When the plummer went to take out the old water heater, he noticed that the wiring caps were melted. Then when he hooked up the electrical it sparked really bad and he said the wiring at the water heater was not good and we needed to call an electrician. I asked Yelp to put me in contact with electricians, and one of the businesses they sent me to was Point Break Electric. Shane sent me a message back within 30 minutes, and after I explained our situation (that we had been without hot water for over a week and needed help with the electrical) he made a special trip down to our house at 9:00pm after working on a job almost an hour away from us. He assessed our situation and gave us a quote on a safe, cost effective, solution. We were so happy. He was also able to fit us into his schedule a day and a half later. Him and his partner rewired the wiring to our water heater and added a breaker box between the old wiring and the new. I can not thank them enough for helping us and making us a priority. I have a very old floor table lamp that I received from my parents after they passed. It stopped working so I contacted Point Break Electric. I explained the problem and texted close-up pictures of the lamp. I did find a similar table lamp at Lamps Plus for $150. After reviewing the pictures and the details of my electrical problems, Shane recommended buying the lamp from Lamps Plus because it would not be cost effective for him to fix it. I had an issue with loss of power in my house and I called Point Break Electric and he answered right away and I told him my situation and that it's a emergency as more than half my house had no power.
