OK so I've only been here twice. Once in 08/2024 & just recently in 08/2025, both times for the Country In The Cove music festival. Other than for this I don't think that I would ever go just to ride the water slides as I'm no longer a kid & too afraid of getting hurt...lol This is a credit card/debit card only business, NO CASH. You can pay cash to park which was $10 for this music festival. They do check your bags upon arrival so make sure to check their website on what you're allowed & not allowed to bring inside. You are allowed to leave the park & go out to your car in the parking lot so if you want to leave a cooler inside your car with food for lunch they do allow this. They do sell food inside if you'd rather buy something to eat. One of my friends bought a large pizza that he shared & it was really good. They do allow you to bring inside a cooler but no bigger than 16 quarts. I got a nice one with wheels for this year @ Target on-line. You're allowed to bring in unopened bottles of water inside. I wasn't sure if I would be allowed to bring in my metal water bottle that keeps my water nice & cold in this Vegas heat but I did see people in the park with their metal/plastic water bottles. The line gets long before the park opens for the music festival so if you want to grab some seats for you & your party I'd arrive early. They do have lockers inside the park that you can use but you have to pay for them. You can get buckets of beer/seltzers but buying them by the bucket doesn't save you any money. I would buy two high noons @ a time (about $25 for 2) & I had told the cashier that I was going to put one in my cooler & she opened one & left the other one unopened so I was able to stick it in my cooler to keep cold for later. They do have a water station but I actually had gone to their soda dispenser to get ice & water. They have Pepsi products (yuck, but I don't drink soda anymore). They didn't have a soda water spout on their soda machine which is what I like to drink. When we go for this music festival I LOVE floating around & around in their lazy river. It's so relaxing & fun. They have floats out for you to use while there, you can't bring in your own pool floats into the park. Their life guards are very attentive. I never saw one not paying attention to everyone in the water. Their eyes were on everyone in the water. They weren't on their cell phones, they weren't chatting with their co-workers & most kept whistles in their mouth the whole time. I spoke with a young female life guard & told her how impressed I was with this & really appreciated it...not sure if you know or not it only takes a second for someone to drown, it can happen in a blink of an eye. She told me that they're not allowed to do anything but pay attention to the water. There are certain whistle blows for certain situations. Love that they take their job seriously & are looking out for everyone in the water. Thank you! You're not allowed to smoke or vape inside the park which I did witness this going on. Not sure if these people didn't know or just didn't care. There is a spot outside the park for smoker's. My friends & I also enjoy hanging out in the wave pool. There is a stage right there where the musicians performed. The only thing that I was disappointed in was the waves were really small. Not sure if they tone them down for the concert or if this is how it always is? My friend & I decide that we want to make this a yearly event for us as we love it soooo much! I enjoy that there are no kids running around, crying, screaming or splashing us. Sorry parents. It's a great adults only (21+) event whether you like country music or not. All the water slides that are open during this event are included in your admission to ride. One of the best ways to beat the heat in Vegas. I have taken my kids one swimmer one non swimmer and they have had so much fun. The wave pool is great but my favorite is the lazy river. My baby girl was able to have a lot of fun in the younger kids area. I don't like that some of the drinks are a bit pricey but that's pretty much the norm at any park. I highly suggest the Frazzle drinks where you can mix fruit flavors. My kids loved it. I got a small locker for $15 for the super important items I couldn't lose but twice now have left the bag with towels and non important stuff near where we were and it was never disturbed. Also highly suggest a water proof pouch for your phone. Mine works great and I'm able to take pictures using it while relaxing in the water. read more

