I figured now would be the best time to install a mini split ac rather than wait for the summer when it might be harder to get an appointment, I'm very glad I went with this business. What can I say about them that hasn't already been said? Boris was very communicative and polite, his team did a great job with the installation of my new 12,000 BTU unit, all around a great experience and a great price compared to what others were quoting me. Had my 12,000 BTU installed last week and couldn't be any happier. It cools off my room which is upstairs very quick and it's very quiet. Clearly Boris and his team care about doing things right! I had a mini split installed and there was an issue one month later. I contacted boris and his response was immediate. Unfortunately there was another issue with the unit, we ultimately determined that the unit itself was faulty. When he returned for round 3 it was again prompt and they replaced the inside and outside unit to ensure everything was proper. Just another 5 star review to add to the chorus. Boris and his Dad did a fantastic job. The price was incredible. The system works great. They were in and out in about 2 hours. I applaud their fantastic work. One thing to note that is not their fault -- do a little research on the Cielo Breez. It's a system that allows you to control the AC from your smartphone. Boris will provide that system if you want it, but I've found it's a little hit or miss. It stopped working for several days before the app updated and worked again. Also, the device cannot be used as a thermostat. It looks like a touchscreen where you can control everything. It is not, you must use your smartphone. That said, customer service for Cielo was pretty great. If I could go back, I might research and choose a different wifi control option. But the system itself and the work was incredible. I'd use iNNova again in a heartbeat. read more

Just want to give an update, I've had the mini-split's for almost 1 year and I'm so glad I got them! My electric bill has gone down and my rooms are so comfortable, they work great and well worth the cost. During this recent heat wave my home was very cool, they work very well and are so quiet. There's no question that this summer is off to a blaze! We did a big home remodel and due to the massive tree that provides shade 85% of the day, we opted not to get central air. But after a couple of days of this heat, we realized we needed something to keep us cool. Viola, we got an 18,000 BTU split unit air conditioner for our upstair living room and kitchen, which is about 550 square feet. On low, the unit cools the room within 15 mins and it feels delicious. As for the installation, customer service, cleanliness, and overall experience...it was FANTASTIC!!! From our initial email and phone call, Boris was incredibly responsive. Not only was he patient in answering all our questions but he really took the time to educate us about the product and install process. After scheduling our appointment, Boris was great in communicating his estimated time of arrival. Once the family showed up, the unit was up, running and cooling our home within 2 hours. They cleaned up after themselves and actually left the place cleaner than when they arrived. All in all, they get an A+ especially for a small, family owned local business. This review is about 2 years overdue but better late than never. When we first bought our house we considered central hvac but our house is old and the ducting would have been a pain and ultimately pretty costly. The mini-split was a perfect solution and many parts of Asia (and other places) having been using this system for years. Boris and crew were professional and 2+ years later this mini-split is still kicking butt. We got the big daddy unit (22K BTU) to cover the main part or our house and we have no regrets. Extremely Satisfied with Boris and my new 9000 BTU A/C unit. They were able to install it in a second floor bedroom in just around an hour. I still can't believe how quiet the unit is and how well it cools down the room. I waited for a while before writing this review to not only grade Boris' work, but the performance of the unit that was installed. I've had my mini split system in for a little over five months now and I can positively attest that it works wonders. In fact my electricity usage was about 30% less over the summer than previous years. Not to mention that this unit out performed my old wall unit, we were never uncomfortable during any heat waves this summer. So far so good. Called Boris and he quoted me a price for a 36,000 BTU install for my mother-in-law in Whittier. 