My kid thought that most of the dresses at Windsor were too basic. And she showed me an inspiration photo of a dress I could NOT find on any Google shopping searches. We found some that were kinda similar but this must've been one of a kind. And there's not a lot of dresses available in Aqua. So every store/website/used dress forums etc were limited. But not here. They have such a huge selection of dresses! And considering it was peak prom season, I thought the dressing rooms would be packed but it was so easy going here. We went to a different store and the line for the dressing room was 1 hour per 2 dresses! The ladies here are helpful. And for the same cost as other stores, the dresses had more pizzazzz here. I saw some BEAUTIFUL dresses that I would LOVE to wear myself. So now I'm basically looking for an event to attend just to come back here and buy a dress lol. read more

That day I came in with a friend to shop for dresses. The lady who helped me was called Arianna Moreno. Do not buy dresses here. First of all she was very impatient. She does not let me try on more than 2 dresses. I asked to try on a third dress and she said too much work for her, owner will not let her, even though owner was not there. She gave us a lot of pressure and attitude, that she worked so hard to let us try on dresses and if we dont buy it would be a waste of her time. I called back a week later looking for exchange, I have brand new tags and looking to see what style she had. The person picking up phone has no record of the $250 cash I paid. What dark market is this? I'm not sure if Ariana swallowed the cash or embezzled that from the store but there is no records from a week ago. I have photos and videos with date on iPhone of when I took those photos and videos of me trying on dress at store with my friend. Yet she has no record from that date. That shows disorganization. Then she says policy this and that. If you don't even have records how do you enforce any policy? That is double standards. They do not take care of customers here. If you were to spend that amount of money, you get returns and exchanges and customer service at Nordstrom and online dress places. They are not cheaper than the mall, and they are shady, do not have records of payments, and says policy is no exchange and no return. Obviously they are looking for one time sales deals, not repeat customers. I will surely not come back to this hole in the wall place with nasty attitude and sales agent that are impatient and give you attitude for trying on more than two dresses. read more

I'm wondering what everyone here paid, just would be fun to compare prices. They seem to make it up as they go. I don't enjoy this kind of shopping where it becomes super stressful and unpleasant because you're not sure if you're getting duped. The dresses on this street are all similar to each other. I prefer to shop in a civilized manner at Macys, Bloomingdales and Nordstoms where I can return the dress if I change my mind and where the gowns are clearly marked. read more

I was shopping for a prom dress for my daughter and decided to go downtown. I had gone into a few stores and didn't find anything she liked. We walked in into Laurel's House and it was love at first sight. With the help of Veronica, we found the perfect dress. My daughter felt like she was in an episode of Say Yes To The Dress. She was assigned a dressing room and Veronica helped her with zipping it and prepping it for alterations. They have a row of huge mirrors to see yourself from all angles. We decided on a dress and received a discount for paying cash. We love this place. I went back again the following week for my daughter's best friend's prom dress. I went looking for Veronica to help us but she was with a client so Mily helped us. Again same great service from picking out the dress all the way down to getting a discount. They have dresses that suit every budget and style choice. * Recommended a Tailor a couple doors down, had the dress done in 2 hours. Tips: * Bring the heels you're wearing to prom! -This'll help you if your dress needs to be hemmed. I was greeted immediately by Milly. She asked what style I was looking for and she knew exactly what I wanted! She was soo helpful and very friendly! She advised me on alterations I can have made to remove the tool or make the dress shorter.