I spent several months saving up for a visit to calabunga Bay, hoping to give my son the best birthday experience. From the moment we arrived, I was greeted with exceptional service. Kayla, in particular, was outstanding. She warmly guided us to the party area, and it was clear she took pride in ensuring every detail was perfect. Alongside Becky, they made the entire event seamless. I'm also so grateful to my host, though I can't recall her name--she was just as amazing, always attentive, and making sure we had everything we needed. My family and I recently visited Cowabunga Bay in Henderson, Las Vegas while on vacation from out of state. We purchased admission tickets for five guests, along with a VIP Cabana, expecting a premium experience similar to what we have received at Cowabunga Bay Coyote Canyon. Unfortunately, our experience fell well below expectations. Upon arrival, we discovered that towels were not included with our cabana rental. Since we were unaware of this policy difference, we had no towels with us. Multiple employees simply directed us to purchase towels rather than offering any assistance or solutions. My husband also inquired about the advertised 30% off cabana promotion and requested to speak with a manager after receiving conflicting answers from several employees, many of whom either did not understand the promotion or could not explain it. Additionally, I requested an escort to our cabana multiple times. We were repeatedly told that someone was on the way, yet no one ever arrived. After waiting approximately 10 minutes in 110-degree weather, we eventually located the cabana ourselves. This was especially frustrating considering my husband was using a leg scooter due to an injury. Throughout the day, many of the intertubes for the slides, wave pool, and lazy river were deflated, creating longer wait times and unnecessary inconvenience. At one point, the conveyor belt used to transport tubes was broken, leaving guests standing in long lines under the hot sun with little to no shade. To make matters worse, my son's $200 Yeezy slides were stolen from the wave pool area. While we understand that theft can happen anywhere, the lack of empathy, concern, or willingness to help from staff was disappointing. We also paid full admission for my husband despite the fact that he was unable to participate in most attractions due to his injury, and no accommodations or alternative options were suggested. Another frustration occurred near the end of the day when the restrooms closest to our cabana were closed before the park itself closed. We were instructed to walk all the way to the front restrooms to change clothes and use the facilities. This seemed unreasonable given the premium price paid for a VIP cabana experience. The one bright spot of our visit was our cabana hostess, Bailey. She was absolutely phenomenal. Bailey was attentive, professional, and incredibly kind throughout the day. She made sure we always had ice water, drinks, and food when needed, and she consistently checked in to ensure we were comfortable. Her outstanding customer service was the highlight of an otherwise disappointing experience. Overall, we left feeling that the level of service did not match the premium price we paid. When families invest in VIP experiences while on vacation, they expect convenience, communication, and customer care. Unfortunately, we experienced confusion, lack of assistance, and minimal empathy from much of the staff. Cowabunga Bay has the opportunity to create lasting positive memories for guests, but customer service improvements are needed to ensure families leave with good experiences rather than negative ones. read more

My first time here. We went directly to the Beach Blanket/ Wild Surf line. We waited forever because there were only 3 rafts available btw the 2 rides. Perhaps it end of season and the other rafts were ruined. So instead of letting one raft down and the next raft getting seated, there was no raft in the queue. Made this wait extremely long and inefficient. Also the ride with 4 tube slides.... They were low on pink rafts. So there was no waiting on the top, but the line on the bottom was long because no pink tubes. Very disappointed as that is an easy fix. Otherwise the waits and times were to be expected. A good amount of lifeguards and crowd management. I was onsite for 4 hours and got on 4 rides, wave pool twice and lazy river and pizza. We got there before opening so we could get seats in the shade which was nice. Bought tickets at Costco and brought our own bottled water. Fairly reasonable price for the fun. I wore Lycra water shoes around which was nice because my feet were always protected. read more

We were extremely disappointed with Cowabunga Bay for canceling Great Grade Day with no real explanation. My kids were so excited to go. This was something they had been looking forward to for weeks, and it was planned as a reward for doing well in school. What made it worse was how it was handled. On the website, it simply says "Thank you for your understanding," but honestly, there was no understanding at all. No clear reason was given, no apology, and no effort to explain why such a big event was canceled last minute. Families plan around these things, and it felt very careless. Canceling an event that's meant for kids without transparency is frustrating and disappointing. Because of the lack of communication and consideration, we will not be returning anytime soon and felt it was important to leave an honest review. read more

Put in a complaint with how my 20 year old son and 19 year old girlfriend were treated by security and my sons girlfriend was asked to show school transcripts to prove she was at least 18. After she showed her Id she was made to remove her prescription glasses not sunglasses two he could confirm it was her. All while being laughed about with other guest entering! They were so humiliated and it was hard for them to enjoy their visit. I had immediately put a complaint in and still have not heard back from anyone. read more

