My garage light can't be turn on after we drilled a few holes to install a ceiling LED, we thought the wire inside ceiling was broken, so I asked Matthew to help. After he cut a few holes in the ceiling, he found out the wire is totally fine, then tried a few other things, later he identified it is because the 2nd floor bathroom GFCI switch is triggered ( I never thought Garage and 2nd floor is related). total time is about 30 minutes, and I have to repair the ceiling myself. He charged me for $275, that's after $75 discount(he offered it because he can't make it yesterday, come today instead), when I tried to ask if he could charge less because he didn't spend too much time in total, he started very emotional and very very rude. Matthew knows electric and can get the job done, for that I give 5 star, I give 0 start for being very very rude, 1 star for way above average charge per hour, so overall 2 star. read more

Oh my goodness. Margaret and Matthew are AMAZING. I loved working with them so much. They are honest, extremely affordable, work quick and love what they do. Also - super fun to chat with :) I got multiple quotes for a pendant light install and their pricing far outdid their competitors. We ended up getting a ceiling fan replaced, recess lights installed, attic electrical stuff cleaned up, and a few switches replaced in addition to the pendant lights, because: 1. I didn't realize how inexpensive they'd be and was able to have a bit more room in our budget to do other work we wanted to eventually get done. 2. They're just so amazing I wanted to give them more business. Hahaha. When we purchased our place, whoever did the electrical in our attic did a terrible job. Wiring everywhere was not up to code. Matt took pictures to show me, assuaged any concerns I had, and told me he'd take care of it for an extremely awesome price. They tell you this and stick by it - they don't like to use the fear tactic to gain business which I tremendously respect. Matt and Margaret are fantastic! I flipped a single-family bungalow this summer and needed help upgrading a bunch of electrical stuff I knew nothing about. The house was from 1940 and a lot of the wiring was generations old. As soon as they walked in for the estimate they knew what I was looking for. Matt walked me through the house and explained everything he would do to re-wire everything. Margaret contributed to the discussion and tracked everything I wanted done. The entire project took ~6 weeks; they could have gotten it done sooner but they patiently worked around my schedule. They were willing to work evenings and weekends to get portions of the job done in time, and took time away when I had proprietary work scheduled. They upgraded features to a modern standard and added some serious flair - they had an excellent ability to communicate the minimum, what they'd recommend, and everything in-between. They were incredibly affordable for the amount of work they put in, and you can tell this is both a profession and a passion for them. They even purchased some fixtures on my behalf, and sent me links to products they recommended throughout the process. Margaret was incredibly communicative - which was important to me since I couldn't be on-site all the time. They rolled with changes and updates, and tracked everything for invoicing. These guys came out to replace a fan. So friendly, fast and efficient. So I used them to put up 3 lights and install an electrical outlet. Again, fast friendly and corrected some electrical problems in the old wiring. So hired them to do my whole barn. Installed waterproof, horseproof metal conduit in exactly all the right places, including some watertight exterior plugs. Recommended LED so barn is daylight bright. They installed a mix of antique and new fixtures. All work perfectly. MOSTLY, they never got mad when I added a few plugs here and there. They remained low key and flexible. Had to work over several extremely hot days. I was flexible due to heat. I absolutely could not be happier, really everything I dreamed it could be.