4 Days later they installed and she is now a kool kat. In fact, she texted me she had to turn it off because she got too cold. Poor thing has been living without any AC. Boris is professional. He explained to her how to use and the necessary maintenance. They cleaned up after the install as if nothing had happened. I'll update if anything goes awry but so far I'm as satisfied as I could be and my mother-in-law can stay relaxed when the temps are soaring into the high 90's. Quick update: She said she had to keep it on low and couldn't imagine what it would be like if she turned it on high, LOL. The unit is quiet and requires very little maintenance, exactly what I needed for her. Since I live around the area, they were able to squeeze me in on their tight schedule, so I did not have to wait for 4 weeks to get the unit installed. Very professional. Due to the recent heatwave, I was in urgent need of installing air conditioning units in an overly warm house occupied by my incapacitated father and grandfather along with their caregivers. I called and spoke to Boris first thing in the morning and explained the situation. Not only did he take the time to give me an assessment and recommendations on the necessary installations, he squeezed me into a packed schedule on a busy Sunday and got the job done the same day I called. He and his team were great. They got to work right away, were mindful of any potential debris during the installation, and explained how to use and maintain the units. They were really fantastic and thorough. I highly recommend them to anyone looking. They are reasonably priced and I will definitely hire them again in the future. As an aside, Boris could speak English and Cantonese fluently which was a plus for a few in the household who could only speak one or the other. Additionally, although it was not necessary, he took off his shoes anytime he was working in the house which is a common practice in Asian households. That was definitely a first for me. How often do you hire someone who actually keeps in mind that kind of etiquette - especially without being asked? Very impressive. read more

I rarely write reviews but our experience has been so positive that I feel compelled to write one (they did not ask). We built/insulated/dry walled a Tuffshed in our backyard for use as an office, and wanted to add HVAC for user during the summer. The guy doing our electrical wasn't familiar with minisplits, and tho I had considered DIYing a Mr Cool unit, I just felt out of my depth. Boris was extremely responsive, helpful with clarifying things for both me and our electrician, made useful recommendations for mounting the outdoor unit that helped me understand the pros/cons, and was able to install the unit quickly and within just a few days of our contacting him, for a reasonable price. The indoor unit looks nice and works smoothly, and the wifi thermostat Boris recommended (but didn't personally sell) also works great. He had the opportunity to upsell us and didn't. He also offered us his AC expertise about our regular AC unit (just some basic advice) that we appreciated. Boris sent me an initial quote that was extremely detailed and listed out everything. There were no hidden costs. He and his team arrived on time and ready to work. Boris did a walk through before the work began. He offered me different placement options for the mini splits and their fans that mount outside. Boris also made sure my electrical panel was adequate. We had a total of four units installed which took Boris and his team about 7 hours to complete. When he was done he walked me through how to use the remote control, how to clean the filters, showed me how the new breakers were labled and showed me how everything was set up outside. I got my first split unit from Boris a couple of years ago for a small room that couldn't be vented for our regular air conditioning unit. It transformed the room to a fully comfortable space.That unit and the service provided by this company led me to later install a 12,000 btu unit in my garage. Once the garage was insulated and dry walled, the unit was able to easily cool the 400 square foot space quite comfortably. We got another unit in one of our bedrooms for extra comfort there. Not only that, but I recommended Boris and his company to my daughter and son in law and they had units installed and are also very satisfied. Not only was the service great (flexible installation schedule including Sunday) but the price is probably the best that you're going to find anywhere. I live in a house built in the 40's with bad insulation and the air conditioner I currently have is a little overkill (5 ton air conditioner for an 1800 sq ft home). It was installed by the previous owner. In deep Summer when it's hot, turning it on results in a ridiculously high power bill. We have an infant and her room can get super hot which makes it hard to get her to nap. Rather than turning on the massive air conditioner, we really just need her room cooled down. I called around and no one even came close to the price of what iNNova can offer. I thought about ordering one through Amazon and watching a ton of youtube videos and doing the install myself but rather than F ing it up, I'd rather have a more experienced person install it quickly (and warranty it) than going through all that effort myself. Boris and his father came on time and were pretty much done within the hour. I had them install the small 9000 BTU for the bedroom. They were very nice and respectful of the house, even took off their shoes when they came in. Boris is quite knowledgeable and easily answered all of my questions (before,during, and even after the install). I actually stopped by their showroom to get a demonstration earlier in the week to see it function. Now that we have it installed, the room is SUPER cold and in the mornings when it gets chilly, I can quickly warm it up for our baby. It is far far quieter (both the heat and cooling function) than that massive 5 ton air conditioner out back. The little air conditioner is even powerful enough for me to close off the hallway and actually chill down that side of the house!