We came here from AZ for a birthday celebration, bringing in 22 people for our party and a few other local friends who bought their own tickets that day. Without getting into too much, we booked our package and ended up with a few issues the day before when we noticed some pricing discrepancies. Annaka, who booked our party, was difficult to get in contact with and when we finally did get in contact, she was less than helpful. However, I am giving a five star review because Kayla saved the day. Had it not been for her rescue, we were never going to return. Thanks to Kayla, our issues were resolved, everyone had an amazing time, and we're even planning a group trip for our church group. We had funnel cake, pizza, dippin' dots, and some drinks. We purchased a season pass this year and after our visit today I wish we hadn't....we left the park after 28 minutes trying the lazy river and the wave pool. Both conditions of the water were disgusting and quite honestly, concerning on a public health level. Water was cloudy, dirty, floating garbage and leaves everywhere you look! So gross. I doubt we will return to this location. We will definitely be trying the canyon location next time. Those reviews seem better. Greatly disappointed! This place was really fun! Took my niece here while she was visiting for the summer! The rides were a blast. There were a few rides and concession stands that were closed though. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There are lockers you can rent to store your belongings. With the lockers you only get one wrist band, so whoever is wearing the wristband will have to be the one to get phones, wallets, etc when you need them. There are cabanas and lounge chairs you can rent. I would personally not rent unless you have a big party. There are plenty of tables under shade to set up at, and no one will bother your stuff. If you do want to rent a cabana or lounge chair, I recommend doing it online prior to going, they were sold out when we got there. The tickets were also coming up $10 cheaper online as well. The food of course was overpriced which is expected for any park. You can bring your own snacks and sealed beverages. The snacks do have to be in a ziploc bag, it can't be in its original packaging. You can also bring a water flask as well and a cooler. The website goes through everything you're allowed to bring. Overall it was really fun. Will def go back. read more

We came on a Tuesday for the 2 for 1 deal and it was worth the price. My kids are 8 and 11 and they enjoyed it for the most part. It was easy to navigate and the employees were alright; they were a bunch of teenagers so they weren't the most helpful and were whistle crazy every 3 seconds. We also got the private VIP cabana and it wasn't worth it even though you get a refrigerator of waters and the private pool. I wouldn't do the cabana again due to the price and service. Our safe didn't work and they made me wait 45 mins before providing a solution of a free locker or a $25 meal credit. I asked for both since they were supposed to provide the safe anyway and then $25 food credit would've been for the inconvenience. Waited another 20 mins before they just wheeled over a new safe and that was that. I didn't appreciate the inconvenience of that experience especially after I paid $240 for the cabana. What can you expect from teenager employees that don't care about anyone other than themselves I guess. The lazy river was dirty and disgusting and so was the wave pool. The slides were the only good things until you come to a realization that the water is probably equally as disgusting. Cleanliness is not a word to describe this place. I made the best of the day and salvaged what we could. We won't be back. read more

As you make your way through the event the little frosty snow men, elves, and other snow creatures sing along with the music. Beware and pay attention! The lights and the joy of the season can distract us. As you turn and twist your way throughout this display it's sharp turns. Don't hit that curb and get a flat. The lights shine and twinkle above the car. If you have a sun roof now is the time to open it. The tunnel of lights was spectacular. Each one has so many lights that shine and gleam. Now we visited this event very early, so some of the lights were out. To bad but it does not take anything away from the fun that you see. Look at that Christmas tree, it's so shiny. Make a wish and enjoy this magical time of year. We have get caught up in our daily lives which sometimes this time of year can be dark. It's cold and difficult in the world these days. What i liked was the lifeguards were awesome and were watching the behavior of the people. They were professional and courteous. The bad was the service at the food/ drink stations. The employees acted like we were a burden to them, no smiling or courteous behavior. I asked if I could refill my souvenir cups at one food stand and the female said I could not, yet she did for others. Every customer comes in and pays decent amounts of money and for the employees to treat customers that way is very sad. First time here with children under 7 years old. They had a great time! Parking was $10. You can bring water into the park but it must be sealed. You can also bring an empty water bottle to refill in the park but the only water station had the red light flashing meaning that the filter needed to be changed. The children's water area was fairly large as it had a 4 lane water race in the front surrounded by 4 smaller slides good for toddlers and babies on the sides and 2 covered slides in the back for preschool and up aged children. Lots to keep them busy and having fun in the water! They also have free sunscreen boxes throughout the park that you can use. They have Pinks Hot Dogs for food along with burgers and chicken nuggets. A little pricey for food. We did get a giant pretzel for $7.99 that came with cheese sauce and the pretzel was soft and pretty good! They have funnel cake but we didn't try any. The lazy river and wave pool were fine and it's pretty easy to find intertubes. I will advise on purchasing a waterproof phone much before going into the park otherwise they sell them for $40. Didnt go on any of the bigger slides, but i think there was 3 of them. Overall had a nice time with the children and would recommend for a fun family day. read more

