Unfortunately 2nd day we went the girl at the register just wasnt nice. not friendly not even a good morning but oddly the next customers after us she seemed more welcoming too. this is our second time coming back to this town and i believe for the next we wont. i believe one thing is if your constantly getting people from all over visiting. treat everyone the same, smile be more welcoming. we came in in a good mood and didnt allow this to ruin our plans for the day but we hope in the future this can be corrected by staff. maybe we caught the cashier on a bad morning. read more

On a recommendation from the Anvil Hotel we headed over to this local small business purveyor for coffee and breakfast. The coffee was good, strong and robust while the sandwiches were definitely better than a fast food joint. I was a little disappointed that the breakfast sandwiches were already made and sitting in a heated glass case BUT I suppose it wasn't all that surprising considering the line going out the door. The service was great, they were patient and kind even with the line of patrons building as we tried to decide what to order. Parking in the Fall is not horrid and the town is small enough to make this a short walk from our hotel. Definitely recommend you support this small local business. read more

Cowboy Coffee on N. Cache street in Jackson Wyoming one of my favorite local establishments. The inside of the storefront has a modern industrial/rustic western vibe with it's exposed wooden beams restored wooden shelves and warm grey color scheme on the walls. The food at cowboy coffee is good. during my visit I enjoyed a almond croissant and a dark roast coffee. The croissant was really good especially since they used real marzipan (I have had almond croissants that were not made with marzipan). The service is awesome compared to other coffee shops in town and the baristas are super friendly and are easy to chat with while the service is slow. normally the coffee shop is very busy and the average wait time could be 10+ minutes. read more

Terrible !! I was so excited to try this place coming here from out of town . I decided to try the Mexican mocha . Well i definitely did not like it . I decided to ask if I could just replace it with a regular mocha considering i just spent around $6 for a coffee . I was told no I would have to pay for a new coffee and I would receive a discount . All the research for food in Jackson led me to Cowboy Coffee Co. And for good reason. The place was understandably packed. It's small inside, but there are a few tables and a bar along the back. In addition to the food and drinks, they have a variety of items for sale. Souvenirs, hats, shirts, etc. They also offer a variety of food options, including breakfast sammiches, muffins, etc. I'm not a coffee drinker but my wife is, and and she very much enjoyed her drink (a "Honey Badger"), and a chocolate muffin. I enjoyed my Lotus Energy (pink lemonade) and "Cowboy Croissant". After securing our items (and a couple souvenirs for the wifey), we walked across the street to the main square. We took pictures under the famous antler arches, and walked through the peaceful park. The business in Cowboy Coffee never died down. I got to try the beloved Cowboy Coffee shop in downtown Jackson, and I'm a fan. I stopped by Cowboy Coffee on a Monday morning. I placed an ASAP order online for pickup, and it was ready as expected. The coffee shop was adorable, and I can see why it's a local favorite. Besides the vibes, the coffee and food were great. I got an almond milk latte, and there was something special about it. I can't quite put my finger on it, but maybe it's chicory I tasted? The coffee had a smoky flavor with a subtle sweetness although there was no added sugar. I also got THE Cowboy Croissant, which was highly recommended on YouTube videos of what to eat at Jackson. Pleased that I was able to customize the sandwich and make it a veggie version since I don't eat pork. The sandwich hit the spot, and the ingredients tasted fresh. It consisted of 2 fried eggs (over hard), avocado, red onions, peppers, and some time of aioli. Can't say that I could taste the aioli, but it was a solid sandwich nonetheless. read more

Really cute place for coffee right in the heart of downtown Jackson. They offer a bunch of coffee beverages but since I don't drink coffee, I went for the bhakti chai. The barista asked what kind of milk I wanted which I appreciated very much cuz I forgot that I wanted oat milk with it. The chai came out fast even thought the place was pretty busy and it was very very good. Good strong flavor! The cup is so cute too! There's wifi if you want to work and plenty of outlets to charge your phone and laptop. Good amount of bar seating too. They have food too! I saw some people eating some sandwiches. I came back the next morning to order a breakfast burrito - which are pre-made - it has eggs and sausage and hash browns. It's not a huge burrito but it was really filling and was perfect for fueling me for a morning of skiing. It was DELICIOUS. I was quite disappointed by our trip to Cowboy Coffee. Granted I didn't get up as early as I wanted to, and got here around 8, and the line was out the door! I'm not sure why halfway through waiting 20+ minutes they finally opened up a second line?! Hello- you should have done that 20 mins ago! Anyway, we finally got up to order and our food arrived super quickly (less than 5 mins). I'm not sure why the line was absolutely dragging because all the breakfast sandwiches were premade and packaged for folks to walk out the door! The food was great, but they got our order and gave my husband the wrong sandwich (still delicious), but just a very chaotic and sloppy business that morning! Hopefully, we caught just them off on a bad day! The cafe itself is tiny. They have different types of seating options inside: traditional tables, couches, and bar counters. This place is usually pretty busy having a line most days but they are pretty efficient and get through everyone in good time. Definitely worth the wait for a chai tea drinker like me they have a Bhakti chai here which I've only found at one other place. They also have cayenne pepper which means I don't have to add my own! They can make whatever you want they have an extensive menu of special drinks too for the non coffee drinkers like me. My husband was thrilled to death they had a nitro coffee and in a 24oz even! Stopping through JH we obviously had to stop at the famous Cowboy Coffee. We loved the coffee and the staff was so kind and friendly. They have a great space with a good amount of tables. They sell their own coffee and have such cute merch! One thing I really liked is that they had little spill covers for the coffee when you travel and they're CC themed, so cute. Honestly this business does a fantastic job with branding. Yes, there is going to be a line but genuinely once the staff took my order, it was less than 3 minutes before my two coffees were out, one being speciality which says something about their service.
