Cowboy Coffee on 1007 South Highway 89 in Jackson, Wyoming is one of three cowboy locations in town. I was going for a walk and decided to grab a warm drink. I ordered a bhakti chai this ended up being one of the better chais I've had. It was warm spicy and a little bit creamy all of which are things I look for in a good chai. I use the walk up window which is located in the back of the building. when I approached, I saw that the lady who was manning both the drive-through and walk up window appeared to be looking at her phone and it took about 40 seconds for her to notice. I was standing there. but she was friendly and my chai latte came out in about 90 seconds so nothing to complain about there. There is outdoor seating available in back and out front on the lawn but there are no bathrooms or indoor seating available This is a convenient location for those traveling to and from south of town or going into GTNP for an early morning tour or expedition.

This is the perfect option for when you're heading out to catch the sunrise at the Tetons! They open early, have great customer service, and the service is speedy. We tried the breakfast empanada (wow 10/10), veggie burrito(8/10) and ham croissant(6/10) along with iced coffees! I love that they also have stickers for purchase even in the drive through, I'm a sucker for a lil memento to remember a trip. Def a great easy option!

Quite overrated. I would get coffee here once, snap the picture and say you've been here. Overall, nothing special about the coffee or menu that makes me feel like it's different from others.

we were very disappointed after looking forward to this for our entire 2-hour drive and even the weeks leading up to our visit. the service was fine just the coffee lacked the vanilla flavor and the mocha flavor. the cups were cute but unfortunately we make better coffee at home with our keurig.

I perused the merch and the pastry case. I love that they call muffins "cupcakes", because really they are. I settled on ordering a hot almond milk latte and a drip coffee for my hubby. I know this is mountain town and things aren't as rushed as they are in the city, so I intended to wait. However, it took a good 3-4nin of me standing alone at the counter before anyone acknowledged me to take my order. After ordering I took a seat outside to wait for my latte. I waited, and waited. Thinking they called my name and I missed it, I headed indoors to check. Nope. They were finally calling the name of the couple who was seated outside when I arrived! Four or five minutes later they called the woman who was in line before me. There was another girl who walked in after me and was pacing, she finally asked about her mobile order she had placed 20min prior, they had no record of it, so they began making hers. I waited some more. When my latte was FINALLY ready it was placed on a counter & my name called. No "sorry for the wait". I grabbed it and booted out the door so we could get on the road. The drip coffee & latte were fine, but definitely not worth the wait. With so many other coffee shops steps away, we opted to visit the others for the remainder if our trip.

For instance, she told me that a side came with the sandwich I ordered, which was incorrect. While waiting for my order (which came out quickly), it was nice to look around and take in the decor. It was very tastefully decorated inside. The first time, I shared some food. It was good, but very expensive. I got a salad (22$) and a ham sandwich. The sandwich was 16$, which wasn't worth it. One slice of ham and one slice of cheese. The salad was fresh and flavorful. You can tell the ingredients are of high quality, but I don't know how people can afford this place regularly. The second time I went, I ordered two drinks to-go. One coffee, which was good. I found that a lot of coffee places in town don't know how to pull espresso, but my coffee was soo smooth. It made me happy! The second drink was incorrect. I ordered a matcha and didn't notice till I got home, and it was coffee. My companion, for whom I got it, was very sad, as they don't drink coffee. For a 10$ drink, I expect it to be correct.

The location is just a block off the main square with the Wort Hotel just across the street and some art galleries which is a great place while roaming. I recommend if you are looking for a unique dessert with coffee! The French Dessert/patisserie has a variety of goods--not all shown. On the far left there is flavored chocolates (bonbons?) with a range of flavors (when I went) from Huckleberry + Vanilla, tea, etc. it looked like you had to buy a minimum box of 6 for 24$ but I could be incorrect on that. Next case had a variety of desserts, which is where the huckleberry chocolate out of (abt 9$). They do run out of pastries as the day goes on so something specific from yelp might not be in there. Next case has about 10 flavored of gelato. The following case has savory pastries like feta cheese-mushroom or ham croissants in addition to sweeter goods like croissants and cookies. There is indoor seating (about four two tops), a bench outside, and takeaway pastry or chocolate boxes if to go. When I walked in it was pretty crowded but the service was efficient. Luckily there was enough space for me to dine-in with a comfy spot against the wall. (Note: The other side of the table had soft and wide stools but with no back). (Note #2: When eating in you get ceramic plate + silverware with a plastic cup for cold drinks; there is a little station near the entrance for trash and plates). The chocolate-Huckleberry dessert was delicious. It had chocolate roses (with texture!!!) on top and a marbled silver-purple chocolate surrounding the cake and huckleberry filling. Very beautiful and I really enjoyed the sweet but also tart huckleberry with the chocolate. It was a bit of a mess to eat but I am more than okay with that! I would recommend it! I was able to get the feta-something-mushroom croissant warmed for lunch, which was pretty tasty. Nice flakiness and the middle with the filling was a nice mix. If you are stopping for lunch/breakfast and want something a little more substantial to your meal/snake then I recommend. They also had a ham-something-Jalapeño but I wasn't sure on how strong the pepper would be. Lastly, I had a matcha latte. It can come in a variety of sizes and I believe with the option of cold or hot. It was good-decent but not my favorite matcha-- the flavors were more milk heavy. But that is likely just my current preference--some places I have gone recently have it stronger and some have it sweeter; so take it as you will. It did have the nice crushable ice which I munched on with the concentrated matcha at the end though. As for the drink menu they had more non-coffee options like hot chocolate, turmeric latte, etc along with (what is maybe standard? coffees---don't drink them) like cappuccinos, mochas, etc. along with drip and affogatos.

We did not get meat in it because we were not super hungry, but it did not need it. Great flavor. The burrito came with some fruit and such. I'd say it was medium size. It would not fill up a big appetite (go to D.O.G. for that) but I was not disappointed. The smoothie bowl was also excellent. It'd go back here again for sure. We asked them to split the smoothie bowl in two for us so we could each share the burrito and the smoothie. They happily did this. We got things to go, but they have an array of counter and table seating to choose from. We liked it. Prices were Jackson high. So, more than you want to pay but if you can get free coffee at your hotel than it wasn't too bad.