Vegas's summertime isn't pretty, and I understand people would like to go to a waterpark in Vegas sounds like a great idea right!? Well cowbunga bay and cowabunga canyon aren't the same as they used to be. Their waterparks are always dirty and overpriced and it's always full of rough people and it gets too crowded, I wouldn't recommend going to any of the waterparks here it's not worth it. We did a vip cabana on Labor Day and the only good thing was having the little pool infront. For being so close to my house, this was the first time I have paid a visit to Cowabunga Bay. We came on Tuesday with my husband and his classmates to celebrate their graduation. They had bought out a bunch of cabanas in the VIP area and when we walked in to the VIP area to check in, the staff told us we were their biggest booking for that many VIP cabanas. This place is pretty awesome. Honestly, if it was around when I was a teenager, I would have been here every day in the summer with my friends. I believe they even have season passes, too, which again are totally worth it for the kids. It's definitely family friendly. They have wave pools, kid splash areas, pools, slides, a lazy river and more. And for the adults, they have alcohol! Woo! The VIP area is really nice and technically you can't get in there unless you have a VIP wrist band, which no one was actually checking. I'm assuming because it was a weekday. The cabanas are around the outside of its own private pool, which was really nice. The cabanas are okay. They have a cooler which they stocked with waters for us. And then also it's own safe. Our safe didn't work though and wouldn't lock so that was unfortunate. But it was really nice and I felt like our stuff was safe in that area anyway. The VIP cabana staff wasn't the most attentive which again was sad because we had sooo many cabanas. I think 6 in total in our group. A few of our friends said it took them about 45 minutes to get their drinks. I will say, when I ordered toward the end of the day, I got my piña colada pretty quickly. But when I ordered my second one it took a good half hour. So unfortunate for it being VIP. We ended up getting most of our food and drinks at the regular food stands. The rides were a lot of fun! I loved the water slide with the raft and it spits you into this giant blue half pipe thing. It was awesome! Only thing was it took about 45 minutes in line (perhaps putting up wait time signs would be helpful?) and then right before you go down, they weigh your group. There were four of us but we set off the scale. That was a little unsettling so we ended up having to break up our group. Darn. But it really was a lot of fun! A few weeks ago, my daughter and I saw a ad for Cowabunga Bay. Last year, we had visited Wet'N'Wild a few times, but noticed Cowabunga Bay opens up earlier than Wet'N'Wild. We decided to purchase a summer annual pass online at Cowabung Bay, including the annual locker pass. We printed out our season tickets and decided to visit Cowabunga Bay, our first time, on a Sunday a few weeks ago. Cowabunga Bay is off of Galleria Drive, in Henderson. It took us about 30 minutes to get there, but it was relatively easy, coming out from Northwest Las Vegas, just south on the 95. We ended up waiting an hour initially to find a parking spot. Afterwards, we needed to get our annual card pass, which took approximately another hour to wait in-line. When processing your annual pass, you take a picture. You can ask for a card or a key-pass. We opted for the card. After our summer pass was processed, there was no wait-line to go through. Inside Cowabunga Bay, there are plenty of activities and food for people visiting Cowabunga Bay. We went into the store to check out the merchandise first. Lots of cool towels and Cowabunga bay themed items. Next to the merchandise store is the lockers. If you have a locker annual pass, you'll need to go into the merchandise store to get your pass and locker ID. The annual pass for the locker allows you to have a medium sized locker, included in the locker pass. It was able to fix our towels and other items that we brought with us. We decided to check out the Kids Splash pad first. It's not as new as Wet'N'Wild, but still fun activities. The water is heated. There are several water slides in the kids splash zone. They range from small to medium sized water slides. There are also buckets that fill up with water and splash kids. My daughter easily spent about 3 hours in the area before we checked out other parts of Cowabunga Bay. The next area we decided to take a adventure in is the two of the larger water slides next to the Kids Splash area. There is a weight and height restriction. Unfortunately, My daughter and I didn't meet the weight restriction (you need to meet a certain weight), we were too light to go on the blue water slide, so, we opted for the green slide. Here you sit together on a big tube and go down a open water slide. It was nice and relaxing. The water is not heated though! Be prepared for some cold water! Afterwards, we meandered toward the wave pool. The wave pool has a bunch of seating around it. The water is heated, which is nice! The waves start-up every 10 minutes. My daughter had a lot of fun swimming in the wave pool. There is a height restriction and life jackets are required if you're within the height restriction. Next, we went to the lazy river, which the water was also heated. We went around the lazy river 3 times in a double tube float. There are several areas where water will splash you through-out the lazy river! The current is strong and will push you throughout the course. The last area we visited was the stand-alone tube slides. There are 4 different tube slides - blue, green, yellow, and pink. The pink one is a single rider lane only. The blue was fun! It had a indoor section with lights that are lit as you go down the ride. The green one was crazy fast! My daughter lost her eye goggles on this one. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to try the yellow or pink ones. After my daughter lost her goggles, she wanted to grab something to eat and go. There are a few different places to grab something to eat. Cowabunga's main location offers burgers, chicken, pizza, fast food type cuisine. There is a sweet treat next to it that does ice cream, funnel cakes, fried Oreos and much more! It is slightly expensive. We ordered [2] small ice creams, a bottle of water, and the souvenir mug for approximately $27.00. Right now, Cowabunga bay is following COVID restrictions. Physical distancing is required on the rides and while waiting for food. You must wear your mask at all times unless you're in the water. All of the bathrooms and changing rooms were super clean! We had a lot of fun and can't wait to be back a few more times over the summer! read more

