Don't bother with this place. It uses an automated answering system. If you're not in their service area it will cut you off. I was looking for appliance parts before the Fourth of July and needed an icemaker for my moms fridge. I was checking to see if they had parts but since they didn't answer I will never know. Guess we'll order online and my nephew can replace it for them. I wonder how big their service area actually is since we we were less than 30 miles away? read more

On Monday November 27th,2023 I placed a phone call to Tri State Appliance asking if I could schedule a repair on my clothes washer. The male I spoke to advised that he could have some come on November 30th at an unknown time. I advised that would be fine so I took the day off of work to wait for the service person to arrive. On November 30th I waited and waited and still no servicer person so I called at 5:30 pm and spoke to a male asking if the servicer person was going to show up. The male on the phone advised that the servicer person is a contractor and he has no knowledge of his schedule and he was unable to help me. Today as of this review December 3, 2023 I still never heard from the service person. So my advise is do not use this company they have horrible customer service. read more

Mark is a reliable, honest and dependable business owner who takes his integrity seriously. He has sold me several appliances & many repairs throughout he years. He is very trustworthy. If he can't repair appliances he will tell you. Sometimes it's not repairable because he can't get the parts. You can count on him. He values the customer. read more

What a great place to buy a used appliance! I've bought several here over the years and they always work great, are a clean as a new appliance, and delivered promptly. The delivery crew is are great and friendly folks who are extremely diligent and careful with the deliveries. I would never buy a new appliance (which typically break down after a few years) when I could have an older, reliable appliance that will give me years of service. read more

I bought a used (and well-repaired) washer and a dryer from the in 1992 for $50 a piece, figuring they'd last a year until I could afford something better. This is my go to repair and dryer/ washing machine shop. I have bought 2 dryers and one washing machine from them over the years. They are used and fixed up so they work perfectly. They always last. I have never had a problem with my machines that I could credit back to them. When there is a small repair needed, they come out quickly, get the job done, are friendly and again affordable. The owner is the nicest guy. I highly recommend them and will use them for years to come! read more

This place is super legit!!! My washer stopped working on me all of a sudden and would have cost me close to $1000 for repairs. I called this place which I found here on Yelp and they gave me a price range of what they had in store. I visited the store and Tommy helped me out in finding what I was looking for. All the washers he showed me were next to brand new in condition. I came back the next day to make the purchase with no problem. It was delivered to my house the following day and it only took the delivery guys 15 mins to put it in laundry room and to install. It's works like a charm and they offer a 90 day warranty. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for an appliance that is not over priced and has good customer service. read more

Would not recommend. Bought a used gas dryer over the phone and was assured they would hook up the dryer vent even when I told them ahead of time that a section was missing. They had only two 2-foot dilapidated old flexible vent pieces on the truck and nothing to connect anything. Also the drum light inside does not work. I did try to call the store and was told I will need to call back later. Delivery and installation ($40) was waived because I gave them two working electric dryers and one needing repair. I was told I'm the only one who has ever made this complaint. I will update this if the result changes. I was able to piece the vent together as they could not do, but have nothing to clamp them together. Wondering if there is a safety code I should be aware of on this kind of thing. read more

I had heard nothing but good things about this place so I bought a washer and dryer set in late April. I've already had to have the washer replaced and the replacement fixed and now the dryer isn't working. Every time I call they act as though I am inconveniencing them. I have not been able to do laundry using the appliances I paid for over half the time I've had them. Also the man who came to repair the washers said both times that there was something done wrong when they were refurbished. Buyer beware, you get what you pay for. read more

i recommend this store to anyone who wants to have nice, name brand appliances on a budget. the store is pretty beat up, but trust me, your new appliance will be spotlessly cleaned before it is delivered. the owner is very professional and knowledgeable. i bought a fridge from them and thought their customer service was great. read more

My Mother in Law recently purchased a washer and a dryer from this "business". A few days after the appliances were deliver to her house the dryer began to not work properly. The Dryer cord had to be replaced and the push start on the panel would not work. My mother in law called one man his name started with a "P". She stated to him that she has been trying to get a hold of someone for weeks to come out and fix the dryer. (Finally this man answered) He was completely rude with her stating that he does not drive out to her location and would not drive all the way out there even though the company just delivered both the washer and dryer to her house. The next phone call a few days later was with a man, his name started with a "T". This man raised his voice to her, and yelled at her stating the same things that the previous man said about driving out to her location even though it was delivered there. And once again gave another number for someone else that would not help her. His name started with a "G". My mother in law said that this man was nice to her and seemed to understand what her issues were. He then stated that he would swing by and take a look at it that day. My mother in law then stayed home all day long waiting for this man that never showed and never called back stating that he would not be able to come by. I have no idea how all three of these men are employed let alone working for a company that has supposedly been around for 25 years. After 25 years of service to a community you would think that the company would have a pristine customer service reputation, some integrity, and just a better overall work ethic to satisfy their customers but clearly all they care about is rushing items out the door that are not even working properly with "warranties" that mean absolutely nothing because no one answers your phone call with in the warranty time frame. This has been the most utterly ridiculous experience my mother in law has ever had. I have no idea how this place stays in business with this horrible customer service. She deserves a full refund for her entire purchase for the blatant disrespect that these employees have expressed. read more

Bought a refrigerator on 10/2/2012. Everything works fine but id does not have all the shelves and the bottom pannel, which were supposed to be delivered with the refrigerator.i was asked if I as going to be home the rest of the day for them to deliver them but unfortunately I wasn't. I was then asked to stop by the store and get them whenever I had a chance. I have been to the store twice to collect them as instructed but every time I get there the story is the owner is not here and he is the one who knows where they are. I finally got another New refrigerator, same size, different model , just afew dollars more than what I paid for theirs.They have now refused to give me my money back or take their refrigerator.
