I forgot the name of the scone - I think it was bacon, cranberry (maybe huckleberry) and pecan maybe? Holy crab, it was one of the best scone I ever tasted. It was huge because we kept munching on it for a while. It was savory with wonderful flavors. Most importantly it wasn't too dense but also not crumbly. Just the perfect scone if you're into scone like me. I wish I had gotten a piece of cake and/or cookie for the road. Highly recommended! Oh, I also love the name Persephone! It sticks!

She said they have no way to warm it but said it was bakery fresh. It's 9:30am... what does that mean to me...or any customer? If I ask for it to be warm, that is how I want it... if you can't do that just tell me before charging me. The manager came over and asked that the issue was. I explained it to him. He then explained that they don't warm things up. I said, "no issue. I just don't feel I should pay for it if it is not the way I requested. He agreed. Then one of his employees stepped in and said, "just keep it. I said I don't want it. She responded with, loudly as almost to embarrass me, "we are going to throw it away because we can't resell it!" This is not a place I would recommend if you like customer service, positive attitudes in the morning and/or a place where you can order food how you like it. This is a place that sells expensive overpriced bakery items and feels it is ok for its staff to be rude and indignant to its customers and does not cater to their customers needs. They get away with it because they get a lot of transient customers who simply don't care about the experience. That's ok for some, but for me, not for me.
