credit. (I emailed the proof from their email a year ago) Then they said unless I show them the invoice they won't honor the credit. Luckily I keep everything and had the email. Then they said I can't return another dress and if I buy one then the sale is final. Nothing in the return policy says that. Now I can't get anyone to call me back. I told them I either want a full refund or I want to get the dress. Where is their 100% satisfaction guarantee that they have in writing on their website?! So 3 years later and they still have my $1k and I have nothing!!!! Now I have to try to find how I paid for it and dispute the charges with my credit card company because this business won't work with me. I'm not asking for anything unreasonable. I either want product or my money back. This place is a huge disappointment and I feel ripped off! read more