The kids been seeing this light up place by the water park so of course we had to stop by! It was really cute with lots of lights. Around 35 dollars each car. You even get to call Santa and he talks to the kids lol my only concern with this place is they need to bring up more up to date . Use characters the kids know like Elsa , and so much more! My girls and I have been coming to cowabunga bay for the past four years now. The last two years we got season passes because it's so worth it and we love coming here so much! They also have a souvenir cup that you purchase one time for all you can drink through out the time it's open! Money saver at its best! We come here about 4-6 times a month. We enjoyed the rides, the atmosphere, the events they have, the food, the service, the rides, and the thrill. If we could live here, we sure would do it in a heartbeat. I highly recommend cowabunga bay and canyon location to beat the heat! read more

We had so much fun last summer that my kids rather have passes to the Bay than Keys to Disneyland. We went this past weekend and they were PUMPED. Thinking that we're well into the season, they must have worked out the kinks. Figuring out which line to hop into to get in was a colossal nightmare. Watching guests just cut in front of people since they didn't know where to go was headache inducing. I'm shocked no one broke out into fist fights. Stoked to see that they got rid of the loungers and put in more chairs. I was surprised to see people setting up their own "encampments" of pop up tents, camping tents, etc. Not going to lie - although I appreciate their industrious nature - it just looks like we're one chant away from a protest. Life guards are pretty on it except for a couple of incidents. The chick that was walking back and forth kept hitting my head with her float thing. Then there was a small blip where a cluster of 4 lifeguards were just having a chit chat. Someone came and broke them up. The food used to be the justification for coming here. I thought the line wasn't long as I was still inside the barrier yet It took me over a half hour to order my food and then another 25 minutes to get my food. The pizza was gross. I was so upset. The pizza last year was so good. Most of the pizza was just sauce - like they forgot to put cheese, and each slice had 1-2 pepperoni. It was comical. The dough was so thick, I'm surprised they didn't just call it a pizza loaf. I was so depressed from the beige food that I thought the lazy river would make me happier. The tubes were as deflated as I was. And there weren't many. Tube shortage now? I don't know what filters need to be cleaned or repaired but the park smells like a moldy locker room. Or were the guests just so stinky? I don't know what it was but it was gag inducing. I have no issues that most of the staff are teenagers. They're doing the best they know how. I tried to give grace as we all know finding staff is challenging but NOPE. They have plenty of staff. They're just all clustered together chit chatting with each other. Clearly a leadership issue. It's not all staff that made the day meh. Some of the guests are literal trasholes. I loved (I'm being sarcastic here) seeing parents sitting with a book or a phone in front of them while their little devil ran amuck tormenting other guests. Mostly big kids knocking over infants and toddlers (not mine luckily). Those kids weren't pleased when I asked them "where are your parents?" This isn't a communal village for you to just drop your kids off and have other responsible adults manage your crotchlings. A lot of issues could have been ironed out if seasoned staff was at each "station" to guide the teens on how to perform. Which seemed to be the norm last year - where are those people? There's also a poor planning issue. Staff distribution isn't rocket science. To see staff lingering and chit chatting when other areas need support is disappointing. Better planning and you could alleviate all the unnecessary congestion. This can't be that hard as this park has been open for years - shouldn't you just use lesson learned from the year before and improve. Or does the management not care enough to fix these little nuances. I'm hoping they can turn things around before the season ends. read more
