Not going to win any culinary awards, but if you're looking for a quintessential dive bar with a broad menu of food (apps, burgers, salads, chili) and a half-dozen TVs for your favorite sporting event, this Arlington original will keep you happy! Service was great and the drinks were plentiful.

Definitely need to try this again. I went on Tuesday during half off burgers and it was such a great deal. Normally around $15-16 a burger w fries and was 7.75 half off which is a steal! I ordered the shroomer and asked for medium rare but it was more medium than anything. Also I felt the patty could use some more salt/umami since the cheese and the mushrooms seemed to be lacking but the deal and the size was so good I still enjoyed it. The fries were very good, one of the best I've had in the area. The service was fast and they refilled my drinks without me asking. Also I like the divey vibe. Parking is tough since they only have like 3-4 spots. Otherwise still great and hope to come back!

Went on a Saturday afternoon. Covid measures in place in terms of ordering and outdoor dining. Not all tables under an umbrella; something to consider if it looks rainy. There are 2 TVs outside. I ordered the Blue Moon burger- a burger with melted blue cheese- with extra lettuce. It was amazing!!! I happily fought the burger and won. Although graceful eating it was not! There was plenty of cheese, the lettuce was crisp and fresh. The onions the perfect crunchiness. Ok tomato. There bun held together. Next time I would ask them to cut it in half in the kitchen; it was hard to do with a plastic knife. The fries were perfection. Crisp deliciousness. I can't believe this burger has existed this long and I didn't know about it!!! The one bathroom had issues with the toilet paper. Had to use the other bathroom. Definitely will be back.

The Duke Burger

Cowboy Cafe is a dive bar/restaurant in North Arlington off of Lee Highway (now Langston Blvd.) They have pretty great food, a nice beer selection, and overall good service. Their hamburgers are their specialty in my opinion (the best of these are The Duke, the ChiliBurger, and the California Burger). The one downside is that parking can be hard to come by here (there are a few on-site places and there's a small, difficult to negotiate lot that's nearby, adjacent to the McDonald's), and it can get very crowded at peak times. Also recommended are the Cowgirl chicken entree and the Cajun Chicken Pasta. There is also an outside dining area but I've never eaten there. For those who want to just sit at the bar there's a limited number of seats.

This place is amazing! Great food, music, and liquor. Highly recommend them. Bar tender was nice and kept refilling beers.

Good service and good food. We had tacos on special, with the fish and pork being the best, and the onion rings were a nice indulgence.

Looking for buffalos wings tonight - so they serve them? Would that be the TNT wings?

They do have wings; appetizers. The TNT is a burger with wing sauce. Great place. Have fun!

You have a choice of chocolate chip hotcake, blueberry hotcake, pecan waffle or waffle with blueberry toppings. Like my review of its other location, their food was good and reliable. Our server was distracted though. When I ordered my food, he did not say that I had a choice between bacon, sausage, or ham. He said, "It comes with bacon. Is that okay with you?" To other customers who do not know that they have options, they would probably just say yes or no. Since I knew, I had him change it. When it came to payment, we were offering 3 credit cards to divide the check. However, he initially just got one of ours but before he reached the register he realized he only got one of our cards so he went back. He then gave each one's check one at a time with only a pen for everyone. Nevertheless, would still give this spot a 4/5.

The naan was soft and fluffy, and a great complement to the curry Staff and service was friendly; we did request our orders to be free from coriander and cilantro, but items still came topped with the herb; we were able to pick it off, somewhat. There seems to be a constant flow of patrons picking up catering and to-go orders, as well as some deliveries. Providing to-go containers and a brown bag was generous. It didn't move to the "Order Ready" category on the screen, nor did it come out and get placed in the rack where online and delivery orders were placed. There were a number of people coming to place orders, and others milling about waiting for their order to come up. I presume that they had come to the store to place their orders and were waiting for them to be ready. So I didn't go to the counter to ask the staff the status of my order, noticing that they were rather disorganized. I didn't want to create more distractions. It would prolong my weight. Finally, after almost everyone cleared out the fellow behind the counter asked if I had an order and what was my name. I told him and he said, "oh it's been here for a while." At that point, I got frustrated and told him that if an order is finished you put it on the screen as "ready" or move it out to the pick up orders. Why else would you have a shelf for online order pick-ups!?" He didn't respond and I just left. I'll only go back to that Wendy's if it's the last resort.

I thought about getting some candy like Sweedish Fish, but in the end the chocolate frosty seemed like it would be a little bit healthier and somewhat easier on my teeth. I was served quickly, however when the employee handed me the frosty, the cup was not completely full. Secondly, the price for tge medium sized frosty was over $4.00, which was higher than what I had paid just a few months before. I had asked the gentleman if he could please fill the cup completely. He took back the cup and acted like he was doing something with it for nearly 30 seconds. I thought it was a strange move. He handed the cup back to me and it has virtually the same amount. I took it and rolled-out feeling a little ripped off. It tasted good though!

It only took a quick 10 minutes to receive our entire order, which was 3 burgers, a crispy fried chicken sandwich, loaded fries, and 2 milkshakes! I was very happy with how efficient the service was and the most important part, how delicious every bite was! The smashburgers are made with 100% halal beef and they come out HOT with perfectly crispy edges on the patties and a juicy center. We ordered 3 burgers and each of them stood out in their own way. You can get a single, double, or triple patty burger and add whatever toppings to it too. The jalapeño burger was the star of the show, it had a such a nice and spicy kick to it. I wasn't expecting much but this burger had HEAT! Another favorite was the Juicy Lucy. It was packed with grilled onions and the patty was stuffed with cheddar cheese. A super messy and cheesy option that was definitely worth every bite! I liked that Jon's Joint offered other options too such as loaded fries and fried chicken sandwiches. What I found unique is that for the loaded fries, you can get it with falafel and make it spicy! This time, they had run out of the falafel so I am excited to try it next time.
