What are you really say about a storage place. You store stuff there. But really there's a lot more that you can say if anyone's ever stored anything in more than one storage unit they know that it can either be easy and pleasant or a complete nightmare. Covina self storage, luckily for us was so easy that we've actually used it twice. my girl and I stored some stuff there a few years ago and never really thought about it because we didn't go there very often but the last time was a completely different story. When we had a close relative pass and we had to store a ton of their stuff we thought well Covina storage was the last place we went let's try that again. We slid in with two carloads full of stuff went to the office and man was met by Oscar. Oscar was great super understanding of the situation realized we needed to get in fast even though the place closed in 10 minutes, helped us through the process and got us our unit. Oscar was super helpful reminded us about all of the policies, made sure that we knew how it worked to come in and out, double checked that our code worked and walked us through our unit. I saw Oscar a couple times while loading the unit and he was nothing but friendly. I moved an apartment into the unit over a few weekends and got to know a few of the other tenants as well. It turns out Vince self storage was such a value that some people actually drive from orange county to store their stuff there. Not only is it a good deal it was clean well-maintained and showed no signs of vandalism or any of the people living in their units. So if you got some stuff that you don't want in your house but you can't bear to throw it away check out Covina self storage and don't forget to say hi to Oscar he's super friendly and makes the whole process really easy. read more

I've been renting here for 2 years already and I really like it. They always have it really clean. They have code for the gate and schedules 7am to 7:pm, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year. Super convenient. I looked around Covina and no one was so flexible with the schedule. Oscar is always willing to work a deal for you. There's camera all around. They also offer insurance for the storage. I would definitely recommend this storage. read more

The exterior doors do not lock, the elevators are constantly not working properly. I feel this place is insecure and maintenance is not kept up. I don't recommend anyone store here because anyone can walk in through these Un locked broken doors. read more

The rent has gone up two or three times in the two years that I have been with them. I am currently paying $145.50 for not even the biggest storage that they have. They provide two small carts that can barely fit my coffee table on it. The new management keeps all of the bigger carts locked up and they are hardly there to ask them to unlock them. On several occasions we have dealt with a rude girl in the front office. The grounds are not clean at all...there is dirt and cracking wood floors upstairs!! The hours are confusing...the gate says 7-7 everyday, but online has different hours. read more

Years ago I rented from this particular PS. I always was taken care of and just this week returned after many years. I found the same efficient staff member that I dealt with then. Her name is Dorothy. This lady is awesome. She never makes you feel like you are bothering her and she quickly responds to needs you may have as a renter. I was so delighted to see her. I don't have big expectations when it comes to post offices, service stores let alone a storage facility but today I was pleasantly surprised by the great customer service that I received from Chris at Covina Self Storage. He treated me like one of his own family member. He gave me great service at the least minimal amount that I was able to provide. He even gave me a grand tour of the facility which most places would just tell you where to go. I really appreciated the VIP treatment and I would recommend this place to anyone who needs that extra space outside their home. It took us forever to get settled and honestly we know we can be a handful. We stay too late sometimes, trying to get things finished and we've even gotten injured a few times along the way trying to rush. It's been hard. I really wish we were able to continue storing our stuff here but unfortunately we're kind of big nuisances with how much stuff we have and how long it takes us to get through everything. Even with all that, Mary Helen kept her grace the whole time and treated us with compassion. This isn't a fake review or a sob story, it's real. We still recall how Louie the Manager called the Covina police on our friend. Our friend is a male Hispanic American veteran . That served Honorably in Operation Desert Shield and Operation Restore Hope in Africa . At the time of the incident our friend was giving , some items to a female. She volunteered to place in our friend's storgage unit. As our friend was giving back the personal items to this female . Louie the Manager told the American Hispanic veteran ," You will not be out of here before closing ". Then louie the Manager called the Covina Police. Police Officer : Thompson arrived at this location . He arrested our friend the America veteran . They took our friend to the police station and , stripped searched our friend the American , Hispanic veteran. Prior to the Covina Police arriving at this storage facility , Manager Louie pointed a can of pepper spray at our friend the male Hispanic Ameican veteran . The real reason for this false arrest was it was a case of Mistaken Idenity . Long Beach Court sent Covina Police some slander . It came from Division Chief : Ms. Osborne . The suspect they were looking for was 5 foot and 11 inches. This suspect had black hair. This suspect was from San Pedro and had a very long criminal history. Some would say this false arrest would make a good civil lawsuit. For Breach of Implied Contract . Our friend was there before the storage facility closed. No grounds for Louie the Manager to point a can of pepper spray at a paying customer. No reason for Police Officer Thompson to arrest the male Hispanic American veteran . No crime in progress . Calif Penal Code: 849. So the arrest was a false arrest. False imprisonment . illegal detaiment . Plus police abuse. Covina Self Storage could one day be sued for Breach of Implied Contact . Bad customer service . The owner sadly might be a white racist. The owner is very good friends with the white racists police of Covina. That have a extensive criminal history of police abuse. In fact were wrote up by senator or congress women Maxine Waters . For police abuse. Bad customer service. read more

These clowns called and low-key threatened to send out account to collections when we are less than two weeks late due to being under an evacuation order because of the wildfires. Service is fine, i guess. Nothing special. I'd avoid doing business with anyone who simple calls and threatens after less than 2 weeks without regard for the fact that we're literally trying to determine if we have to flee our home. read more
