He then brought in his crew to divide and conquer the work. Abraham continued to be my primary contact communicating anything along the way of what was possible and went above and beyond. He offered to patch back any holes he created and even paint for us. You could tell he was dedicated to ensuring we were satisfied and that he held himself to a high standard of quality, even offering to come back free of charge to install a new switch once we had ordered it. Professional, informative, clean and got the job done correctly. I have a good understanding of electrical work but sometimes I just don't want to do it or have the time. I have hired 3 different electricians in the last 4 years during remodeling and breaker box work, VECK Electric has been the best by far. Beware! - this company is bad news and they do not take your health seriously when working in your house during COVID. We needed extensive electrical work done in our home and had worked with this company for smaller projects before. My wife insisted we stick with them and though I had misgivings about the extent of the work being done we agreed. We told the owner, Vepsi, to please have his crew wear masks before they even set foot inside our home, since the workers were going to be in our home. Our family stepped out and spent the whole day outside in the yard, in the heat, in order to keep our distance from the workers. I'd go in to use the bathroom and each time I noticed a worker not following our rules to wear masks. I wanted to ask them to leave right then, and now regret not having canceled the work at that moment. The owner, the company, and the workers brought onto our home did not consider our wishes and essentially our health nor theirs and it is a shame that the owner was not in control of the crew, even though he was often on-site! Irresponsible, reckless, and not to mention they left wires exposed, inactive plugs, and walls that were not properly patched. As an excuse, the owner said that his crew was made nervous and put-off by us asking them repeatedly to put masks on and thus the reason they were distracted and left exposed wiring and non-working plugs! How messed up of them to say this! Considering it was them that came into our house and not respected our wishes. Please steer clear of this company. The workers are not only irresponsible but shady-looking men who made us feel extremely uncomfortable in our own home. Never again! read more

These guys did great work re-wiring my pool electrical run about 50 feet from the panel to a junction box. When we bought the home a few months ago the existing wiring and conduit was badly in need of repair. I will never hire some one for a job again with out a personal referral. Vecks the classic case and point, not only are they expensive but they're unethical. If you hire this company, I would recommend very close supervision so they don't try and hit you for material costs that they dont use, but KEEP. Luckily I am capable of a little 4th grade math and have an eye for detail, the material receipt attached to the work invoice had over 500' of cable totaling over $300. My home is only 24' wide. Had I not noticed this, I would have supplied Vecks next job's wiring needs. I called them out on it and asked for MY material back. They walked over to their van and pulled out 2 gigantic rolls of romex. Makes you wonder how often they do this. Very disappointing there are licensed individuals out there doing this to people. read more

Needed an electrician to move a ceiling light about a foot over to be more centered in between two windows in our casual dining room. Found them through yelp and they were quick to respond, liked the quote they provided me online, and were able to setup an appointment fast. Day of appointment, about an hour into the time window they were suppose to show up, was notified they are running late and ended up having to reschedule because it was getting too late for me to even wait. Day of rescheduled appointment, they showed up on time. They quoted me $120 to move ceiling light, and $50 for patch and repair. But then the guy (forgot his name), said he has to charge me an additional $35 to "texturize" the repair to match the ceiling. I was ok with the added amount because I just wanted the services done but when u quote someone $50 for "patch and repair" of the previous hole, that should include "texturizing" of the area as it is part of the repair. Anyways, another guy did the labor and moved the light pretty quickly to the location I needed without problem (he even vacuumed the area he was working on) while the other team members had to go to Home Depot to but this texturizing supply. So, I was charged an additional $35 for them to use a spray can texture spray over the area which didn't even match the color of our ceiling, and WE still had to paint over it to match our ceiling cover, and the guy who sprayed the texture didn't even cover up our dining table and dining chairs, so after they left, we had to clean up our leather chairs and dining table from the paint overspray. I was really annoyed that was a big oversight on their part. read more
